Thank you, because it was a truly memorable one-night stay. This little hotel is a gem in beautiful San Vito Lo Capo. The property is impeccably maintained, brand new, well-furnished, and clean. But I believe it's the people who make the difference, and this hotel is run by a truly welcoming family, and their staff are all exceptionally kind and helpful! I'm sorry I only stayed one night, but I definitely know where to return next time! Our room, number 8, was truly beautiful! Don't miss breakfast; the desserts are all homemade by the owner and are delicious! Thanks again for everything, including the very useful information for our road trip! See you next time!

The hotel presidential suite is basically the entire fake impeccable. The room has its own swimming pool, two bedrooms, high privacy and high level of service. The hotel spa is also worth a visit, just to relax after swimming. The hotel has a private beach. Upon check-in, a free island cruise is provided, and a shuttle service up and down the mountain is provided. The bar in the hotel is more surprising than the restaurant, there will be band performances at night, and you must try their pizza. 🔔Service: Top 🧹Hygiene: Top 🍃Environment: Facing the sea, the best location on the island 🚗 Transportation: Everything can be arranged by the hotel. There is a taxi stand at the door, there are also taxis, and airport shuttle services are arranged 【water sports】 【Popular Hot Search】

The location and the view of the hotel are impeccable and the rooms have unrivaled sea and mountain views. The facilities are actually very good, but the strange bathroom shower head design makes the bath extremely awkward. The hotel is the old grand theatre, and it is the town that continues to go down. The distances are just right. The beach is not good, but the beaches in southern Italy are the same. It is the kind of large-grained sandstone beach, which is very ground. The only thing that I feel dissatisfied is that the Italians are really too playable. The party is still playing music loudly at 12:30 in the evening. It is not a complaint that it is estimated that it will not be closed several times. Parking is also a bit difficult, we all parked in the parking lot lumbi garage about 2 km away, and then take the shuttle bus, convenient.

We spent a fantastic week in this hotel. It was amazing to have direct access to a beautiful private beach as well as an infinity pool. There were plenty of loungers to relax. The location was great, right on the sea side and close to the train station. The shuttle service provided by the hotel that takes you into Taormina was also excellent. The staff were all super friendly too. However I felt that there was a lack of affordable meal options and the breakfast offering became monotonous after some days. Overall a very special place that I look forward to returning to one day.

The location is on the hillside of the ancient city, with the ancient castle in the background. You can see the ancient Greek theater on the top floor, and it is only a 1-minute walk to the central street of the ancient city. The room facilities are modern and generally superior rooms are relatively small and suitable for one person. You can see the sunrise from the balcony room.

Mercure hotel although out of Ortigia out town enjoys a very nice location next to the archeological site and next to regional bus stops that take you to cities like Noto. The pool on the rooftop is clean and well maintained and the reception is nice and welcoming. The rooms are cool with floor to ceiling window bays and the breakfast on the rooftop is heavenly especially with the fresh ricotta and cannelloni. This is for me the must be in hotel when in Siracusa.

Very good hotel, great sea view, large hotel, rich breakfast. Convenient transportation, airport bus goes directly to the hotel, a few minutes walk to the hotel. It's about 20-30 minutes walk from the food street and bar street, a good place to be quiet in the hustle and bustle. The bus fare to Taormina is 2 euros, or you can choose the sightseeing bus for 16 euros per person/24 hours, which will go to nearby attractions. Highly recommended to everyone

Great resort hotel! Beautiful environment, complete facilities, swimming pool, playground, health room, beach... The beach is not very good, but the seaside scenery is very good, from the beach to the west you can see the Etna volcano. There are two restaurants for breakfast, but we only went to one for four days, and the Western breakfast was very rich. If you go to Sicily next time, you will choose to stay at this hotel.

It was a pleasant stay. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Wide selection of food from the breakfast buffet. There was a play room for kids and of course the swimming pool. Good location not far from the town center and from the beach. Well recommended! Hope to stay there again.

First and foremost, a 4-star hotel should have an insulation system. We basically could even hear the room next door opening their luggage.. awful. Apart from that (which is a big minus), the pool is cool, parking is free, staff friendly, breakfast decent. Food options are pricey and limited.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nice, clean, the staff is pleasant. The room doesn’t really have a view, but there is a nice terrace at the hotel overlooking the sea, we only slept in the room. The breakfast was good, I didn’t like the coffee. There is a store nearby.

AAurora PietrosantiMy companion and I wanted to give a trip to Sicilia, Palermo, Agrigento and Catania. At Agrigento was impossible not to go to see the Valle dei Templi, so we chose this hotel, we were enthusiastic about all the points, the structure is excellent but perhaps the people working on it are the most, They were very kind and very friendly. They knew to answer any question with expertise, and then the dinner, which I could say, great, I didn't imagine the restaurant of a hotel was like that! The care in the pieces served is certainly 10, they have a cook or cook beyond any expectation, I repeat not only in cooking, but in serving, advising, telling and explaining the pieces, It was not only good food but also aware that the gentlemen of the servicemen had been able to tell simple foods. In the future we will come back to you

GGuest UserIf I could give this place 20/10 for service, I would. When we arrived at the location, we were in a complete state of panic as we thought we had been scammed by the gas station up the road. After checking us in (a few hours early), the receptionist kindly accompanied us back to the gas station and helped us translate between Italian and English, clarifying the misunderstanding of the situation. This was exceptional service and kindness we were not expecting. The room itself was incredibly luxurious - we actually had 2 bedrooms (family suite) for 2 people. The walk-in wardrobe was a delightful surprise, although we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it. As we were both working while on holiday, the study desk in each room gave us the privacy and space to do our meetings and work independently. The bar fridge was useful for us to store our salads, snacks and bottled drinks. The bed was super comfortable and we had a very restful sleep. The pillows were also the right height. Thankfully, there was air conditioning - our previous hotel did not. We slept like babies. The bathroom had all the amenities, including a hairdryer which is essential for me. Best for last - breakfast the next morning was an absolute feast. The continental style breakfast spread was generous and we indulged in pastries, yogurt, fresh fruits and marvellous coffee. I believe everything is baked fresh in house. As we checked out, we were even gifted a bag of pastries to take on our journey with us. <3 I highly recommend this place, and I am ever grateful to the wonderful hospitality we enjoyed here.

AAntonioOverlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.  The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.  This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

SshittalkerExcellent Stay with Great Location and Stunning Views I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—just a 16-minute walk from the train station and about 15-20 minutes on foot to the island’s main attractions. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean, with the added bonus of being close to the sea. It even had two balconies, allowing us to enjoy the lovely views and fresh air. What made our stay even better was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always welcoming and went out of their way to assist us whenever needed. Here’s an updated version of your review that includes the negative aspects while maintaining a balanced and professional tone: --- **Great Location & Beautiful Room, but Noise Can Be an Issue** I had a mostly pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—just a **16-minute walk from the train station** and **15-20 minutes to the island’s main attractions**. The room itself was **spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated**, with the added benefit of being **close to the sea** and featuring **two balconies**. The staff were also **very friendly and helpful**, which enhanced our experience. However, there was one major downside: the walls are extremely thin. We could easily hear noises from the hallway and stairwell. On our last night, the neigh-boring room was very loud, which disrupted our sleep and unfortunately put a damper on an otherwise great trip.

GGuest UserCheck-in took two minutes, the receptionist was very professional. We got the key and clear instructions to our room, and the wifi password. The room was functional, but good enough for the purposes. The bed was large enough and comfortable. The room's windows faced the water, and we enjoyed seeing the ferry from the balcony when we opened the window. The room also had a working desk which was good, as we needed space to do some computer work. The bathroom amenities were ample, and we had plenty of fresh linen. Breakfast the next morning was a HUGE spread. Among all the hotels we stayed in Sicily, this one had the most food on offer. The waiter at the coffee station was commendable - we ordered a hot chocolate and the effort he put into making the perfect cup just made our day. I want to make a special mention to the lady at reception. I left my passport in the room after we checked out, and didn't realise it until over an hour later. I rang in a state of panic and she calmly reassured me that they had found it and she was holding on to it for me. Despite the slight language barrier, she communicated compassion perfectly. When I reached the hotel, she handed it over with the kindest smile, and that immediately dialled down my stress levels. 5/5 is not high enough for the service rating of this place, I would give them 10/5 if I could. And the lady at the front desk needs a promotion.

JJessica AnneMy room was in the basement, and the first floor (seemed like maybe staff moving furniture around?) was very noisy after midnight. Lots of footsteps, talking, and the sound of moving furniture. It went on for hours both nights. I was also woken up at 8am my first day by someone knocking on my door. I assume it was the maid, but i can’t be sure. It was way too early to expect to be able to clean a room. The bed was hard and creaky (there were three beds in my room, not sure why as I booked a room with a single queen bed) with no real blanket. It was fairly clean, though there was some hair in the sink and shower that did not belong to me. The shower was the biggest problem as it was a fairly narrow stall shower, and the drain needs to be cleaned out - the shower flooded after just a few minutes. The furniture is all very old, and the lighting in the room was incredibly dim. It did not feel inviting or look anything like the pictures in the listing. The location is nearly an hour’s walk from Palermo Centrale and in another direction, nearly an hour’s walk from the Palazzo Butera. Unless you just want to visit the beach, it is not convenient at all. Even just buying water was a chore with the closest shop being about a quarter mile away. The city tax listed on Trip is incorrect. You will need to pay three euros per day. Overall, I would not stay here again.

GGuest UserThe hotel was not obvious for us - when we arrived, we drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a sign before parking on the wrong side of the road, and having to call for instructions. It was our fault, as the hotel tried contacting us earlier in the day but we did not have signal to take the call. Once we were instructed to the right place, it was super straightforward as Gianluca buzzed us in remotely, and upon verifying ID, let us into the unit and our bedroom. The lift in the building was super cool - for this experience alone I recommend staying in this hotel. The room was charming. Our previous hotel was a suite so this felt a bit small, but it was homely all the same. The small downside was how warm it felt in the room. The air conditioning wouldn't work with the windows open, but it wasn't running very strong. At night, we preferred keeping the window open for some fresh air instead. The poster bed added a quaint and romantic feel to the room, and we were absolutely spoilt with a surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as a gift! Of course, the highlight of the whole place was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. As we both had to do some work and also were tired from a road trip, all of these little touches made the stay in this hotel incredibly luxurious for us. I really recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.

WWensiboWe picked Antico Borgo Etneo for a weekend getaway with friends – me and my Italian partner, two Chinese friends, and their 5-year-old daughter. We arrived with no big expectations and left with a promise to come back. The place has that authentic charm that makes you feel at home right away, nestled among citrus groves and vineyards with a stunning view of Mount Etna. The rooms are simple but cozy, clean, and with that rustic vibe that really works. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise: homemade cakes, jams made from local fruit, and freshly squeezed juices – a perfect energy boost to start the day. The little one had a blast running around the garden, and we adults enjoyed some much-needed relaxation under the trees. The location is great for exploring the area: Taormina, the Alcantara Gorges, and the beaches are all just a short drive away. In short: no over-the-top luxury, but genuine hospitality and an atmosphere that makes you slow down and enjoy every moment. Perfect for those who want authenticity without the frills. We’ll definitely be back – maybe in summer to make the most of the outdoor spaces.
