The view is great. It was great that there was all-you-can-drink alcohol in the lounge. The hot springs were clean and there was a sauna, and they also provided free ice cream, which was great. I think it would be even better if they could increase the number of places to get ice cream when it's busy (it's self-service, so there was a line).

This hotel is conveniently located directly across from Ise Station, visible as soon as you exit. Its prime location makes getting around by public transport incredibly easy for sightseeing. I stayed in the main building, where the front desk is on the second floor. It's a small space with a charming, old-school Japanese inn vibe. The room itself wasn't large, but that wasn't an issue since I was out exploring all day and only returned to sleep. The public bath is also on the second floor, perfect for relaxing after a full day of activities. Don't forget to grab a complimentary popsicle from outside the bath afterward! There are several dining options both downstairs and in the surrounding area, which should cover most needs. On check-out day, if you need to store your luggage, there are self-service lockers on the second floor where you can leave it and pick it up later after your excursions.

I wanted a hotel with an ocean view, so I made a reservation despite my misgivings, even though the reviews weren't that good. Many of the hotels in Ise-Shima and Toba are old and date back to the early Showa period, and newer hotels are quite expensive. This hotel is in a great location, and although it is old, it has been properly renovated, so it isn't too rundown, and my concerns were resolved. The tatami mats were nice and comfortable. It was a relief to be able to stay at this price, even though it is the largest facility in the area and a hotel with an ocean view. The hotel's souvenir shop is open late and has a wide selection, so it was really helpful to be able to buy souvenirs that I thought I wouldn't be able to buy at the hotel. I hope you continue to be a great hotel while making up for the aging. I will visit again. Thank you very much.

This was my first trip with Trip. The 40m2 room was reasonably priced and included breakfast. There was also a round outdoor bath, which I thought sounded nice, so I ordered it. The room was large and spacious. All the amenities were included, so I was very satisfied. However, there was no round bath. Also, although breakfast was included, it was just five pieces from the bakery for 380 yen, salad, corn soup, and cream cheese. When I ordered, it said breakfast was included, but the photo showed a round bath, so it was my first time and I was a little disappointed. Other than that, it was very nice.

Facilities: The hotel has a hot spring on the 4th floor, perfect for unwinding after a long day of travel. On the 3rd floor, there's the front desk, a coffee machine, and some toiletries you can help yourself to. Stayed in January 2025 | Hollywood Twin Room (Non-Smoking) Cleanliness: The hotel cleanliness is excellent, and the hot spring on the 3rd floor is also quite clean. Ambiance: The hotel seems to be 10 stories high in total, with guest rooms from the 4th to the 10th floor. Service: There's a Sri Lankan guy at the front desk who speaks perfect English. There's also a real-time translator at the front desk, so if you don't speak Japanese but know a bit of English, overall it shouldn't be a big problem.

I stayed for two nights, and the dinner menu changed on the second night, so I enjoyed it again. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, so I was satisfied and never got bored. The room with a view of Ago Bay was also comfortable.

Upon arriving at Toba Station a little past 6 PM, we couldn't locate the hotel shuttle bus as advised by the guide. Decided to call the hotel just to try our luck, and to our surprise, they immediately dispatched a private car to pick us up! Service was absolutely impeccable! 💯 The hotel's absolute standout feature has to be its hot springs! ♨️ Especially the unique Pearl Onsen – the only one in Japan infused with Mikimoto pearl powder. My skin felt incredibly soft and glowed after soaking. (A glass of milk after the onsen is a must – incredibly refreshing! *Personally, I prefer the fruit-flavored one.) Room Experience: We booked the most basic Japanese-style room (washitsu) and truly enjoyed the authentic experience of sleeping on traditional tatami mats. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome cheesecake 🍰 waiting for us in the fridge – absolutely delicious! All toiletries were exclusively Mikimoto branded, adding a definite touch of luxury and quality. (We even bought a set from the hotel shop before leaving – eligible for tax-free shopping!) 🥣 Breakfast was a classic Japanese set meal, served individually with no menu choices. The highlight, however, was the dining environment – private rooms! *Be bold and request a window-side private room. ❤️ Enjoying a refined breakfast in such a private setting, while gazing at the serene ocean view outside, was an incredibly soothing and delightful experience.

