When I go to BH I always stay at Nobile Inn Pampulha. It's close to everything I need and the accommodation is in line with the purpose of my trip. In my case, the cost-benefit ratio is perfect!
Good value for money.
The room had 2 single beds. I was alone, and it was perfect for me. The bed linens were clean. The room and bathroom were nice. The air conditioning worked well.
There was a minibar that wasn't very powerful, but it kept the food cold. There were no products in the room, but there was water, soda, and beer at the reception for anyone who wanted to buy something.
I preferred to buy something at a bakery that was nearby. My ”close” may not be the same as ”close” for others...lol. But it's on an avenue just above (Av. Portugal), about 1.3 km away. The bakery has everything, including self-service. I went for lunch and bought snacks for the afternoon and evening. On the way back, there's also a super fruit and vegetable market with very affordable prices for anyone who wants to buy fruit.
Depending on the purpose of your trip, if you have the morning or afternoon free, there's a beautiful setting for a walk or a jog. Just cross the street.
I didn't have any problems with noise during my stay. I was able to spend the day studying. There were a few guests who didn't have the manners to close the door slowly. I stayed on the 1st floor, apartment 203. From the side window, I could see part of the lake.
The breakfast is simple but adequate... it has the basics (coffee, milk, juice, two types of fruit, bread, cheese, ham, cakes...) There's a sandwich maker to make you something.
I can't say anything about parking, because I didn't have a car.
So that's it! I went to take a test for a public exam, so for me it was easy and the service was good.
If you don't want to walk, Uber shouldn't be expensive for that route.
The breakfast is suffering, too small for the hotel size, and they could have already resolved this, given the hotel age. In addition, only two staff members did not realize the full service of table cleaning, replacement of tools and the items offered in the buffet. We understand that the hotel price is economic, but it is not for that reason an advance authorisation for this type of disorganization.Suggestion: reduce buffet options, but ensure that no shortage of minimum, such as hot coffee and salt bread.
Great location, very good rooms, but unfortunately, terrible service.
There were huge lines for both check-in and check-out, and the staff seemed completely clueless. A 2 PM check-in time is already quite inconvenient, and we still had the experience of joining the massive reception queue, only to be told, when it was finally our turn at 1:58 PM, that we couldn't check in yet because the official time was 2 PM, and we'd have to wait at the back of the line. In the end, we only managed to get into our room closer to 3 PM, which was extremely inconvenient for us as we were staying for a wedding at 4 PM.
For check-out, the treatment was quite different, apart from the line still being enormous. We weren't given even a minute's grace period to check out.
A truly disappointing experience for a luxury hotel; we will definitely be looking for a different hotel on our next visit to the city.
Good location, spacious room, very good shower and hearty breakfast. However, terrible service, especially from Marcelo, the elevator didn't work to the floor we wanted, we had to climb the stairs, very old. Bad bedroom bed, springy and making a lot of noise about nothing, poor quality pillow. Slippery shower floor. We stayed over the weekend and due to the fair on Sunday, there was a lot of noise in the early morning due to the tents being set up. Terrible, I won't go back and I don't recommend it!
I want to give my praise for the care and attention I received during my stay, the hotel is wonderful, with a comfortable and well-structured environment, but what really made the difference was the care. Everyone I found was extremely kind, they made my experience even better. I was very happy with my stay and I will certainly come back!

GGuest UserThere was the embarrassment of being charged at the time of check in. Going through the stress of proving that the card had already been charged.
GGuest UserI was on business trip to Belo Horizonte and my customer recommended this Hotel Mercure Belo Horizonte Vila da Serra. The hotel room is nice and comfortable. The staff are all friendly. The breakfast is reasonably good. Would strongly recommend business travellers to consider this hotel if destination is not very far away from this hotel.
LLINGThe location is very close to the airport. There is a free shuttle bus to the airport. Just talk to the front desk of the hotel in advance. A little distance from the city center. The restaurant in the hotel is good. The price is not high. The taste is good.
AAnonymous UserFacilities: The hotel is relatively new, very close to the airport starting price
Hygienic: clean and tidy but the sheets are a bit thin
Environment: very close to the airport but not noisy
Service: The front desk can communicate in English and there are snack shelves.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very well located. I found the service from some of the staff to be a little cold. I didn't understand the fees being charged at check-in, but I was late for an appointment and it was precisely at that time that I found the employee unwilling to explain the fees.
Furthermore, the hotel is very good, the breakfast is excellent and most of the staff are courteous and attentive.
Parking is charged separately.
I recommend the hotel and would stay/stay there again on other occasions.
PPhil85The quality of the location is undeniable both in terms of staff and room comfort, breakfast is simple but very good, the establishment is located about fifteen minutes from the airport and is served by a shuttle system (Uber is faster for a SIM price).
I recommend this Hotel for transfer only because it is well located and close to the airport but the area is not equipped with shops or curiosities
GGuest UserHotel was fine but not amazing given the price point. It was the weird interaction at checkout that makes me concerned to recommend to anyone. I wanted to take a photo of the lobby and I was told that I was not allowed to. I have never ever experienced this at any of the hundreds of hotel I’ve stayed at nor did the Fasano Boa Vista or Fasano Punta del Este have similar policies.
GGuest UserMax Savassi is a great place to stay and I would really recommend it for anyone looking to stay in a popular neighborhood in Beaga. To me, the breakfast is the best part of the hotel. The rooms are nice as well, although there are few minor details here and there that I think could be improved to make the room that I had feel more luxurious / premium.
LlarafmThe room was a bit smaller than the previous one stayed, with quite worn out furniture, bedsheets and towels. AC was good, bathroom size was alright as well. The breakfast was the highlight, with great options and many local delicacies. Super well located, near a shopping mall at a walking distance and many famous pubs just across the street.
