The hotel boasts a prime location, just a 3-minute walk from the south exit of Mito Station. The rooms are new and spacious, complete with a small round table for relaxing and chatting. It's also incredibly convenient for taking the Ibaraki Airport Line, situated right at platform 4 of the south exit. With proof of accommodation, you can enjoy a free ride on the Airport Line.
It was close to the sea and had a great view.
The welcome drink was delicious, and was made with amazake (sweet sake).
The staff were very kind and polite.
Dinner was a course meal, and the dishes were explained to us each time, and they were both delicate in appearance and very tasty.
There was also a stylish free space lounge, which was nice.
Breakfast was also very delicious, but perhaps because we came at a bad time, as there were many empty plates or plates with only a few left.
It was also a convenient distance for going to teamLab.
Like most Japanese hotels, the room was small but well-equipped, even coming with a mini-fridge. The service was excellent. It was also quite convenient to stay here for visiting Hitachi Seaside Park to see the nemophila flowers. It's just a few minutes' walk from Mito Station. Right in front of the hotel are the Sakura River and Senba Lake, where we saw wild ducks, swans, and black swans. It's about a 30-minute walk to Kairakuen Garden, a popular spot for locals to stroll and jog. I imagine it would be beautiful during cherry blossom season in spring and plum blossom season in winter.
The hotel room was clean, and the loungewear was starched and comfortable. The amenities were plentiful and the hotel staff were very friendly. There was a convenience store right next to the hotel, which was conveniently located at Hitachi Station. I wanted to see the sunrise over Hitachi Station, but I couldn't see it from the hotel window.
However, I was glad that I could see it beautifully from the road on the Hitachi Station side of the hotel, the station plaza, and from inside the station. It was a wonderful memory.
It was a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and clean, and the large windows offered a great view. We also got free access to the hot springs next door, so it was great value for money.
The environment is quiet and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows at the front desk are very comfortable. Although the room is small, it has all the necessary daily necessities. The customer service at the front desk is very good! There are restaurants and a large 24-hour supermarket nearby.
This time I used a large room, but I can spend comfortably in any single room. The large communal bath is clean and the hot water is good, and it is hard to enter late at night and early in the morning. Breakfast has Japanese and Western food, and there are not many types, but all are delicious. I always use it when I go to Ishioka.
The Celecton Hotel opened in 2019.It is quite new and within a short walk from Tsuchiura Station . There is a Kasumi supermarket near the station. You can get a set of very comfortable pyjamas when you check in at the front desk. Public onsens for males and females , ice making machine , drinks vending machine , microwave machine are all on the ground floor. We didn't try the breakfast as there were many other food options nearby. Aeon mall is a short bus ride from Tsuchiura Station.
The room was spacious, making it easy to open large suitcases. There's a big public bath and a laundry room, and breakfast was good. The room was quiet and peaceful. The hotel is right across from the station; you just take the pedestrian bridge down and you're there. If you have luggage, though, you'll need to take the elevator on the left side of the bridge down to street level, cross the zebra crossing, and then you're at the hotel. We visited in March when the plum blossoms were in full bloom. You can walk from the hotel through the station to Kairakuen Garden and then take the train back.
Hotel location is behind a few malls with many options for food. For a parking spot it costs 1000yen from check in to check out. It was a good hotel with a main and annex building. It’s starting to look its age but can see the staff very hardworking and friendly which is always a plus. I hope the hotel can start to refurbish in stages as the room has many scuff marks however it’s a good place for one or two nights stay. Thank you.

GGuest UserI live on the 4th floor, outside the hotel window you can see the rooftop of the next building, will see someone smoking on the rooftop, you can ask him to give cigarettes over, feel not too safe!
The walls are very thin and it is easy to hear the sound of talking in the next room. Although the hotel staff's English is not very good, they are doing their best to solve it with Google translate!
