The room was great, located halfway up the mountain with valley views. The butlers provided excellent service, helping carry luggage to the room and offering a shuttle to the guesthouse center parking within the scenic area. Remember to check in at the guesthouse center, not the visitor center – don't make that mistake! The room was really good, my child loved it. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, with a wide variety of fresh items. The room was clean and the facilities were new. The booking also included three entrance tickets, which was quite a good deal.

Fantastic new hotel in the best, convenient location inside Wangxian Valley. Centrally located so it is a breeze to stroll to the village, snack street and restaurants, stores, workshops, and live performances. Each hotel building is in a unique traditional Chinese village style. Staying in the scenic area has the added benefit of enjoying the valley and natural scenery in the morning and early afternoon before the mass tour crowds from outside arrive after 3pm. The nearby Chaohelou watchtower is a short walk from the hotel lobby building and provides a commanding panoramic view of the entire valley both in the early morning and nighttime. The hotel also provided tickets for a complimentary photo shoot at the nearby by Bojue National Portrait studio. Includes 5 free digital photos, hanfu wuxia style Chinese costume rental, and a professional photographer to take your pictures; highly recommended. Ms Xiao Yu 小喻 from the concierge reception staff was very helpful, attentive, thoughtful, provided a comprehensive schedule and great advice for all the immersive live performances, and arranged for a taxi driver to take me from the hotel to the local bus station. Staying at Xiansu hotel and Wangxian Valley was a truly wonderful experience, like living in the magical fantasy towns of wuxia films Crouching Tiger, Once Upon a Time, and Legends of the Condor Heroes and animated film Spirited Away.

The hotel is nice and a comfortable environment. It's location is a bit out of the way, but not too bad. The rooms are a bit small, particularly compared to similarly priced hotels in bigger cities. (e.g. I came from Shanghai and spent a similar price for a room that was easily 50% larger. Given Shanghai prices, it should have been the other way around.) The breakfast was very underwhelming. Poorly cooked ”western” food that only vaguely looked like what it was supposed to be, and tasted nothing like it. Small selection of lukewarm Chinese breakfast items. Tiny bottles of yoghurt. Very watered down juice.

The location is fantastic. Downstairs, you'll find Metro Line 1 and several bus routes, and right across the street is the Municipal Committee and Government building. My room faced Tengwang Pavilion, and the distant night view was stunning. The front desk staff were very efficient with check-in and check-out. From February 20th to 24th, the floor attendant servicing room 3115 was incredibly warm and attentive; the room was spotless and even had a smart toilet. Breakfast was great, and I enjoyed Nanchang's signature mixed noodles and pottery pot soup. The dinner menu at the rooftop lounge was better than at the Shangri-La Hefei, and I especially loved the cheese with red wine. 😍

My family and I visited Huangling, and I booked a family suite at Shanshuge Meisu on Ctrip well in advance. I also got in touch with the owner early. It's about an hour's drive from the high-speed rail station to the village where the hotel is located. The owner arranged a private car for us for 100 yuan, which was very convenient as we didn't have to find a taxi ourselves, and it was quite a good deal. No worries at all!
When we arrived at the village entrance, the owner was already waiting for us. We hopped onto his motorized tricycle. At first, I was a bit scared (as it was my first time riding one) while he navigated a small country road. The owner handled it with ease, especially reversing up steps and making sharp turns. It really made me a little nervous! After getting off, I had to admire the owner's driving skills – truly a master among the common folks [facepalm][facepalm][facepalm].
After checking in and getting to our room, we found it to be very spacious and fully smart-enabled. Lying on the rocking chair, we could even see the cable cars moving in the scenic area [chuckle]. The 'Dragon Seed' suite is particularly well-suited for a family, with two separate bathrooms and two separate vanity areas. It was really convenient for the whole family to have their own space without disturbing each other [happy][happy].
Since we arrived in the evening, the next morning, following the owner's advice, we chartered a car to visit some nearby ancient villages (Shangtan, Longwei, Qingyuan). Around 2 PM, we went to Huangling. The sun-drying autumn harvest during the day and the night view were both beautiful [thumbs up]. The whole day's itinerary was packed.
On the third day, the owner arranged another car to take us directly to the high-speed rail station. The driver was also very good and drove steadily. This trip to Huangling was perfect!
Especially choosing Shanshuge Meisu and the 'Dragon Seed' family suite. We'll definitely come back next year to see the canola flowers in Huangling and stay at Shanshuge again [happy][happy].

