Facilities: The microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, and other appliances were all fully equipped.
Cleanliness: It was clean and tidy.
Environment: The overall feeling was good.
Service: Even though I don't speak English, they were very patient in helping me check in, especially the young Black man – thank you!
The only thing was that I couldn't find a toothbrush or similar toiletries, and I'm not sure if they aren't provided at all.
Great Place … just don’t expect it to be “Accra-adjacent.”
The Good:
Peace and quiet, finally! The environment is calm, and the room exceeded my expectations for the price. There’s a massive car park, an event area, and a restaurant that does both local and continental dishes pretty well. Staff are polite, genuinely helpful, and make you feel welcome. There’s a swimming pool, a gym (more on that later), and even a mall just about 700 meters away...an easy walk if you’re feeling adventurous.
The Not-So-Good:
Let’s just say this place is spiritually located in Accra, but physically… not so much. It’s quite a trek from the city center. The gym needs serious rehab — most of the equipment has clearly seen better days. Accessibility is also tricky; ride-hailing apps often drop you at the wrong gate, and the access road isn’t exactly a joyride.
Verdict:
Overall, I had a good stay. It’s quiet, comfortable, and great value — if you’re not planning to spend most of your time inside Accra. Otherwise, pack snacks and patience for the commute. PEACE
Nice apartment room, clean and tidy with nice customer service from the ream. Transport for Airport pick up and drop of was on time. The security men well very helpful.
Pro:
1. The staff at the hotel made my stay fantastic
2. The Airport Shuttle service was brilliant to and from and even when you require additional help, they went out of their way to help.
3. Breakfast was an excellent service and the buffet served had excellent array of delicious choices
Con:
1. The lift / elevator system needs upgrading
It’s perfect place for leisure,,it’s a great stay ,the amenities are a top notch..Aside these their checkout time is too early as 11:00 am ..which makes it very bad for rush in check out especially their staffs ..they were on our neck to check out early .check out times usually like midday like 12:00 is better .
🏨The hotel is quite new, with an apartment-style feel, but it's a full-service hotel with laundry service, a gym, a pool, and a restaurant. Breakfast options aren't limited, but they're adequate.
💪The gym was beyond my expectations. It's truly amazing to have such a great gym in this part of Ghana.💯
Really love how spacious clean and smells good the room is. Due to AC maintenance they were able to check us in after 2 hours of waiting however they have also given us 2 hour late check out time.
It’s always a pleasure staying at Embassy Gardens. One of the best places to stay in Accra without question. Easy access to Accra central and great amenities nearby. The complex also has a pool and a gym that you and use. Staff are also friendly.
Great property, wasn’t allowed to leave my bags to check in but saw other travelers getting to do the same. Gym is great but some of the other amenities could do with some cleaning.
The service line is always online which is good but they don’t help out if you have larger problems. They have one or two team members that really do help out, but a few of them don’t seem to care.
I'm currently on a business trip in Ghana with my wife, and I've been staying at this amazing apartment. It's quickly become one of my favorites, which is why I've left multiple reviews - I just keep coming back! The property itself is top-notch, especially the gym, which is a huge plus for me. My room is well-equipped with everything I need, and the host, Accra Luxury, is super accommodating. Would recommend.

MMaxwell AcquahI enjoyed my stay. The facility is well kept and in a very good location with easy access to all kinds of activities. Security is very high and the staff are friendly.

EEve ManifetovaI had a wonderful stay at GhanaLancaster Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Accra. The location is very convenient, close to key areas of the city, which made getting around easy and stress-free. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I immediately felt comfortable.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and secure. I also enjoyed the hotel facilities, especially the pool area, which was perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
Breakfast was another highlight — a great variety of options, fresh food, and good service. The restaurant and bar area were also pleasant, with tasty meals and a nice ambience.
Overall, GhanaLancaster Hotel offers excellent value, great hospitality, and a comfortable experience. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Ghana.

AANGEL OFFICIALEBest stay! Customer service was impeccable, the host harriet was very friendly and attentive, the studio was sold out so they upgraded us to a bigger apartment for free, highly recommend! Shops and restaurants close by, its in the city so its not far from activities and night life, all amenities were provided for! 10/10
NNazarethbuxBeautiful environment and especially great vibe at the pool and restaurant area. In the evenings they play some music and it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy if you don’t feel like going out. You can have a drink and they even have shisha if you like. The waitress Catherine at breakfast time was absolutely lovely! Warm and helpful and friendly, we really missed her when she wasn’t around on the weekend. The one thing I didn’t like about our stay was that some of the front desk staff seemed to have a bit of an attitude towards us because we had extended multiple times and chose to do so through trip as it’s cheaper than the USD rates that the hotel charges directly. They said that what we paid through trip was too little however, we didn’t make those rates so I found that a bit rude. The whole hotel operates on USD rates so for value added services like laundry or transportation it can be very overpriced.
CCrystal Phung1. The room is clean, the space is larger than described on the booking. The bathroom is very large and has a bathtub to relax.
2. The staff here are extremely good from the security guard to the room service friends! I feel very interested ^^
3. The swimming pool and hotel grounds are spacious and airy. The surrounding area is on top of McCarthy Hills, so the scenery is very poetic and quiet, suitable for the holiday^^
The disadvantages are:
4. For example, a little far from the main road, you need to call Uber.
5. The hotel seems to have been open for a long time, all the equipment does not look very new. Still good to use but if you ask higher here it's not satisfactory. There is only one power outlet near the headboard😞
6. The hotel seems to be quite empty, I have been here for two days and have not met any guests but me. I'm alone a swimming pool is also a bit...bored🥺
GGuest UserThere was no clean towels they in the washer been washed.
The sofa was very uncomfortable. It has huge lumps and gaps in the the cushion. It is completely worn out
