The location was great, close to the bus stop for Chefchaouen and the train station, so it was easy to get around. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is comfortable and clean, and it is quite quiet. The location is a bit far from the ancient city, but the taxi is not expensive. You can get to the ancient city for 20 yuan. The surrounding facilities of the hotel are also quite complete, there is a big supermarket, and McDonald's.

Excellent experience, however, some negative points to be highlighted. At breakfast, the manager followed us to ask us to fix, even though we had communicated our room number at the entrance breakfast was understood. Anyway, it's a recommended inn ★★★★★ Mint tea and sweets service on arrival and the room were very nice! The wash basin is fashionable, the lighting is nice, there is a dresser, and the breakfast is delicious! And after checking out, I was able to keep my luggage and I had time until the taxi came at night, so I was wondering what to do, but I was allowed to wait for a long time at the entrance hall. . The hotel located just in front of the train station, very convenient. The staffs were very helpful and kind. The room was clean. We recommend this place for sure!!!

The hotel is in a very good location. The public area is the destination of the trip, with Morocco and Fez characteristics. The room facilities are a bit old-fashioned. After two days of drinking in the hotel, the service staff's understanding of happy hour is quite different from that of the general public. It's not bad to communicate and coordinate with various departments in the hotel every day, just practice.

The hotel's WiFi coverage is particularly comprehensive, whether in the room, lobby, restaurant, or in the corner of the corridor, the WiFi signal is very strong, there will be no disconnection. The most beautiful authentic riad, the super-location on the outskirts of the meadow, in a quiet place, 3 minutes walk from the parking. The royal room is really royal, carving and painting as in museums, retro furniture, lusters, grandiose. Very spacious room, double bed and two single beds. We were very warmly met, we were treated with mint tea and biscuits, gave a map of medades and told which places to visit. Very satisfactory and beautiful breakfast in the garden under the bird singing. The pool is small but enough space and depth to swim. The roof terrace is also beautiful. We are very grateful to the Riad staff.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Volubilis. We hesitated to book the hotel because of some bad reviews about not having hot water and the staff being unfriendly (especially to Asians). But we decided to book anyways because of its location and quite affordable price. We were arriving to Fez at around 5pm, and we were told staying at the Medina wouldn't be worth it. Since we were catching a flight the next morning, we thought it would be more convenient to stay in the new city. So, despite some of the bad reviews, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Volubilis. Its location turned out to be great. It's right at the center and by the main avenue. There are lots of places to eat at walking distance and there are several Carrefours closeby also at walking distance. The staff was nice and they welcomed us well and took our request for a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, we have no complaints about the staff. Our room was big with a terrace. The room was old but clean. The terrace had no table or chairs, but it was okay. The bathroom was also big and we had no issues with the hot water. We showered at arrival and in the morning and water was hot and with pressure. The thing that we missed the most in the room was a fridge. Other than that, all good and acceptable. Though we agree with the other comments saying that this is not a 4-star hotel by ”global” standards.
