Hotels With Parking in Coimbra District, Portugal

The hotel was centrally located but is not a 4* property.    I would suggest it’s a basic 3* in terms of decor, bathrooms etc.  Rooms are a decent size, Bed is comfy, shower was hot with good pressure and towels were good.  Breakfast options are limited

Pontos fortes. -local aprazível para descansar e no meio da natureza. -Serviço  irrepreensível, pessoas muito simpáticas. -Pequeno almoço fabuloso. - Boa Relação preço/qualidade no restaurante.  - Quarto: 1-Muito asseado; 2- Bom colchão ; 3- Adorei a casa de banho; 4- Decoração minimalista? mas boa para mim. Ponto fraco: -O quarto podia ser maior; -podia ter um pequeno sofá. Pena que não podia ficar mais tempo.  Normalmente quando estou hospedado num hotel só uso para dormir e aproveitar para passear. Mas este apetece ficar e usufruir os serviços do hotel.

Funcionários muito simpáticos, os da receção e bar. Jantar horrível devido à falta de qualidade e péssima elaboração do salmão . Local muito bom.

A beautiful place, loaded with history and tranquility. Impecable and excellent professionals, except a restaurant collaborator who transposed the bad being with colleagues to the service, unfit for a space of these and revealing indifference for the presence of guests. The main dishes suggested in the Room Service letter, potato rice and cod with shell are far below the expected quality in this category hotel.

The hotel is well-located and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast is plentiful. The facilities are in need of some maintenance. I had to point out that the bathroom wasn't in good condition. Otherwise, everything was fine.

I have mixed feelings about my experience in this hotel, the reason is that it has an unusual concept with a design-oriented approach, which attracted a designer like me. As I checked in late and tired, the friendly staff offering me an ice cold beer was a nice start. The fact that the room was a windowless box made me a little uneasy at first, although I am not claustrophobic, but I was relieved by the good lighting and the rain shower. The hotel is really a must-experience and appeals more to young guests with its more affordable price compared to others. The only negative point was that it wasn't clean enough, the sheet metal on the bed and dust on the floor prevented the perfect experience.

The parking lot outside the hotel says that the hotel is dedicated, but the hotel said that they don't know what the situation is. It is recommended to park in the parking lot downstairs. There is no place to eat nearby. The facilities are generally old.

I stayed in a single room at ibis Coimbra Centro and had a pleasant experience overall. I was especially happy that the hotel fulfilled my request for a king bed. The room itself is compact but well laid out, just the right size for a solo traveler. One issue I did notice was that the room stayed quite warm, even with the temperature dial set to 15°C and the air conditioning on high. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it’s something to be aware of. The toilet was spotless, and I really liked the wooden floors and the modern shower area. I opted for breakfast during my stay and was pleasantly surprised by the variety available. The location of this hotel is very remote, more than 70 kilometers from the University of Coimbra, driving more than an hour. Don't decide if you don't have a car. The scenery on the road is still good. The hotel was converted from a monastery. In a very remote town, the hotel has a swimming pool and a vineyard. Breakfast is still OK. After the check-in, the front desk can help arrange dinner. The service staff took us on a tour of the hotel and there was a small church inside. The overall is good, it is far.
