Excellent service! The hotel has everything you need: shops, souvenir stores, restaurants, a spa, gym, and pool! We even got a room upgrade to a corner suite with a view. There are checkpoints everywhere, making you feel very safe. The breakfast might not be the most varied or delicious, but the hotel truly goes above and beyond to ensure maximum comfort.

A 5-Star Stay at Maria Pyramids House– Hidden Gem by the Pyramids! I just wrapped up an unforgettable stay at this charming guest house tucked right next to the Great Pyramids in Cairo, and I can't recommend it enough! If you're dreaming of waking up to ancient wonders without the chaos of the main entrance crowds, this spot is pure magic. It's on the quieter side, so you get that intimate pyramid vibe without the tour bus frenzy. Our junior suite was perfect for two – spacious enough to unwind after a day of exploring, with all the comforts you'd want. But the real highlight? That rooftop breakfast terrace! Sipping coffee while gazing at the two massive pyramids looming in the morning light felt like a scene from a history book come to life. And the WiFi? Rock-solid throughout the hotel – a lifesaver for uploading all those epic photos and staying connected. What truly elevated this trip was the team, led by the incredible owner, Mohamed. He's got this genuine warmth that's rare in hospitality – like chatting with a knowledgeable friend. He hooked us up with insider tips on the best ride-sharing apps to navigate Cairo's wild traffic, spot-on restaurant recs nearby, and even curated a day tour that blew us away. The price was super reasonable, and our guide, Mo Karam, was an absolute standout. Thoughtful, packed with Egyptian history knowledge, and brimming with passion – he fielded my endless questions (seriously, a million of them!) with patience and extra stories that made the sites come alive. Booking him felt like unwrapping a gift. We love venturing out solo, but Cairo's energy is intense – constant traffic from dawn till dusk, and haggling with taxis can eat up your day. With Mohamed's help to hire a driver and car for city jaunts was spot-on; it saved us hours and stress. He was always there for backup, too. The personal touches sealed the deal: When I woke up with a pesky cough one morning, Mohamed sent over a steaming ginger tea to soothe my throat – talk about heartfelt! Then there's Mo, who brews Turkish coffee that's honestly better than anything I tried at local cafes. And the chef? She's a quiet force of kindness – doesn't speak much English, but her caring energy shines through in every meal. The whole staff is like that: friendly, chatty, and eager to help with whatever's on your mind, from hidden gems to quick translations. The rooms are clean, they cleaned them every day, the service was excellent, they helped with any questions, the windows from the room looked out onto the wall, so it was impossible to use the window, the views from the restaurant and from the pool to the pyramids are superb, the staff in the restaurant is excellent, but it is very dirty, the chairs are dirty, it was unpleasant to sit on, the prices are high. The breakfasts were terrible, there was almost no choice. I highly recommend the nearby cafe Beans & Brew, it is close, cheap and tasty, there is also a large good supermarket on the way

Hotel is new and looks great. It’s out of the way from downtown which makes it more peaceful. We stayed a few nights, breakfast and the pool amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. However a few things to point out that I was going to but needs to be said. No privacy as workers working most of day outside of room so the window and curtains had to be closed or creepy men looking at you. Door connected to another room and not good sound proofing or insulation, can here everything other people are doing. Bed sheets had some blue dye stains on them the first night which was unwelcoming. Lastly, we decided to check out one night before, going to pay for mini bar things. The menu is priced in local money and not in dollars and doesn’t have VAT included, also a mini bar service charge is charged for the house keeper to refill which is hilarious at best as you pay for the room. That should include her to top up the fridge just as she would top up towels. Water isn’t free only a big bottle and not the small bottles so be careful. They don’t explain that clearly. So, once I saw my bill I tried to talk with front of house about it. He treated me like and ***** and said I need to pay in USA dollar and I said then why have a menu in your local currency. He couldn’t give me a good answer and just said all hotels do it. Then he started to laugh and tell me this is little USA money and so on and laugh again. I ended up paying my bill just to get out of the hotel as his attitude was poor and almost sarcastic. I paid then he said I’m welcome back be he will give compensation. I said well you wouldn’t help me swap a day to later in the week to return as early check out before so am good. Overall, we left the hotel in a poor mood and not acceptable. I’ve worked and work for these hotels and that is just poor. That was the biggest let down unfortunately.

My one-night stay on the 4th floor was incredibly disappointing. After arriving exhausted from my travels, I finally settled into sleep, only to have my rest cut short at 8:00 AM by the floor supervisor. Instead of maintaining a quiet environment for guests, he treated the hallway like a social club—shouting at staff, laughing loudly, and using his phone on speakerphone for everyone to hear. I even knocked on my door to alert him to the noise, but he completely ignored me and continued his disruptive behavior until the moment I checked out. I was actually planning to book an additional night, but after this experience, I wouldn't dream of staying here again. It is shocking that a supervisor would have so little respect for paying guests

