This is an older hotel, and the facilities are a bit dated (for example, the toilets aren't smart toilets). However, the service here is excellent. Whether it's the front desk staff, the floor attendants, the restaurant staff, or any other service personnel you encounter, they are all incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Thumbs up to them! 👍 The hotel's swimming pool is also quite good, and the jacuzzi is very relaxing. The location of this hotel is also fantastic. The surrounding commercial streets and Wanda Plaza are great for browsing, and there are many delicious food options nearby. Right downstairs is the Bank Plaza, perfect for a stroll in the morning or evening. If I come to Baotou again next time, I'll probably stay here again! 😊

The little girl at the front desk of the Bayonne Hotel is warm, professional and standardized. Although the room facilities are a bit old, the quality of towels, toiletries and bedding is good. The hotel parking lot is large and convenient for self-driving travel. The hotel is garden-style, the environment is elegant, comfortable and quiet, and there are a few peacocks in the courtyard. The breakfast in the hotel is too powerful, both Chinese and Western, and there are local characteristics of Inner Mongolia, Slight Mai, Sheep dumplings, Sheep Soup, Milk Tea, etc. A great stay experience!

I stayed at the Shangri-La during my May Day holiday trip to Hohhot. I was a bit worried beforehand about the hotel being older, but the reliable service exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent; it's a short walk to MixC Shopping Mall, and not far from Dazhao Temple and Saishang Old Street, making getting around very convenient. I stayed in an Executive Suite, which had a one-bedroom, one-living room layout. The separate living room and bedroom made for a spacious and bright environment, perfect for traveling with two kids. They had already arranged an extra bed for my older child and a cot for the younger one before we checked in. The most delightful surprise was how the hotel showcased the grassland culture everywhere. The lobby featured yurts and hada (ceremonial scarves) to welcome guests, and horse-themed artworks were visible throughout. You could even try on Mongolian robes for a free photo op, allowing us to experience the rich Inner Mongolian culture without even leaving the hotel. Breakfast also had a strong local flavor. There were freshly made lamb shaomai, authentic lamb offal soup, and Mongolian milk tea – all the local specialties you could wish for. The Executive Lounge offered soft drinks, snacks, and fruits all day. During happy hour, the light dinner included about six hot dishes, with main courses ranging from shaomai to pizza and sushi. The service, from the doorman to the cleaning staff, was warm and attentive. The swimming pool was heated, and the fitness facilities were well-equipped. As an established five-star hotel in Hohhot, it's well-maintained overall and highly recommended!

The hotel's decor is distinctly Mongolian, and the location is excellent, right next to the Bawang River with a large green area along the riverbank—perfect for dog owners. The service was exceptional; they were very responsive and even upgraded my room. I was particularly impressed with the receptionist, Feng Yuchen, who shares the same name as my friend 😂. He was always there to help with any issues. This hotel was undoubtedly the most satisfying part of my trip to Ulanqab.

room was clean and spacious. No complaints here. Checking in and out worked smoothly. But 2 things I have to complain about: 1) I have no idea why some people say the breakfast is great. For me and my wife it was terrible. Possibly the worst breakfast I ever had. Yes, they have a lot to offer. But somehow they make everything taste cheap and ”weird”. I ended up eating some dry bread with jam, because I couldn't eat anything else. I suspect that they don't cook by themselves, but buy some cheap readymade food and sell it as ”fresh”. Also, the breakfast still looks exactly the same as the pictures from more than 6 months ago. No change at all 2) no option to clean the clothes is ridiculous. I have no problem to pay or wash by myself but both they didn't allow me to do. I never saw this before. All in all it's not bad. If you don't care about the breakfast and don't want to wash your clothes, this hotel might be for you. The rooms are good and the service also very nice (apart from ”you can guess” the breakfast staff)

Coming to Ordos to see a play, I chose this renowned five-star hotel, and I truly felt it was worth the trip. The room was very spacious, and the view outside the window was absolutely beautiful, with a seating area perfect for a short rest. The long table under the TV was also very convenient to use. The yurt-style canopy over the bed immediately gave it a strong sense of ethnic and regional charm. It’s also worth mentioning that they provided welcome fruits and a souvenir gift. The breakfast restaurant is on the 2nd floor and can accommodate many people dining at once, so there's no waiting for a table. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with many Inner Mongolian regional specialties like milk tea and meat shaomai. The taste was authentic, allowing me to enjoy breakfast while also experiencing the unique culture of Inner Mongolia. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

The room was a bit warm, so they upgraded us to a suite. The facilities were excellent and clean, and the surrounding area was very lively. This is my second time visiting Chifeng, and I once again chose to stay at the Jiahua Hotel. The staff called me in advance to ask about my preferred floor, and the room assigned upon check-in had a beautiful view. Every staff member I met greeted me politely. Underground parking is convenient, and Wanda Plaza right next door is lively for dinner in the evenings.

