This hotel is located right inside the scenic area, so you don't have to queue up to enter and exit every day. The package conveniently includes two entrance tickets, unlimited park access for two days, and breakfast. In the early morning, before the crowds arrive, you can wander around Sandieshui and Lanyue Bridge. With the morning mist swirling around the white walls and black tiles, you can take photos without any people in the shot. At night, when the lights come on, the entire valley transforms into something out of a fantasy drama, even more picturesque than during the day. We ate at the Weitou Restaurant. They had Qianshan rice noodles, rice cakes, freshly made crepes, and even fruits and drinks. The kids loved it, and the portions were generous and not skimpy at all.

Facilities: Given the disposable amenities and welcome fruit, the hotel exceeded my expectations. I didn't have high hopes, but the quality of everything from the dental kit to the slippers was surprisingly good. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was commendable, and staff were quick to respond to any issues I raised. Environment: The hotel rooms are nestled within the scenic area, beautifully laid out with stunning views from the window. It's also very convenient for exploring the park. Service: This is where I was a bit taken aback. Despite the significant slopes within the scenic area, only assistance with luggage *delivery* was provided. Essentially, a staff member accompanied us to check in. I can't imagine how difficult it would be for guests with elderly family members or children to manage their luggage themselves. Another point is the butler service. We weren't contacted in advance; we had to add the butler's WeChat ourselves after checking in. This meant we couldn't communicate beforehand to arrange the travel photography session. Platinum Travel Photography: I contacted them on the day of check-in. The photo shoot was scheduled for 4 PM, but it was raining heavily, making the entire park quite damp. We were also starving. After eating in the scenic area, we asked if the shoot could be done *within* the park, but this was refused. However, with the rain, it was impossible to trek all the way back to the original starting point without getting soaked. If we had communicated earlier and known that the photography service was right next to the check-in area, we wouldn't have had all that back-and-forth hassle, and we wouldn't have wasted the photography voucher. It feels like a missed opportunity.

We had an excellent experience at the Shanti hotel. If in town again, we would definitely stay here. Lovely view across the street to the lake. Room was spotless. We had no trouble at all using an international credit card. If desperate for food, there's a MacDonald's a short walk away.

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions. What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming. The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located not far from the cable car station on the mountain, within walking distance. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had plenty of hot water, which was great for a relaxing bath. The only downside was that you can't order takeout on the mountain, so I went to bed hungry. The owner is very enthusiastic and known as the 'Huangling Driving God.' I didn't quite get the hype from reading reviews at first, but after a ride in his little three-wheeler, I understood – he truly is the 'Driving God'!

Pros: Recently renovated and very clean, though I did find a hair on the headboard. When I reported it, nothing was done. The room type we booked was a 'three-choice' option, and they assigned us a standard room that comfortably fit three people, which was great. Cons: 1. The smell of new renovation was still very strong, definitely a 'flip property.' 2. Breakfast was incredibly unappetizing. The plain congee was greyish and had a sour smell. 3. They advertised a parking lot, but it only fits about ten cars, has no boom gate, can't be reserved, and isn't exclusively for the hotel. It just happens to be next to the hotel. I specifically booked this hotel because it had parking, but when we arrived, there was no space. I called beforehand to ask if reservations were needed and was told no. When we couldn't park, they just told us to figure it out ourselves. When I complained to the front desk about the strong renovation smell and asked if we could switch rooms, they offered a refund instead. It was Chinese New Year, we arrived at 7 PM, and they expected us to find another place to stay after checking out and getting a refund? Overall, Nanchang's urban tourism planning seems chaotic, with haphazard parking allowed on roadsides. All in all, there were just too many people during Chinese New Year.

If you want to fully experience Huangling, I highly recommend staying at a hotel within the scenic area. You'll get to enjoy the fireworks and 'bench dragon lantern' performance at night, as well as the beautiful illuminated Huaxi Water Street. In the morning, you can visit the Shaiqiu Square and Wuguitang with hardly any crowds, making for fantastic photo opportunities. I booked a standard room with a balcony and view at the Tianjie Hotel, which included round-trip cable car tickets for two and breakfast for two. The hotel staff was excellent, helping with our luggage all the way to the room. The room itself was very spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows and central air conditioning.

The room is clean, well-equipped, and the service is very good. The hotel is well-equipped and is an ideal place for our vacation. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful, and the service attitude is very good. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to travel. DoubleTree by Hilton is worth staying at again!

After spending a few days on Mount Lu, we then chose to stay for a night at the Sheraton Jiujiang Ocean Hotel. We'd still like to express our gratitude to He Qi and the male front desk staff who checked us in that day. Their thoughtful arrangements allowed us to get a good night's rest and recover a lot of our energy. The hotel opened in March, so its facilities are very new. Our Lake View Premium King Room featured both a shower and a bathtub, which our child absolutely loved splashing around in. There was also a dedicated work area and a coat rack, making the space well-utilized and very comfortable. The bedding was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the fully smart air conditioning and bathroom ensured a high quality of sleep. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious, offering a good blend of Western and Chinese options, and even featured a dedicated kids' section. The breakfast staff were professional and polite; while waiting for our food, we even chatted with the staff member at the noodle station about the weather and local waterfalls. Overall, it was a very relaxing and pleasant experience. This time, we didn't have enough energy to try the swimming pool and gym, but we'll definitely make sure to on our next visit. As expected from an international brand like Sheraton, the quality is guaranteed. Our child was so happy when they learned we'd be staying at the Sheraton after coming down from the mountain that they exclaimed, 'We're home!'

Advantages: 1. The appearance and environment are good, one of the best in Ruijin, and there is no problem with the appearance. 2. There are Tesla supercharging and Teladian charging stations in the hotel parking lot, which are very friendly to trams. 3. The breakfast is quite rich, and the rooftop restaurant has a 360-degree view (not much view) Disadvantages: 1. The facilities in the room are very ordinary, and the daily consumables are at the level of a fast hotel, which is not up to the 5-star standard (it claims to be 5-star) 2. The air conditioner can only blow hot air. The indoor temperature is 35 degrees and it can't be cooled down. I called the front desk and they said that it is a centralized heating system and you can only choose to turn it on or off. If it is hot, turn off the heating or provide an electric fan... 3. TV remote control The device can be turned on, but the buttons do not respond. It is completely useless.