MM15345****A decent hotel. The service was excellent. They offered free dandan noodles for a late-night snack. The hot springs were excellent. It happened to be the Lantern Festival, and the open-air baths, enjoying the cool breeze and bright moonlight, were quite relaxing. Just be sure to pay attention to the bus schedule from the hotel to the station. When booking, I thought it would run every hour, but it turned out to be only available at 15:10. Although we missed the shuttle, the bus was quite convenient. Just be sure to prepare small change in cash or PayPay. I personally think the 100-year-old plum wine is superb. Highly recommended.
SSylviahuanThe room was new and beautiful, with clean comforters and pillows. Best of all, it's right inside the station circle, which is incredibly convenient! Lawson is right downstairs, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so you won't be hungry. Katsuta Station is a major station, so connecting everywhere is very convenient. I'll definitely choose Terrace INN next time I visit!
TTCLYHotel facilities are general, the hotel is more difficult, the parking lot is often full, go to the parking lot around yourself is more troublesome, breakfast do not ask too much to eat a belly, if you hit the April cherry blossom season 𠮶 cherry blossoms are good.
GGuest UserThe night view of the open-air bath is recommended. The location of the lobby is also good. Because it was a Bon Festival holiday, it may not be possible to make the amount high, but it is too high. I won't stay even if I get 10000. The rice may be good, but there was a dish that did not come out. I think it would be good if I only took a bath.
AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and spotless. Amenities such as face/batth towel, coffee drips, face cream etc are self-helped.
We ran into issue checking in as we reserved 2 rooms for 3 pax. Somehow the reservation was confused and we had to pay additional for 3rd person.
Thankfully it was resolved by Trip.
Aa-travelerThe room was spacious, making it easy to open large suitcases. There's a big public bath and a laundry room, and breakfast was good. The room was quiet and peaceful. FFENGLINFront desk: The service is very good, there is a Taiwanese sister who speaks Chinese, and the communication depends on her. In the middle of the night, there should be only one security grandfather. Food: Everything is delicious. It is available in the morning and evening, but it needs to be booked in advance. The food office near the 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon will be off work. If the hotel is expensive, the hotel also has instant noodles. But it is recommended to try dinner, it is delicious. Hot springs: There is an open air! if you are willing to! You can go to the bubble 24 hours a day! And very few people! One word: cool! A variety of skin care, cleaning products, are also very easy to use (sensitive skin measured), it is worthwhile to try to empty. Room: The room is spacious and it looks like which one you booked. Shrine: The Tsukuba Shrine is going out and turning right. When you look up at the hotel door, you will see the bird house. From that bird house, you will enter. After visiting the shrine, go to the orbital station and follow the tips on the left to climb some steps. The track goes back and forth 1050 yen. The top of the mountain: To the top of the mountain is the male body mountain, very close; to the right is the female body mountain, the mountain road is not easy to walk, 15 minutes, you can go to a mountaintop, there is a small hall. You can choose to take the cable car over there, but will not return to the hotel.
ちちゃめりんThe large public bath was excellent. It was very clean and comfortable.
The room was also very quiet with excellent soundproofing, but there was one thing that bothered me.
Whenever I closed the door to my room, there was a constant whistling noise. It stopped if I opened the door just a little, so I slept with the door open.
I'd like you to check this again. I'm not particularly sensitive, but I have good hearing.
I thought it was great that there was a door inside the room, separating the toilet and shower from the living room.
As for the young woman at the front desk, I think she needs to learn how to serve customers. Her hospitality skills are very poor.
To be honest, she was unfriendly.
NnomadsenseiAlthough it is countryside, it is very close to the train station. About 2 minutes of walking. Front desk staff members were helpful to accommodate the room request. The bathroom in the room was quite clean. However, the shampoo and body soap in the room was low quality. But luckily you can go to the entrance area to pick up another variety of soap and shampoo. I appreciated that they had DHC skin care set in case you didn't bring it with you.
There is a convenience store across from the hotel. So I was thankful for that. Otherwise, there is a bakery and an izakaya and that is it. 🙂