I was truly impressed with my stay this time! The hotel's location is super convenient, making it easy to get around and find great places to eat nearby. My room was spotless and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The front desk service overall was excellent, and I particularly want to commend Stella at the front desk. She was incredibly warm and professional, handled my check-in very efficiently, and even gave us thoughtful tips on local attractions and things to keep in mind. She was patient throughout, making us feel very welcome and cared for. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and comfortable, and the cleanliness is top-notch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Lliliy1023The location is incredibly convenient! There's a bus stop right outside the door and the subway station is just a two-minute walk away. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, and the front desk and housekeeping staff were all excellent. They even upgraded my room! Plus, they have a robot delivery service for meals. The hotel breakfast is also very extensive. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserTaking advantage of the May Day holiday, I spontaneously embarked on a trip without much planning, intending to decide things as I went along. My classmate's mother recommended this hotel. To find a 5-star guesthouse-level hotel at this price during May Day was truly exceptional value for money. The hotel environment is excellent; although some areas were undergoing renovation, it didn't detract from the overall guest experience. The front office manager was incredibly welcoming, asking about our travel plans and offering genuine advice, such as visiting Dazhao Temple in the evening and reminding us about the significant temperature difference between day and night, suggesting we dress warmly. On my second day, I had originally planned to go to Chilechuan and then the desert, but she advised me to visit the desert first and then Chilechuan if time permitted. I readily took her advice, and the trip turned out to be perfect. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic and highly recommended. I look forward to staying here again during the summer holidays!

ZZhoujinchen~The room was pretty good. This seemed to be the cheapest room type with a bathtub (and complimentary bathtub liner). They offer a free extra bed for kids. Even with the extra bed, we could still open our 28-inch suitcase. I saw the cheapest room without a tub, and it was indeed too small. The hotel facilities are excellent, with lots of entertainment options, including sports, arcade games, and a kids' playground. Sandboards and sand toys are also provided. The outdoor splash pool is large and beautiful; it would probably be great for swimming in the summer. Although the hotel is massive, they have a mini-train service for transfers, which the kids absolutely loved. Even during the May Day holiday when the hotel was full, we didn't have to wait too long for transfers. The food variety changed quite a bit over our two-day stay, so we didn't get bored. Drinks are free-flowing on the ground floor lounge and third floor, so basically, besides shopping, you don't need to spend any other money here. I personally felt that the quality and variety of dishes were better when there were more people. Most of the staff provided excellent service, especially the front-door staff. They were always friendly and helpful when we came and went, proactively assisting with anything we asked. They truly are the face of the hotel! Downsides: 1. The hotel was a bit warm. We were told the air conditioning couldn't cool at the time in the room. It only got less hot when we left the curtains open and let the sun in. The restaurants and other areas weren't very cool either. I wonder if it cools down in the summer; it might be unbearable for people sensitive to heat. 2. During the May Day holiday, there seemed to be too many part-time staff who clearly lacked pre-job training, especially in the restaurant! During dinner, a young server dropped a bowl while clearing dishes. I watched as the oil splattered all over our table, and the clothes of my family members sitting nearby got oil spots all over their backs. Two or three girls picked up the bowl and continued clearing the table, completely disregarding whether anyone around them had been splashed. I didn't even receive an apology. When I saw my family's backs, I realized the food on the table must have been contaminated, and I instantly lost my appetite. I asked the server, ”You splattered us, shouldn't we at least get an apology and a wet wipe to clean up?” The server said she also got splashed, which is why she didn't realize. I feel this isn't the kind of service I should expect from a hotel that costs over 5,500 yuan per night. If only I had received an apology immediately after the bowl dropped, I would have said, ”No worries!” 3. The dry-wet separation shower stall had no place to put clothes. If the children were older, it probably wouldn't be suitable to share the same room, as showering would be inconvenient.