The Mena House's views and location are truly unbeatable, one of a kind in the world. You can only fully experience the pyramids from sunrise, midday, to sunset by staying here. As night falls, without the pyramid lights, they appear exceptionally serene and mysterious, framed by the hotel's lights and palm trees. This is an experience that simply can't be replicated by just visiting for a quick photo. The hotel also carries immense historical significance. The Cairo Conference was signed here, and photos of the 'Big Three' from that era hang on the walls, full of historical resonance. For me, paying for this unique scenery and historical ambiance was absolutely worth it; I have no regrets. However, frankly speaking, the hotel's amenities, service, and attention to detail absolutely do not match its price (you're paying for the location, not the service). The hairdryer has weak power, leaving my hair dry and frizzy at the ends. The toiletries, especially the toothpaste, are of poor quality, like a product without any brand or quality assurance. There's only one type of pillow, and it's so soft it offers no support whatsoever. After one night, my neck was aching – not what you'd expect from a high-end hotel. The restaurant experience was also terrible: I ordered soup, and it was served without a spoon. I couldn't find one anywhere, and by the time the waiter brought one, the soup was completely cold. The restaurant staff would even specifically ask if everything was satisfactory, but by then, complaining felt pointless, so I could only say 'it's fine.' What was even more unsettling was the fake, superficial service. When I genuinely needed help or efficiency, no one was around. When checking out, my suitcase had spinner wheels and was very easy to push, but a staff member insisted on 'helping' with it, performing this kind of meaningless, superficial gesture. In summary: Staying here means paying for the pyramid views and the historical sentiment, not for comfort and service. Those who value scenery and historical significance might find it acceptable, but anyone seeking genuine service quality and a premium lodging experience will definitely be disappointed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Exceptional Stay Made Truly Memorable by Outstanding Professionals My stay at Hilton Pyramids Golf Cairo was a wonderful experience, but what truly made it exceptional was the outstanding service provided by the reception team, especially Rawan and Mennatallh. Rawan was the first person I met upon arrival, and she immediately set a very positive tone for my stay. Her warm welcome, confident professionalism, and genuine friendliness made me feel comfortable and valued from the very beginning. She handled the check in process smoothly and efficiently, while always taking the time to ensure everything was clear and well organized. Her positive energy and attentive approach truly stood out. Mennatallh continued this excellent experience with the same high level of professionalism and care. Her calm manner, attention to detail, and thoughtful communication made every interaction effortless. She showed genuine interest in ensuring that my stay was perfect and consistently went above expectations in the way she handled requests and questions. I have stayed in many luxury hotels over the years, yet the level of service demonstrated by Rawan and Mennatallh exceeded what I have experienced in many high end properties. Because of them, my stay was smooth, stress free, and genuinely memorable. They are a true asset to Hilton and a perfect example of what outstanding hospitality should be. I would highly recommend Hilton Pyramids Golf Cairo, and I will certainly return, largely because of these two exceptional professionals.

Location, location, location! Mohammed and Mustafa and staff are lovely and the best thing about this is location. Also, AC is great and hot water in shower, all really good things. Splurge and get the balcony, because if you get the $15 room, it’s an inside room - read everything carefully. But the balcony gives you breakfast with the pyramids. A couple of doors over there is heaven‘s lounge which you can get beer and alcohol at which is lovely to spend the evenings at with wine under the pyramids. You will get nothing of that here. I do have a bit of a bone to pick with trip.com because they didn’t do their research as there is no restaurant, there is no bar and there is no pool or gym in this place, which is why I downgraded the amenities. However if you were going to Giza for the pyramids, this is the place. Yes it is right behind the camel and the horse staging area so from 8 o’clock in the morning till quitting time which is 4 o’clock in the afternoon, you will have the authentic experience. If you do not like trash, if you do not like dust, if you do not like smells, you should probably just not be coming to Egypt in general! Because it is everywhere. However, if you want the authentic experience at the base of the pyramids, this is the place. Oh, and the Internet is crap… So just make sure you have a really good cellular plan because it’s no better anywhere else in Egypt either.  From our experience, and we have traveled everywhere, the left over British colonies just don’t have a really great Wi-Fi infrastructure. 

Traveling to Cairo, Egypt, I highly recommend the Sun Hotel Cairo. Its location, service, dining, and safety are all top-notch, making for a truly comfortable stay! The hotel's location is superb, right next to the Pyramids area. The Grand Egyptian Museum is within walking distance, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. It saves so much time and effort whether you're visiting the pyramids or the museum, which is incredibly tourist-friendly. What truly impressed me was the hotel's service! The manager was responsible and kind, always attentive to guests' needs, proactively asking if help was required, and meticulously taking care of everything. It made me feel incredibly warm and welcomed. All the staff were well-trained, offering enthusiastic and detailed service with a friendly attitude. The overall experience was excellent. The dining was an even bigger surprise! The hotel has a dedicated Chinese chef who prepares authentic Chinese cuisine. The breakfast was rich and delicious, perfectly satisfying a Chinese palate. You can also order Chinese stir-fries and other dishes. The taste is almost identical to what you'd find back home. Being able to eat such authentic Chinese food in a foreign country was truly comforting. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. Furthermore, the hotel is invested by a Chinese state-owned enterprise, so security is strict, and surveillance is comprehensive, providing a complete sense of safety. Staying here in Cairo made me feel especially secure and at ease. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Whether it was the location, service, dining, or safety, everything was impeccable. For anyone traveling to Cairo, just go for it; you definitely won't be disappointed!

My stay at Mamluk Pyramids Hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is clean, cozy, and beautifully designed with an authentic Egyptian touch. The staff were polite, helpful, and made me feel comfortable. The room was tidy and quiet. The location is perfect for visiting the Pyramids and nearby attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special stay in Cairo.
