Hotels With Parking in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan

I was a bit worried about the room facilities based on previous reviews, but after checking in, I found everything to be great. The breakfast, however, didn't quite live up to its price point, though it was certainly satisfying.

I stayed for one nights. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were all very friendly and made for a very comfortable stay. They also gave me detailed information about recommended restaurants in the area. The large public bath was also very spacious, and from the open-air bath I could see the mountain stream through the trees. The sound of the water and the clear air were truly soothing. I expect the cold weather will continue in Yamanaka Onsen for the foreseeable future, so please take care of yourselves, and I hope all the staff members take good care of themselves.

The hotel's overall design is stunning, and the traditional Japanese ambiance envelops you from the moment you step through the door. The use of gold, red, and black makes the entire hotel feel elegant, dignified, and luxurious. The products in the on-site gift shop are also very unique and beautiful, making you want to buy them, and they aren't even particularly expensive.

Very satisfied. Of the four hotels I stayed at in Japan this trip, this was my favorite. It's very close to the station, and there are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, convenience stores, and a McDonald's nearby. The best part is the free water and ice available on our floor, so my friend didn't have to go downstairs to buy ice or water for drinks, which was super convenient. My friend even wanted to just stay at this hotel and not leave! 😂 The only downside is that because it's so close to the station, you can hear Shinkansen trains at night, but it wasn't too bad.

We chose this hotel and never regretted it. The room on the high floor had a stunning view of winter Kanazawa. I bet there must be a better view from the restaurant on the roof top there. The station is only about 7-minute walk away. Everything in the hotel was wonderful. There were some comfortable chairs and a stunning fountain in the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with such a wide variety of food! My son loved the yuzu-flavored ice cream so much. After check-out my son couldn't find his power bank, by that time we had already moved on to another city, so we contacted the hotel manager. They searched everywhere in the hall where my son was sitting. Fortunately, later we found our power bank in his belongings. However, the hotel manager kept in touch with us via email untill we solved the problem.

This hotel is clearly showing its age and may not meet expectations for those looking for a more modern or well-maintained stay. While it carries the IHG branding, the overall experience feels dated. One of the main challenges was communication. The front desk staff had very limited English proficiency, making it difficult to get clear directions—especially regarding parking. Guests are required to go to the front desk to ask about parking arrangements, which is not very convenient. The signage outside is also misleading, and it’s easy to mistakenly park at a nearby open-air lot that charges ¥100 per 15 minutes or ¥1000 for 12 hours. The hotel’s designated parking is actually located in a shopping mall, which is not immediately obvious. The rooms themselves are quite old, with worn facilities. The bathroom had a noticeable musty smell, suggesting poor ventilation or maintenance. Amenities were basic—Dove toiletries were provided instead of the more commonly seen Pola brand in Japanese hotels. The air conditioning was also ineffective, which made the stay less comfortable. That said, the hotel does have one strong advantage: location. It is directly opposite Ōmichō Market, making it very convenient for exploring the market and enjoying a great local breakfast. Overall, this hotel may be suitable for travelers who prioritize location over comfort, but those expecting a smoother and more modern stay might want to consider other options.

Amazing stay. Very conveniently located just 5-10 min from the station. The room was spacious and well equipped, very comfortable. The only things to know are: it’s very close to the station so you will sometimes hear trains depending on your rooms location. The AC was also restricted during my stay so it would only stay at one temperature and you couldn’t make it colder. Other than that it was a great stay

The hotel is old and the room is clean but not well cleaned especially the corners of the room. The room is old and dull and the toilet smells bad. The balcony is covered with bamboo screen which make hard to see the outside. We can see the balcony is not well cleaned and the rooftop of the building is not well cleaned, too. If they clean the balcony and rooftop it will make a big difference. The fence at the balcony is worn out if they repainted it,it will be very beautiful seeing from the inside. I dont care if the building is old but they should keep it well cleaned and more presentable and im sure people will come again. The food is good and the bathing facilities is also good but its too hot no air at all, i didnt stay long because i cant breath i wish they open the window for fresh air to come. the atmosphere from the window the dried mold of the rooftop and the worn out of the balcony fence should be fix.The place is very quiet and you can really relax.The main entrance and ground floor is renovated and its nice and modern. The service is good too but the clerks are not lively they should be more cheerful. If the room is not dull and the balcony and rooftop is clean i want to stay again but sorry i wont stay here again. This was our first stop on our Ishikawa prefecture road trip. The hotel is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from the Shinkansen station, and the overnight parking fee of 1000 yen is very reasonable. There are also plenty of amenities nearby. The room itself was modern and spotless. They even had a capsule coffee machine, and the breakfast offered great value for money.

This hotel located exactly beside JR Kanazawa Sta. So if you want to go to Shirakawago by bus ( of course u have to reserved before ) it is easy to reach the bus station behind Kanazawa Sta. I choose this hotel also because I used Hokuriku pass which is passed by Kanazawa Sta. The room is like other 3 star hotel in Japan, not too big but enough if you bring top loading luggage.
