I came here with friends, and the various winding paths and buildings within the scenic area were really interesting. We could explore for a long time, and there were photo opportunities everywhere. We also got to breathe fresh air and enjoy the natural scenery. Xian Su (the hotel name) was generally in good condition, very clean, and the service was attentive. There were staff members to help with luggage, and the staff within the scenic area wouldn't let any lost-looking tourist go by without proactively asking them where they were headed.

I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets. 2. Facilities & Amenities: The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay. 3. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables. 4. Service: The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. 5. Location: The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city. The Drawbacks: 1. Room Size: While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped. 2. Limited Dining Options: While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery. 3. Noise: Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers. Who It’s Best For:

Hoping for a better night view experience, I booked the Zixiao duplex room with a slide at Yangxian Village almost half a month in advance. The check-in speed and front desk service response were very timely, the environment was great, and the soundproofing was pretty good! Although the bathroom drain was blocked and water seeped back, it was resolved quickly, so the overall feeling was still okay! I even overlooked minor issues like my elderly family member complaining about the noisy dehumidifier at midnight, which led me to unplug the main power. In the subsequent follow-up, I gave a very satisfactory response. However, shortly after, I received a call from the hotel asking if I had touched the dehumidifier, saying that a screw had fallen off, causing the fan blades to stop rotating completely. They asked again if I had touched it. I stated that I had only unplugged the main power, and I saw a 'Please do not move' sticker on it, so I didn't dare to touch it. Furthermore, the white fan blades weren't moving the first time I squatted down to look for the power cord. Although the customer service repeatedly stated that they were just verifying the situation and there would be no subsequent accountability, it still left a bad taste in my mouth. From a tourist's perspective, I still don't understand why such a noisy dehumidifier would be placed in the room. It really affected my rest (or perhaps it was actually quiet before and only became noisy because it was already broken?). Of course, this is just a minor flaw. If not for that phone call afterward, I probably wouldn't have even mentioned this little incident... If the experience were rated out of 10, deducting this minor flaw, I'd give it 9.5 points!

We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!

We had a fantastic stay, arrival is straightforward, a shuttle service at the entry gate brings you to the check-in lobby and helpful staff were available to support moving our suitcases to rooms. We had a wonderful butler Xiaohui who initiated all communication via weChat app providing us with guidance, tips and time schedules for various activities which made our stay smooth. Thank you very much for checking in on us regularly during our short stay we appreciate this. Highly recommend this hotel especially if you are a larger family or group given the close proximity to the carparking and shuttle service which really helped (lot of steps once you venture into the touristy areas). Room was great, good AC, standard towels provided (this is sometimes a concern to travellers), clothes steamer was provided upon request. Breakfast was a mix of western and eastern choices with one or two interesting active stations for cuisine options. For foreign tourists visiting this area, weChat and Alipay are crucial alongside Google Translate. The beautiful village lights turn off at midnight, so becomes a photographer paradise once day trip tourists disappear and the vilage landscape becomes yours. The environment here is truly amazing, with an atmosphere that brings a sense of peace. The room was spacious and clean, and the underfloor heating and radiators were incredibly effective! My absolute favorite was the tatami next to the bed; I dozed off there happily several times… it was so toasty. Of course, the bed itself was also very comfortable. Then, every morning when I woke up for breakfast, the responsible young man would softly and kindly ask what I'd like to eat and drink. Afterwards, the uncles and aunties in the kitchen would prepare it for you. It's all very home-style food, which is really comforting. Everyone here is so kind and friendly 🥹. Every day, I'd go 'bother' the golden retriever, 'Fugui,' who is super cute and affectionate. Playing with him for a bit before going to pottery class was also incredibly therapeutic. The late-night desserts were delicious too: peach gum stewed with white fungus, fresh milk taro balls with peach gum, purple sweet potato stewed with peach gum – a peach gum lover's dream! And the owner is super nice, oh my god… I had originally booked two nights at Wujing and one night at Wuji, but when I arrived, they actually upgraded us to three nights at Wujie! Ahhh, I'm so grateful 🥹. It was so comfortable that I ended up booking an extra night because I really didn't want to leave! I definitely want to come back next time I have a holiday!!!

The hotel is located within Mount Sanqing, requiring a drive up the mountain, close to the Waishuangxi cable car. Since we had to return the same day, we chose the Jinsha cable car, which was about a 40-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel's facilities are really old. The towels were thin and damaged, the hairdryer switch didn't work, the hand soap dispenser was empty, and the toilet seat was wooden, like something from over a decade ago. Choosing the mountain view balcony was a bit of a mistake; the mountain was right in front of us, too close to see any distant views. My son went to the gym, which didn't have many machines, but the service was very good.

The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right near the subway station and Nanchang Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around or catching a train. The room facilities are all brand new, and they even offer free late-night noodles that are really delicious. The only minor drawback is that the mattress is a bit soft, which took some getting used to since I prefer a firm bed. But I still slept quite well! Overall, the good outweighs the bad, and I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.

This was a nice resort stay in wangxian valley, very busy and definitely a lot of stairs. Do not recommend going with heavy luggages as there's quite a lot of steps to the hotel rooms. The amenities were good, room was clean and great view. Service was okay, they have a 24hr service line however when we called ahead to book for service to help transport our luggages for check out we did not receive any help and had to carry all our luggages ourself. The 24hr butler service was aware and had a quick response for better service next time. Overall, it is a decent stay if you want to stay within the park and catch the night time views but at a cost.