Pros: Recently renovated and very clean, though I did find a hair on the headboard. When I reported it, nothing was done.
The room type we booked was a 'three-choice' option, and they assigned us a standard room that comfortably fit three people, which was great.
Cons:
1. The smell of new renovation was still very strong, definitely a 'flip property.'
2. Breakfast was incredibly unappetizing. The plain congee was greyish and had a sour smell.
3. They advertised a parking lot, but it only fits about ten cars, has no boom gate, can't be reserved, and isn't exclusively for the hotel. It just happens to be next to the hotel.
I specifically booked this hotel because it had parking, but when we arrived, there was no space. I called beforehand to ask if reservations were needed and was told no. When we couldn't park, they just told us to figure it out ourselves. When I complained to the front desk about the strong renovation smell and asked if we could switch rooms, they offered a refund instead. It was Chinese New Year, we arrived at 7 PM, and they expected us to find another place to stay after checking out and getting a refund?
Overall, Nanchang's urban tourism planning seems chaotic, with haphazard parking allowed on roadsides.
All in all, there were just too many people during Chinese New Year.

The room's balcony faces the first phase of the terraced fields, allowing you to enjoy a wonderful time right from your room. All the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Our butler contacted us in advance to inform us of everything we needed to know. Upon arriving at the visitor center, we used the dedicated cable car lane, and when we got off, staff were there to meet us, transferring us to a shuttle that took us to the hotel's reception center. They helped with our luggage all the way to our room. When we were checking out, it was raining, and the young man who saw us off carried our suitcases the whole way – we were very grateful! The hotel is right on the food street, so breakfast is just a few steps away, and it's also very convenient to get to the terraced fields cable car to visit the second phase of the flower fields. If I come back to Huangling, I would definitely choose this hotel again; it's the best value for money in the scenic area.
I went to Fuzhou on a business trip some time ago and chose to stay at Hilton Fuzhou Poly Huazhang. The overall experience was very good and I must share it.
• Convenient transportation: The hotel is located in the High-tech Zone of Fuzhou City, in the commercial center, and is only a 6-minute drive from the railway station. It is very convenient for people like me who travel frequently.
• Pleasant environment: As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the 80,000 square meters of outdoor artificial garden landscape. The traditional Chinese architectural design style makes the whole hotel full of elegant charm. Walking in it is comfortable and relaxing.
• Intimate service: From the check-in at the front desk, the staff is enthusiastic and professional, quickly handles the formalities, and also introduces the hotel facilities intimately. During the stay, any needs can be responded to in time, which is really worry-free.
• Rich dining: The ”Moonlight” buffet restaurant provides a lot of food, high-quality seafood, fresh and delicious, on-site cooking is full of fireworks, and there are various international and local cuisines to meet different tastes. The Cantonese and Gan cuisines in the ”Yugongguan” Chinese restaurant are also quite authentic, and every bite is intoxicating. It is very pleasant to order a cup of coffee in the ”Liuguang” lobby bar and enjoy the outdoor scenery.
• Complete facilities: The hotel has a large conference and banquet venue of 4,300 square meters, including conference rooms, banquet halls, boardrooms, and outdoor sunny lawns, which are suitable for both business meetings and social gatherings. In addition, the gym is fully equipped and the swimming pool is clear. It is so comfortable to swim a few laps. Living here, you can work and relax at the same time.
This time I stayed at the Fuzhou Poly Huazhang Hilton Hotel, which was impeccable in all aspects. Next time I come to Fuzhou, I will definitely choose this place!

After spending a few days on Mount Lu, we then chose to stay for a night at the Sheraton Jiujiang Ocean Hotel. We'd still like to express our gratitude to He Qi and the male front desk staff who checked us in that day. Their thoughtful arrangements allowed us to get a good night's rest and recover a lot of our energy.
The hotel opened in March, so its facilities are very new. Our Lake View Premium King Room featured both a shower and a bathtub, which our child absolutely loved splashing around in. There was also a dedicated work area and a coat rack, making the space well-utilized and very comfortable. The bedding was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – and the fully smart air conditioning and bathroom ensured a high quality of sleep.
The breakfast selection was rich and delicious, offering a good blend of Western and Chinese options, and even featured a dedicated kids' section. The breakfast staff were professional and polite; while waiting for our food, we even chatted with the staff member at the noodle station about the weather and local waterfalls. Overall, it was a very relaxing and pleasant experience. This time, we didn't have enough energy to try the swimming pool and gym, but we'll definitely make sure to on our next visit. As expected from an international brand like Sheraton, the quality is guaranteed. Our child was so happy when they learned we'd be staying at the Sheraton after coming down from the mountain that they exclaimed, 'We're home!'
The location of the hotel is very friendly to self-driving tours. It is only ten kilometers away from the highway exit. The hotel is elegantly decorated, giving it the feel of a five-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, well-planned, and separated into dry and wet areas. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the family of three slept well. Breakfast is on the top floor, with a rich variety of dishes, and they are constantly being added, with sufficient supply, and the beef noodles taste amazing. The front desk service was warm and considerate. Seeing our family of three, they gave us a free breakfast👍🏻

