Hotels With Parking in Kyrenia District, Cyprus

I want to begin by saying that the bar staff, pool staff, cleaners etc. are the friendliest, most welcoming people and so this review does not reflect on them at all. So we booked for 2 adults and 1 child (13years) through trip.com. After an overnight flight and being extremely tired, we finally arrived at reception to be told that no, we had only booked for 2 adults. We quickly showed the reception staff our email which said '2 adults, 1 child (13years)'. The man on reception told us that there was a comma and not a plus sign and so that meant that it wasn't plus 1 child. This completely baffled as why would the email have a child and age if not booked regardless of commas/+ signs and we continued to insist that we had booked for all of us. After some back and forth, he decided to ring the manager who promptly said that it wasn't something she would accept and that we would have to pay extra for our child. The man told us this and said that as we hadn't booked through the hotel, this wasn't his problem and that I could take it up with trip.com. Now, 2 flights, no sleep and the fact that I have various conditions that effect my mental health so much that I am registered disabled, I admit I responded harshly at this point. How can you advertise through a 3rd party website, be shown the confirmation, and still tell paying customers that this is your problem, not mine? Even if this were true, wouldn't a more appropriate response be 'You clearly have a booking and have come a long way, let's get you settled in a room and then we can either contact trip.com or help you contact them to get this sorted out'? I then asked to speak to the manager myself- the member of staff phoned her but she refused to come to the phone and said if we were unhappy, to cancel our booking and then shut the phone. Cancel and go where with what money? Were we supposed to walk back to London in order to have somewhere safe to sleep? There was no budge and around an hour after arrival, we were told by trip.com to pay the extra and they would refund us. Kudos to them, we were refunded within 2 days and they were extremely helpful. After all of this, there were so many issues with the hotel itself - street digs in the pool, ceiling in living room crumbling and falling, dirty sheets and tiles, the shower flooded every day and at one point was a waterfall down the stairs into the living room and we had to use wvery towel we had to soak it all up, ants everywhere, the list is endless and I have added pictures so people can see it for themselves. I am so disappointed the whole experience was an absolute shambles. To top it all off, I was telling a friend who lives in Cyprus and he knew the owner. He phoned the owner to tell him and the next day we were offered a free meal as an apology - so just because I had a contact, and the owner told you off, you give me a gesture of goodwill? What if I hadn't known anyone, would this gesture have even existed? Or would you have just told us it wasn't your problem? We refused. Disgraceful.

The room and price were good, but I had trouble finding my room as it was far from the front desk. I should have been escorted to my room.

Nestled close to Kyrenia's center, this hotel presents a mixed experience for visitors. Displaying signs of aging in both its restaurants and rooms, the establishment may not cater to those seeking modern amenities. Parking proves to be a challenge, particularly for latecomers, with limited spaces available. The breakfast, while satisfactory, lacks the wow factor. Nevertheless, the hotel makes up for it with a prime location, offering easy access to the city center. Despite its dated charm, this accommodation option provides reasonable rates, making it a suitable choice for budget-conscious travelers willing to compromise on certain aspects of comfort and modernity.

The location was very convenient, especially if you want to be close to the bank and the city centre. However, the hotel didn't provide water or a kettle, so I had to ask for tea or coffee each time. Inside, there weren't many facilities, so it might be perfect if you're planning to spend most of your time outside and just use the hotel to sleep. The cleaners can be quite loud in the mornings, and even when I put the sign out for my room to be cleaned, no one noticed. General it was a nice hotel with friendly stuff but regarding facilities I hope they can improve

The wedding was said to have not been paid, despite having booked a couple of hotels, and they were waited for a long time, and this was not compensated, unfortunately, for the service sector, we made a shameful situation months ago and the credit card is out of us. proving the situation about 1-1.5 hour later was resolved a very sad situation tragedy (.) 

Make sure to book Building 4, as it's the newest and recently renovated. Always opt for a deluxe room (Buildings 1, 2, and 3 are older). The hotel boasts an excellent central location with a supermarket downstairs. Diagonally across from the supermarket, there's an owl-recommended restaurant that serves delicious food 👍 at fair prices with friendly staff ❤️. About 50 meters from this restaurant, towards the main intersection, you'll find a fantastic dessert 🍮 and coffee ☕️ shop called ”Mine.” Additionally, you can walk 🚶‍♀️ from the hotel to the castle 🏰 and KIBHAS (the bus 🚌 station for airport transfers and Kyrenia) in about 15 minutes. The castle and bus station are conveniently located on opposite sides of the road, one on the left and one on the right, which is very handy.

The staff is friendly and attentive, but they are insufficient in number. Even though we made our reservation on July 5, we were told that the reservation was not confirmed and the payment was pending. We made a one-night deposit. 1 day later, they said that the money was paid and the deposit was refunded to us.

Merit park was great as always, the comfort of our home in Kyrenia is irreplaceable. The staff is always there for you, the service is great, the food is nice, the room is clean, the facilities are unlimited, ****** is nice, what else can you ask for.. Merit quality is not surprising..

The hotel was in a very good location. Of course it is difficult to reach by car because it is right in the inner part of the port. Our room was initially on the side that did not face the port, but since the rooms were also available, we switched to the part that faced the port by paying the difference. The upper and lower floors of the rooms are not spacious. If you consider that you are outside from morning to night, it does not affect you much. However, the bathroom and toilet are problematic, very narrow, it is not possible to take a shower or use the toilet comfortably. It is the perfect place for those with claustrophobia. The lower floor and upper floor were the same. The bases were old, making noise and even squeaking. We stayed as a couple in terms of towels, but I think they expected us to dry off with the same towel. The furniture is quite old. The windows are old, they pass sound and air in a windy environment. The air conditioners were good. It worked. The breakfast is neither too little nor too much, 2 types of cheese, salad, tomato, olive oil, jam, eggs are average. Of course, if there is a historical building in the style of a boutique hotel, it may be difficult to make a renovation. But you can eat in Kyrenia Port and then go to the hotel easily.

The location of the hotel is very good. The sea is crystal clear. Activities for children fill the whole day. The staff is friendly but the number of staff is not enough for the guests. The cleaning is of medium quality. The food is delicious and the varieties are sufficient. The aqua parks are sufficient for children.
