Everything is good. We arrive around 3am, just need a place to sleep n rest. Book family room, bed is comfy, aircond cold. Bathroom was ok n quite luas. My baby love it. Breakfast was good.

Had always been contemplating whether or not to try G Hotel Kelawai. Bit the bullet and here's my review; Room is spacious and comfortable, bed is top notch. Free minibar (replenished daily) is a plus. Swimming pool is nice although a bit shallow, and Gravity is a nice place to chill at night with view overlooking the island and Bukit Bendera. Is it worth the money? Yes. Location? Perfect. It'd be hard to find another hotel in Penang that checks all my boxes, and this could be it.

I was a little underwhelmed when I got to my suit as it looked nothing like the photos really. It just wasn’t pink enough. I expected it to be full on pink but it was rather subtle. Dare I say too subtle! However the room did grow on me and I had a comfortable stay. Bed and pillows were excellent and the towels were nice, as was the bath lah. I would stay again for sure.

My overall stay at the hotel was truly wonderful! From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, the hospitality extended to me was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my trip. One of the biggest highlights is the strategic location, perfectly situated with easy access to key attractions, and restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for both leisure and business travelers. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. I especially appreciated the classic charm of the hotel, which added a touch of timeless elegance to the entire experience. Whether you’re visiting for work or holiday, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, great location, and overall value. I will definitely be back!

First of all, a big thank you to Mr. Vickneswaran from the security team for his warm guidance and assistance from the moment we entered the auto parking system. He was incredibly helpful in showing us where to go and made us feel very welcomed right from the start. To my surprise, one of the staff members even shared a piece of cake and wished us a wonderful honeymoon vacation—such a thoughtful gesture! (I was so touched, I forgot to ask for the staff’s name.) Moments like these really made our stay memorable. Overall, the staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and made us feel appreciated throughout our visit. I’ve also included a photo of the lovely card greeting we received from the team—another sweet touch that we’ll always remember. Thank you again to the whole team for making our honeymoon start with such warm hospitality!

I’m a frequent traveller. I have been staying in a wide range of accommodations/lodging from 1 to 5 ⭐ in many countries. I can assure you that I have a more wonderful experience staying in a hostel in Europe than in Park Royal Penang Resort. What’s more disappointing is that I experienced this in my own country. Made 2 separate bookings (different dates on different sites) and I took my time to contact them much earlier to get them to combine my bookings. They replied me and assured that they were duly noted, will do the necessary to make sure a smooth check-in process for me. On the day of checking in, I once again informed the staff that i have contacted them, first thing when she greeted me. Thought she checked it in their system but she didn’t inform me that she just checked me in for only one day - that I have to go down to the counter again the next day to recheck in. Luckily, i noticed it just 30mins before 12pm on the second day itself. Their staff double standards treatment towards us guests was too obvious by the way they greet us local (at least me & my mom) and foreign tourists. Room standard was just mediocre and did not even reach the level of a 3star hotel hygiene & cleanliness in Thailand. A hotel lobby didn’t even smells like a hotel lobby. Checkout experience- no one of their staff cared to ask if we needed assistance, because they were busy assisting a group of foreign guests loading their bags into the van. Overall, i came to ParkRoyal Penang with the highest hope to experience the best stay with my family and i left deeply disappointed.

Great location! Nearby have lots of nice food. The room is quite small and cleanliness, not really up to expectation, but the front desk solves it well. Overall, it is still a cost effective accommodation .

StaffS are friendly and helpful. Good location , opposite is First Avenue , one street away from Lebuh Pengrave. Walking distance to Armenian Street and Campbell Street. There are plenty of parking spaces, the only sad thing could be their EV charging station under repairing. The room is clean and bright, which I feel very comfy with to stay within this period. They also have water dispensers, which are very convenient for us. The only cons could be the soundproofing not really good, which I can clearly hear the other guests' conversation beside the room. Overall, it is great choice of accommodation for George Town. Strategic location, bright&clean room,plenty of parking spaces, and good choices of breakfast.

We book triple room and it was perfect. It has all amenities like coffee 3 in 1 sachets, water kettle, hair dryer , disposable toothbrush and fridge. At night we have a good sleep despite muffled sound from karaoke pub nearby. Parking is free in level 1 and 2. However when checking out from basement, no security guard there during lunch hour to help us scan barcode. The scanner is hard to detect paper barcode . We have to blindly scan for 1 min. This is 1 star for parking. If the receptionist can teach us how to scan..there is 2 paper barcode to scan. Overall it is good value of money.
