The bedsheets had visible stains, which was quite disappointing and made the bed feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. For a hotel stay, I would expect the bedsheets to be clean and properly inspected before the room is given to guests. I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping standards and ensure that stained linens are replaced promptly.

The location is quite convenient. They upgraded me to a family room, even though I didn't really need it as I was traveling alone. What I don't understand is why the shower dispenser had lotion instead of conditioner; that needs improvement. Breakfast was very rich and there was plenty to eat: bread, noodles, chicken, fish, vegetables, fried rice, coffee, and juice.

A lil bit annoying from the toilet. Making sound like someone knocking, from the pipeline. My kids feel a lil bit terrified from that sound. Is that a common sound there? But overall, its a very satisfying accomodation. my kids enjoy with the pool. Charlie, I came across one or two Charlie ants in the toilet and sauna room.

We had a wonderful stay at Lone Pine Penang! Everything was great from start to finish. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the hotel was beautiful, and the location was perfect. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the facilities, the ambience and especially the beautiful beachfront view. Everything was well taken care of and made our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Lone Pine Penang. We’ll definitely come back again!

The room was really unique and interesting, an experience I'd never had before. The location is excellent too; you can walk to all the nearby photo-op spots, and the closest restaurants are all delicious. Walking to Clan Jetties is also no problem. The free bus stop is just across the street, which is super convenient. I highly recommend staying here for both the ambiance and location. The Indian staff members at the hotel were all very friendly and would greet us proactively. We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM, right after our flight. One of the staff members said we could check-in early at 1:30 PM, so we left our luggage at the front desk and went out for lunch, thinking we could come back, change, and head out for some sightseeing and photos. However, when we returned at the appointed time, a different female staff member told us we couldn't check in until 2:30 PM. I simply mentioned that I was previously told we could check in at 1:30 PM, and she immediately became upset, telling me not to pressure or rush her. To accommodate her mood, my family of three quietly sat with her in the lobby for half an hour. After that, she simply announced that it was time to check in, without having received any calls or anything – it was just the scheduled time. All the other staff members at this hotel were very enthusiastic, but she was always unhappy and gave us a cold shoulder whenever we saw her. I hope she can find some happiness. I understand that the official check-in time is 3 PM. I was just trying to discuss an earlier check-in. If I had been told from the start that early check-in wasn't possible, I would have taken a taxi to a more distant area to explore and returned later. Travel time is limited, and I want to plan my trips more efficiently, not waste time waiting in a hotel lobby to check in. I'm not here to accompany her at work, and I hope she can be more professional and consider the needs of travelers. I really hope other guests staying here don't encounter her; everything else was perfect.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel for several days, and overall, my experience was very satisfying. From the moment I arrived until check-out, the service provided by the hotel staff was highly professional, friendly, and helpful. The front desk staff greeted me with smiles and clearly explained the available facilities. The hotel's location is also one of its main advantages. It's strategically situated and easily accessible. There are various amenities nearby, such as restaurants, convenience stores, shopping malls, and public transport stations. This made my travels much easier, as I didn't have to spend a lot of time moving from one place to another. The room provided was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. As soon as I entered, I felt a calm and pleasant atmosphere. The bed was incredibly soft and provided quality sleep throughout my stay. Furthermore, the air conditioning worked well, the room lighting was sufficient, and the interior design looked modern and neat. Facilities like a television, safe, mini-fridge, electric kettle, and Wi-Fi connection were all in good working order. The hotel's cleanliness level was also very satisfying. The bathroom was always clean, the floors were well-maintained, and toiletries were fully provided. The towels were clean and regularly replaced by housekeeping. I also found public areas like the lobby, corridors, and elevators to be consistently tidy and well-kept. Regarding food, the breakfast offered a relatively diverse selection. There were local and international dishes suitable for various tastes. Food was constantly refilled, and the restaurant staff always ensured the dining area was clean. The food quality and taste were also satisfactory. While there are some menu items that could be improved, overall, the dining experience at this hotel was good. Other facilities provided also added value to my stay. The swimming pool was clean and suitable for the whole family. The fitness center was also equipped with sufficient basic equipment for daily workouts. Additionally, the stable internet access made it easy for me to handle work matters and stay connected with family and friends throughout my time at the hotel. What I appreciated most was the hotel staff's readiness to assist. All my questions and requests were handled quickly and professionally. They demonstrated a high level of customer service and always strived to ensure guests felt comfortable during their stay. However, there were a few minor things that could be improved. These include slightly long elevator wait times during peak hours and somewhat limited parking options when the hotel is full. Nevertheless, these issues did not significantly impact my overall experience. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The combination of a strategic location, comfortable rooms, high cleanliness standards, good food, and friendly service from the staff makes this hotel an excellent choice for both leisure and business travel. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family, friends, and anyone looking for comfortable and quality accommodation. If I have the opportunity in the future, I will definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

I had a truly satisfying experience. First, let's talk about the location. There's a night market right downstairs. For breakfast, there's an excellent coffee shop nearby that serves Kaya toast and local specialties at reasonable prices – perfect for a morning meal. The night market offers a great variety of local food options for dinner, which is a fantastic experience. The hotel is also conveniently located for exploring all the attractions in George Town, whether you choose to walk or take a Grab. Now, a special mention for the hotel itself. Everything from the ambiance, room layout, and especially the concierge service and the professionalism of the staff, was outstanding. Although the rooms show their age, they are incredibly clean, well-maintained, and smartly designed. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I highly recommend booking here. If I visit Penang again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Many thanks to the hotel for their thoughtful, attentive, and professional service!

I didn’t really enjoy my stay here, I found the labyrinth of corridors could be confusing, and something off about the layout of the room.  One of the neighbouring rooms had a party one night, so I didn’t get enough sleep; the location is alright, walking distance from anywhere in Georgetown, but nothing specific.   The breakfast was underwhelming in my opinion, lacking protein options - just the eggs really, frankfurters don’t count.  I think I’ll try elsewhere in Penang if I go back.

Had a really lovely stay at Angsana Hotel for our honeymoon! ❤️ The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, which made us feel really comfortable throughout our stay. The room was beautiful, clean, and cosy — exactly what we needed for a relaxing honeymoon. We also requested a little honeymoon setup, and they actually prepared it for us. We were so happy and really appreciated the effort! 🥰 It made our stay feel extra special. Overall, everything was great and definitely worth the money. This hotel is an excellent introduction to Penang as it was for me on my first day in town exploring and getting to know the main city area. Close to downtown center the hotel provides an ideal location for explorers who want to be close to all the major sites Penang has to offer. In the immediate area is George Town with venues including the Clan Jetties, UNESCO heritage sites, Armenian Street and a vast array of street art all worth stopping to visit. The hotel itself is clean and tidy with helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help accommodate me upon my early arrival (holding my luggage until check in time). The room was comfortable and for amenities there was an onsite laundry room that helped ensured traveler like me had the opportunity to refresh their baggage for the next adventures ahead. As a heads up to future travelers: the hotel is located near some stunning mosques that although were great to visit, do have prayer sessions throughout the day and night which all hotel travelers can clearly hear in their rooms. Not recommended for light sleepers or anyone who minds the sound. Overall the hotel was a great place to start my Penang stay and exploration.
