It was a great location for my stay in Leukerbad. Even if it rained, everything was done inside the hotel, and when it was sunny, the view was very pleasant and amazing! The sauna and pool were available 24 hours a day, and the food was delicious. There was also a coin laundry next door. Thank you!

Hotel is approximately 10mins walk from Zermatt train station. There is a bus stop to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station about 4mins away from the hotel, very convenient. The hotel gave us a free upgrade during our stay and the view from the balcony was amazing! The pool and sauna facility looked great but didnt had a chance to try. Highly recommend this hotel going to Zermatt!

Very nice hotel and ideally also with children. Entry to the thermal bath was included on the day of arrival and departure. Excellent!

Thanks to the staff for upgrading the room for us, we can enjoy the beautiful view of Matterhorn from the terrace, which is very happy. The room is spacious, has a self-service dining area, and is fully equipped with stoves and cooking utensils. It is very suitable for skiers. The bathroom is very clean, there is a bathtub for soaking, and there is also a public swimming pool and spa. It's a pity that I didn't check-in earlier. I must come earlier next time to enjoy it. The location is excellent, only 4 minutes away from the train station, and it's easy to walk with your suitcase. It is walking distance from Gornergrat and Sunnegga stations, and there is a bus stop at the door to the Metterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station. Breakfast is very rich and delicious. This stay is really worth the money👍🏼

Excellent service, comfortable and well decorated rooms, the spa view on the mountains is very beautiful, the restaurant serves very good dishes with quality products, breakfast is good and varied, there is even pressed orange juice. Very good experience!

I used to stay at a domestic youth hostel for more than 400 nights as a hostel, but the hotel I stayed at this time was an accommodation for Swiss youth hostel association members. In principle, it is self-service, but I did not feel particularly dissatisfied, and it was evaluated as wonderful among the facilities I have stayed so far as the above evaluation. This time, I didn't use the swimming pool, wellness, sauna, etc. for convenience, but I was able to spend a fun 2 days.

Can enjoy the hotel hot spring, very clean, few people, quiet, comfortable, spacious, breakfast is more abundant, hot spring scenery is also ok, favorite is less people, but there are a lot of people in the town

Everything is excellent. I was very impress by the view of Matterhorn. I will strongly recommend to my families and friends to stay at Alpen Resort & Spa. There are lots of indoor activities and facilities to enjoy.

The hotel is in a great location. The corner rooms offer a panoramic view of the Matterhorn from both indoors and on the balcony! A shuttle bus is provided from the train station to the hotel, but it is not far to walk there. The main colors of the room are milk tea and bean paste pink, which are soft and warm. The dry and wet separated bathrooms are spacious, with coffee machines, tea bags and kettles. Small snacks are provided every day (European desserts are not likely to fail). It's just that the coffee cups are not cleaned very well 😂. A feature of the hotel: the cheese hot pot cabin! Reservations are required, with a separate space, and the Matterhorn view is just outside the cabin. The cabin is small and warm, with music and dedicated service. The set meal is 75 Swiss francs per person, with pickled meat cold cuts, nuts, and three kinds of mixed cheese hot pot ingredients all from the local area, and the final dessert is also very exquisite. Overall value for money!
