Excellent service! The hotel has everything you need: shops, souvenir stores, restaurants, a spa, gym, and pool! We even got a room upgrade to a corner suite with a view. There are checkpoints everywhere, making you feel very safe. The breakfast might not be the most varied or delicious, but the hotel truly goes above and beyond to ensure maximum comfort.

My stay at Mamluk Pyramids Hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is clean, cozy, and beautifully designed with an authentic Egyptian touch. The staff were polite, helpful, and made me feel comfortable. The room was tidy and quiet. The location is perfect for visiting the Pyramids and nearby attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special stay in Cairo.

I just wrapped up an unforgettable stay at this charming guest house tucked right next to the Great Pyramids in Cairo, and I can't recommend it enough! If you're dreaming of waking up to ancient wonders without the chaos of the main entrance crowds, this spot is pure magic. It's on the quieter side, so you get that intimate pyramid vibe without the tour bus frenzy. Our junior suite was perfect for two – spacious enough to unwind after a day of exploring, with all the comforts you'd want. But the real highlight? That rooftop breakfast terrace! Sipping coffee while gazing at the two massive pyramids looming in the morning light felt like a scene from a history book come to life. And the WiFi? Rock-solid throughout the hotel – a lifesaver for uploading all those epic photos and staying connected. What truly elevated this trip was the team, led by the incredible owner, Mohamed. He's got this genuine warmth that's rare in hospitality – like chatting with a knowledgeable friend. He hooked us up with insider tips on the best ride-sharing apps to navigate Cairo's wild traffic, spot-on restaurant recs nearby, and even curated a day tour that blew us away. The price was super reasonable, and our guide, Mo Karam, was an absolute standout. Thoughtful, packed with Egyptian history knowledge, and brimming with passion – he fielded my endless questions (seriously, a million of them!) with patience and extra stories that made the sites come alive. Booking him felt like unwrapping a gift. We love venturing out solo, but Cairo's energy is intense – constant traffic from dawn till dusk, and haggling with taxis can eat up your day. With Mohamed's help to hire a driver and car for city jaunts was spot-on; it saved us hours and stress. He was always there for backup, too. The personal touches sealed the deal: When I woke up with a pesky cough one morning, Mohamed sent over a steaming ginger tea to soothe my throat – talk about heartfelt! Then there's Mo, who brews Turkish coffee that's honestly better than anything I tried at local cafes. And the chef? She's a quiet force of kindness – doesn't speak much English, but her caring energy shines through in every meal. The whole staff is like that: friendly, chatty, and eager to help with whatever's on your mind, from hidden gems to quick translations. I'd like to leave a review and sincerely praise this hotel – everything was simply top-notch! Location: Absolutely magnificent, with a direct view of the pyramids. This made our family trip truly special and unforgettable. Check-in and Rooms: We arrived very early, at 5 AM, and they accommodated us by giving us the keys immediately! The rooms themselves are very comfortable, fresh, and brand new. Restaurant: The food is incredibly delicious! I want to express my huge gratitude to the restaurant staff (a wonderful man and woman) – they are amazing, hospitable people who surprised us with pleasant treats from themselves on several occasions. Service: Special thanks to Amr at the reception. He was very kind, showed genuine care, always offered water, and helped with any questions. A big thank you to the entire team for the amazing service. We will definitely come back here again!

Hotel is new and looks great. It’s out of the way from downtown which makes it more peaceful. We stayed a few nights, breakfast and the pool amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. However a few things to point out that I was going to but needs to be said. No privacy as workers working most of day outside of room so the window and curtains had to be closed or creepy men looking at you. Door connected to another room and not good sound proofing or insulation, can here everything other people are doing. Bed sheets had some blue dye stains on them the first night which was unwelcoming. Lastly, we decided to check out one night before, going to pay for mini bar things. The menu is priced in local money and not in dollars and doesn’t have VAT included, also a mini bar service charge is charged for the house keeper to refill which is hilarious at best as you pay for the room. That should include her to top up the fridge just as she would top up towels. Water isn’t free only a big bottle and not the small bottles so be careful. They don’t explain that clearly. So, once I saw my bill I tried to talk with front of house about it. He treated me like and ***** and said I need to pay in USA dollar and I said then why have a menu in your local currency. He couldn’t give me a good answer and just said all hotels do it. Then he started to laugh and tell me this is little USA money and so on and laugh again. I ended up paying my bill just to get out of the hotel as his attitude was poor and almost sarcastic. I paid then he said I’m welcome back be he will give compensation. I said well you wouldn’t help me swap a day to later in the week to return as early check out before so am good. Overall, we left the hotel in a poor mood and not acceptable. I’ve worked and work for these hotels and that is just poor. That was the biggest let down unfortunately.

