There seems to be no B&B in Flores, so I booked this one.
The environment is very nice and clean, and it is a small villa environment. It looks much better than on the island, and it is not far from the island. It only takes ten minutes to walk there.
You can book a tour to Tikal in the hotel. It cost me 400 Guatemalan pesos. The trip is urgent, so it should be more expensive, but it is acceptable.
There is also a regular supermarket with clearly marked prices next to it. In this country without label prices, this kind of supermarket is very friendly to travelers.
The Jingle Lodge is a nice hotel in a great location. However, the rooms do not have air conditioning, and the power is turned off at night and for part of the afternoon. You'll receive the power schedule when you check in. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby and restaurant, and there is no cell signal in Tikal.
A good value for money hostel on Flores Island, where you can take a rough picture with your mobile phone. There are also shortcomings, but there are more advantages.
The hotel has a beautiful environment that makes people completely relax, no need to think about anything, just enjoy tranquility and comfort. The rooms are spacious and clean, the design is elegant, the bed is moderately firm and provides excellent sleep quality. The service staff is kind and attentive, making the overall accommodation experience more perfect. Fully equipped, whether it is a swimming pool, gym or restaurant, maintain a high standard. Every detail shows the intention and makes people linger. It is an ideal place to relax and stay away from the hustle and bustle, whether it is a holiday or a business trip, it is worth a try.
Excellent location, services and sunset views from this fabulous hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They prepare a picnic bag if you do Tikal sunrise tour leaving at 2.45 am, they arrange a shuttle to the airport and were very kind providing medication for indigestion. The room is very spacious with a terrace and air conditioning is a must. Breakfast had multiple options on the terrace overlooking the lake. Will definitely recommend.

TTugatouristFirst the good: great location close to the island and with a direct view to the lake, friendly staff, nice swimming pool, good breakfast.
What can be improved:
1. Sound insulation - you can easily hear guests in the neighbouring rooms talking or snoring during the night, making it sometimes difficult to sleep properly;
2. Rooms are built in such a way that hardly any direct sun comes in, meaning you've got to turn on the lights practically the whole day of you want to see properly;
3. The floor surrounding the swimming pool is very slippery, not appropriate at all for the location;
4. Speaking of pool, it gets very little sun throughout the day so you'd better be tactical if you want to sunbathe;
5. Fixtures are quite dated and rooms could use some refurbishment

RRingoDadWe knew we were booked into a shared bath arrangement, but still was disappointed about the room itself, very small, damp with smoky smell, very bad motel experience.
Hotel complex itself is much nicer, proximity to Tikal allow you to tour the ruins at sun break; I would have picked another facility if I had choice, though there's very limited
availability closer to the park.
GGuest UserHotel Sabana is in a great location! The service was great! BUT there is no warm water, feels are as rough as sand paper and the sheets as thin as they can be. Our room specifically had a broken faucet that kept randomly squeaking and we had to play with it several times to make it stop. We were also charged 200 quetzales more than our reservation said.

AAnonymous User1. Hotel breakfast is average; but at this price, you can't ask for too much;
2. The exterior view is good, directly by the lake, which is equivalent to a lake view room. But it may also be the reason for the lake. The room is very tide and the experience is not good.