GGuest UserI booked this tent because I wanted my child to be able to play in the sand right outside. First, the positives: The room was unexpectedly spacious and clean, with new and tasteful furniture. Even though it's a tent, it felt very stable during windy nights. The room's location was truly excellent. We stayed in room 1019, which was at the very end, with sand dunes right outside our door. Adults could sit at their tent entrance and watch their children dig and slide in the sand – it was very convenient and felt like a real vacation. Although meals aren't provided, there's a BBQ and hotpot restaurant just over a small dune, open from 6-10 pm, which was good enough. However, there were a few minor downsides: There was no hot water at the sink. While I understand that conditions are limited in the desert, it was very uncomfortable to wash hands and face with icy cold water when the temperature was low, especially since my child needed to wash their hands frequently after playing in the sand. I suggest the hotel's vending machines sell some wet wipes. When checking in, I asked the front desk if we needed to wear sand-proof shoe covers on the way to the tent, and the staff said no. This was completely misleading. There were many sections on the way where we had to walk through sand. Without shoe covers, sand definitely got into our shoes by the time we reached the tent. Checking in required purchasing a ticket package for Yuesha Island. We didn't actually use any of the facilities on Yuesha Island. It would have been better if this cost was included in the room rate. Otherwise, if you don't look closely at the booking, you might not notice this fee. Ultimately, the value for money wasn't as good as Fusha. However, being able to play in the sand right outside was my core requirement, so I didn't fuss about the price. Frankly, with these conditions in the desert, I would have been fine paying over a thousand yuan a night. Splitting it into a room fee and a package fee just made the package feel not worth it. Finally, when we returned to the tent at around 9 pm, we found the air conditioner was broken. With temperatures around 5-6 degrees Celsius, and my child having just returned from playing in the sand outside, the need for warmth was immense. We reported the AC issue to the housekeeper. Although they dealt with it immediately, it wasn't resolved until close to 10 or 11 pm. My child took a hot shower before the AC repair person arrived, and we were very nervous while drying him off, fearing he might get sick. After sleeping through the night, it still felt very cold in the tent in the morning. While the tent experience was fun, we really didn't dare to stay a second night. And the fact that the camp didn't offer any form of apology or comfort for the broken AC was disappointing. The next day, it was as if nothing had happened. In Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, something like this would at least warrant a complimentary afternoon tea or something similar. Of course, later, when I slipped and fell at the Lotus Hotel and they also offered no acknowledgment, this incident with the AC seemed less significant in comparison. Perhaps this is just the level of service here. Overall, without the AC issue, I would have given it five stars.

GGuest UserThe hotel's service was incredibly thoughtful, covering everything from check-in and luggage handling to transportation. Every staff member had a great attitude, which is quite rare and appreciated. The all-inclusive package was fantastic – three buffet meals, activities, and shows, definitely worth the price. So far, aside from the yurt accommodations being a bit basic (though excellent for a yurt!), everything else has been perfect. The biggest surprise was the evening performance, 'Nomad's Home,' which was an immersive experience showcasing Mongolian culture. With live Mongolian dance lessons, a bonfire, fireworks, and a DJ, it had such a great vibe! I personally think it offers better value than the Lotus and Xiangsha resorts!

VVV188My overall stay exceeded my expectations. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient for dining and getting around. The lobby is clean and grand, and the staff are very friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The room was spacious with great natural light and ventilation. Housekeeping was incredibly thorough; there wasn't a speck of dirt or any unpleasant smells, even in the corners and bathroom. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a really good night's sleep. All the amenities were in perfect working order, with hot water and air conditioning functioning smoothly. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted great. For a mid-range hotel, this level of quality and value for money is truly rare. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip.

LLuqiDon't bite off more than you can chew. The overall staff capability and hotel facilities simply aren't up to par for holiday service. Honestly, the hotel wasn't even at full capacity during the May Day holiday, though it was certainly much busier than a normal weekday. The result? Completely inadequate service. 1. **Limited Restaurant Seating**: Finding a table for breakfast took about 10 minutes, and staff offered no guidance or assistance whatsoever. When I asked a server for help finding a seat (as I was alone), they directly suggested I share a table with a family of three who were already halfway through their meal, with the remaining seats cluttered with the kids' bags and toys. 2. **Limited & Unreplenished Breakfast Items**: The breakfast selection itself was quite limited (also due to the small restaurant size), and many dishes weren't refilled for extended periods. Being a watermelon lover, I checked for watermelon four times within half an hour, and it was never restocked (as shown in the picture). 3. **Wi-Fi Issues & Poor Front Desk Service**: Upon arriving in my room, I found the Wi-Fi wasn't connecting. I called the front desk, and even after following their instructions, it still wouldn't connect. The front desk then said they would send an engineer to check it out. Forty minutes later, no engineer had arrived, so I called the front desk again. The first thing I heard was a loud sigh from the front desk staff (before I even had a chance to sigh myself!). I really wonder how this hotel trains its employees.