My one-night stay on the 4th floor was incredibly disappointing. After arriving exhausted from my travels, I finally settled into sleep, only to have my rest cut short at 8:00 AM by the floor supervisor. Instead of maintaining a quiet environment for guests, he treated the hallway like a social club—shouting at staff, laughing loudly, and using his phone on speakerphone for everyone to hear. I even knocked on my door to alert him to the noise, but he completely ignored me and continued his disruptive behavior until the moment I checked out. I was actually planning to book an additional night, but after this experience, I wouldn't dream of staying here again. It is shocking that a supervisor would have so little respect for paying guests

The grounds and views are simply breathtaking – truly no alternatives. This is essentially why people come here and pay the price. HOWEVER! After staying at a good hotel in Cairo, Mena House feels like a budget trip to a summer cottage. This applies to everything: the interior, the furniture, the toiletries. The restaurant is expensive and not particularly tasty. They treat you like a tourist, meaning they don't really notice you or make an effort. You could just come here in the evening to take photos and dine at the restaurant. Probably, if I had known it was this simple, I would have done just that. They even bring tourists here by bus; we saw them. On the positive side, there's also a golf cart and a separate entrance to the pyramids. Tickets are paid, but the golf cart ride there and back is free. We had an unpleasant situation at the restaurant, which I reported to the manager when we were checking out. All the managers spoke with us and tried to resolve the situation. To leave a good impression and smooth things over, they gave me 5000 Marriott loyalty program points. But they won't be useful to me back home. I tried to book a same-day spa appointment but couldn't. For my birthday, they left a small cake in the room, and that was it. A room upgrade was offered for $500 for two days, not as a complimentary birthday gesture. The soundproofing is so bad it's like your neighbors are entering your room at night and lying down next to you in bed. The air conditioning wasn't working. This hotel is purely a tourist gimmick.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Stay Made Truly Memorable by Outstanding Professionals My stay at Hilton Pyramids Golf Cairo was a wonderful experience, but what truly made it exceptional was the outstanding service provided by the reception team, especially Rawan and Mennatallh. Rawan was the first person I met upon arrival, and she immediately set a very positive tone for my stay. Her warm welcome, confident professionalism, and genuine friendliness made me feel comfortable and valued from the very beginning. She handled the check in process smoothly and efficiently, while always taking the time to ensure everything was clear and well organized. Her positive energy and attentive approach truly stood out. Mennatallh continued this excellent experience with the same high level of professionalism and care. Her calm manner, attention to detail, and thoughtful communication made every interaction effortless. She showed genuine interest in ensuring that my stay was perfect and consistently went above expectations in the way she handled requests and questions. I have stayed in many luxury hotels over the years, yet the level of service demonstrated by Rawan and Mennatallh exceeded what I have experienced in many high end properties. Because of them, my stay was smooth, stress free, and genuinely memorable. They are a true asset to Hilton and a perfect example of what outstanding hospitality should be. I would highly recommend Hilton Pyramids Golf Cairo, and I will certainly return, largely because of these two exceptional professionals.

Location, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either.  From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure. 

The hotel's location is excellent; you can walk to the Grand Egyptian Museum, and it's a 15-minute taxi ride to the pyramids. The room was clean and bright, and from the balcony, you could catch a glimpse of the pyramids, though they were partially obscured by the buildings in front. Both the breakfast and restaurant offered Chinese food, and there were even Chinese power outlets in the room, which was very convenient. Overall, I had a great stay.