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to Nanchang East Station and provides free pick-up and drop-off. You only need to make an appointment in advance with the front desk. The front desk Xiao Wu is also very polite and enthusiastic. The facilities, services and hygiene are all good. It is worth coming again.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for tourists (including foreign tourists). Nancy and the staff were so kind, helpful and friendly - they shared recommendations on where to visit. The food was absolutely delicious; we recommend ordering lunch and dinner there too. The room was lovely; the view from the balcony was stunning and very peaceful. We recommend hiring Master Yu as the driver; He drove us around the various villages (Wuyuan is his hometown, so he knows all the good places to visit). He is so thoughtful and took our picture many times! The afternoon tea was also very special. We had a wonderful trip!
ZZuiaixingyedewulitouFacilities: The facilities are complete, the tea making equipment is simpler, and everything in the room is fully equipped, floor heating, air conditioning, all;
Hygienic: very clean, will be cleaned in advance;
Environment: The environment is in the mountains. It is quite quiet and quiet. It is a good choice for accommodation in Sanbao Village.
Service: Soft service exceeds expectations. It is recommended to turn on the floor heating and air conditioning in advance to make guests feel more comfortable. It is still a bit cold in the mountain. From the young lady, the younger brother, the store manager, people are very good, and they are polite to treat people and things. ~ will communicate in advance nice
”Warm heart to sleep” good night sweet soup: slightly sweet, you can prepare some healthy, not too sweet
The overall feeling is very good, five-star praise
The hardware is generally soft and the service is very good. The little brothers and sisters are awesome.

WWusuowei。This was such a wonderfully restorative stay! The room design really impressed me – the wooden partitions and ink wash style background wall created a serene, Zen-like atmosphere. The moment I walked in, all my travel fatigue just melted away.
The bed was soft and gentle on the skin, and the pillow was just the right height, ensuring a great night's sleep until morning. The lighting and soundproofing were excellent; drawing the curtains created a private sanctuary where I couldn't hear any outside noise. The whole place was clean and tidy, with no hidden spots in the flooring or bathroom. All the facilities worked well, and the service was warm and attentive. It offers fantastic value for money, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!
GGuest UserThe Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal!
You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience.
The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰
The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth.
It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.
XXiang_khushExceeded our expectations. Beautifully designed, exceptional concierge service, excellent amenities and areas to truly enjoy a staycation. Conveniently located in the bustling Sanbao street, eleme deliveries are also available and come right up to the room, the hot tub came with bath salts, mood lighting and really was worth every penny.
Standout features:
- Luxurious design
- Exceptional bed and pillows, best sleep in months
- Amazing hot tub
- Good quality bath products and toiletries
- Very cozy robes
- Spacious room
Few suggestions that could elevate this experience further:
- The tv does not have GiTV it has CRTV so English entertainment is unavailable on the projector unless you mirror your device and use a Chinese streaming app. International apps are not compatible.
- Room temp at night is quite warm since air conditioning is switched off during the winters, fans would be a relief
- Would’ve loved some chocolate placed on pillows for a honey suite
- The service is only in Chinese and restaurant closes at 4:30 pm unless you book a meal in advance
- There is no dairy creamer with the coffee only milk available in the restaurant on 1F
- Would’ve loved the projector in the hot tub area
- Xiao Du only understands Chinese and most room commands need her assistance, inconvenient if someone doesn’t speak the language
- Hard to find Didi Cabs to go anywhere but relatively easy to find cabs 2km away. (Very scenic walk or e-scooter)

The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage.
We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort.
The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up.
On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's.
A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about.
By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open.
It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre.
GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location. You can step right out onto Jewelry Street from the back alley, and it's a short stroll to Wanshou Palace for some local food and sightseeing. Tengwang Pavilion scenic area is just another 10-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. The underground parking is ample, and they even offer authentic local mixed noodles in the evening, which is a lovely touch.