I made a reservation to go to the Tsu Fireworks Festival. It was about a 20-minute walk to the fireworks venue, so it was very convenient!! It's also nice that there are four types of private baths so you can relax in them. I'd love to stay here again when I come to Tsu!!

The room was good except for the bathroom and toilet. The facilities were clean and very good. The food was French at night and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The customer service was excellent as expected. This is a hotel I would definitely like to visit again.

We visited during Obon Festival, so hotels across Japan were pricier than usual. This hotel was perfectly situated close to Nagashima Spa Land, and getting there was easy with a direct bus from Kuwana. They offer complimentary coffee and snacks, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the entire place is spotlessly clean. A huge bonus, especially since we were traveling with two kids, was the availability of a triple room – something quite rare to find in Japan, especially during peak season.

GGuest UserHotel staff were very helpful and helped me find my way around the local area. Unfortunately, the hotel was very dated, and wasn't as clean as I would have liked. My room was a non-smoking room but there was a definite smell of tobacco in the room which can be quite sickly especially with the air conditioning pumping the smell around.

KKennyDuring my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks. One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness. Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel. Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay. In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

NNaoIt was good to have a large room with an ocean view and a relaxing room. However, it was very conspicuous that the manners of the public bath users were too bad. Even though there is a ban on the use of tattoos at the entrance, a child who has a tattoos is used, a child who starts a swimming tournament at a hot spring, and a mother who doesn't pay attention to it. We do not recommend using the hot springs around 21:00 after meals. Since there is no key in the shoe locker, I was in trouble because there was no slippers in the building where I put them when I returned. I felt that I would like you to improve the tattoo notes, such as locking the shoe locker.

SSmilexiaojiebuaipashanMie Prefecture is a relatively remote and rural place, but Toba, Ise and Shima are still worth visiting. Todaya Hotel exceeded my expectations. I thought it was just an ordinary local Japanese-style hotel, but it turned out to be very large, with two buildings, a large public bath, an open-air bath, and several free private baths for families. There are quite a few medals at the front desk. The room size is not large among Japanese-style rooms, but it is more spacious than ordinary modern rooms. Western-style beds are also more comfortable. The dinner was quite rich, with both Japanese and Western flavors, and the freshly roasted beef was delicious. Breakfast is on the top floor of the South Building, facing the sea, with a great view. There are also many dining options. Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium are nearby. When you check in, you will see the last name or first name of each room occupant on the welcome board at the hotel entrance. It is quite interesting to find your own name.

AAnonymous UserRoom was spacious enough for 3 adults (the room is meant for 4 adults). Bathroom is surprisingly spacious and the toilet is separated. Water pressure is good too. It's more like a mini studio apartment, there's a mini bar, a kitchen sink and microwave as well. There's a laundry area in the hotel but we didn't check that out. Parking space is available for those that are driving. Location wise, it's quiet and about 10 mins walk from Iseshi station. There's a Lawson convenience store just 2 mins walk away. To take note: 1. The bedsheets had some stain. It's probably washed but the stain was still there. 2. The window behind the bed has no curtain and the sun rises pretty early. So it's super bright, however they do provide eye mask for you. 3. There's no luggage storage or luggage delivery services available. 4. No breakfast option and the town has limited options. All in all, was a good stay. Would recommend.

ZZenix KWhile it's a bit far, and the bus ride up and down the mountain takes half an hour each day, with the last bus leaving around 6 PM and the first at 9:55 AM, which is a bit inconvenient, the scenery is truly stunning. This is the best value among the nearby hotels! Just plan your trip in advance.
