I visited Turi Beach Resort, Batam with my husband. He was there for a company team-building trip, while I travelled on my own for leisure.
Security at the resort is quite strict, which made me feel safe. All guests and vehicles are checked before being allowed to enter. The resort has a beautiful seaside view and a very relaxing holiday vibe. It’s peaceful and perfect for unwinding.
Do note that the resort is located away from the city. If you prefer nightlife or city activities, staying in Batam city would be more suitable. However, this resort is ideal for those who want to relax and stay away from the hustle and bustle.
The breakfast buffet had a good variety. I especially enjoyed the different egg options, and the porridge was very nice too.
Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy nature.
I had such a pleasant stay at hotel harmoni one convention batam! The hotel is spacious, clean and beautifully designed with a grand lobby that gives a luxurious feel. The rooms and comfortable and well-equipped, making it perfect for both short and long stays.
Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Montigo. The villas are spacious and well kept. Privte pool is clean with water jet nozzles enhancing swimming experience. The highlight would be the scenic seaview. There are sufficient amenities and activities to enjoy like ATV, jet ski and various water sports. There are 5 restaurants to choose for daily meals. The Nasi Ayam Berrmpah I had for dinner at Warung was excellent. Tiiigo is a nice poolside bar to chill and chat the night away. Breakfast was average. I like the freshly made pratas. The staffs are courteous and helpful. Only downside is there no actual beach here. Only a jetty waterfront.
I have been here for the 3rd time and this hotel never disappoints. The breakfast buffet spread was plentiful and the staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. Overall the hotel was clean and well maintained.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Induction cooker was all rusty and we didn’t want to use it. Aircon broke down on our 1st night. Maintenance took more than 30mins to respond and another hour to rectify issue.
Shower area is right in front of sink, beside wc. No curtains So when you shower, the whole toilet gets wet and soapy.
Only 2 lifts servicing our block so be prepared to wait. We stayed at the top floor and took is really long to go up or down.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was really good but staff were slow in topping up. No convenience store in the hotel so had to cross a busy street to the nearest store.
We could not find any 5 star hotel with lower price other than Alltrue Sydney hotel Batam Centre!! The hotel is huge. Included with own convenience store & souvenirs stall. The room we chose have everything you need to experience like a 5 star rooms. Can you imagine you're just paying SGD35 per night for this??!!
The staffs all are friendly. Swimming pool is perfect for families, the gym have all the complete equipments you want to use. And especially the buffet restaurant, all the food & drinks are decent and very delicious! You cannot ask for more!
Thank you so much for the great experience Alltrue sydney! We will definitely come back here again! 👍🙏

To the management and staff of Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel.
My husband and I were attracted to Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel for to its rich and unique history, the conversion of a cruise ship to become a hotel! From email communication to the end of stay, it was a great experience. We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the hotel offered a package of decoration with a slice of cake at a certain price but we told them that we can do without it but we were pleasantly and happily surprised when we entered the room, the bed was nicely decorated for our wedding anniversary then a knock at the door with the delivery of the anniversary cake and a personalised card anniversary card! Another pleasant surprise was the ship specially organised a Heritage Ship Tour for us at a timing on 24/10/25 that we can make it. We were so happy with the heritage tour as we very much wanted to know more about the history of the ship, to visit the engine room etc...Tuti, our lady Heritage Tour Guide was friendly, knowledgeable and quick into action when we needed some information about the rooms and hall ( in case we may want to book in the future) Another thumbs up for the hotel. Overall, the staff was polite, smiling always, eager to serve. We will recommend this unique ship hotel, something different from other hotels and the great service!
This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel with my kids. The surroundings have changed drastically — it’s now quite noisy even at night.
That being said, I still like the hotel very much. It’s value for money with great service, friendly staff, relaxing in-house massage, and yummy food at the restaurant. The hotel’s design is also quite impressive despite its age. The rooms have been renovated since my previous visit many years ago, and overall they are comfortable and pleasant to stay in.
Location is 5 mins drive to Nagoya Hill.
Please keep up the good work, and consider enhancing the sound insulation.

Service was great, they sent a buggy to send us to our block as it was a bit further away from the reception. Staff were all very friendly, always greeted us when we walk past each other. Nice view too!
First time stay in Swiss belhotel harbour bay…
Good hotel near by harbour bay ferry terminal..just walk about 10 minutes and the services is really awesome from the guest officer until the restaurant staff really excellent , especially Maya she always check on us about anything that make us comfortable to stay and she make birthday surprise that make us feel special and the restaurant staff Anabil (if not wrong the name 😊)he also very good

TThomas96My friends and I recently stayed at Nagoya Mansion Hotel and Residence, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walking distance from Nagoya Hill Mall, making it ideal for shopping and dining.
The room facilities were average but adequate, and the cleanliness was up to standard. Although the absence of a hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience, the friendly and professional staff more than made up for it. They were very accommodating, even arranging for us to check in early without any additional charges, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. The hotel’s convenient location and excellent service make it highly recommendable to others. With some improvements to the facilities, it would be perfect!
SSavvytanIt’s our first time and definitely not the last. Everything was great from the buggy in, to the size of the very clean room, to the baby cot that was already provided in the room and room service.
Only thing I’d suggest for improvement is the massage place is too near the restaurant and live bar. There was loud music when we went for our spa retreat and the music dampened the quietness and chill mood we wanted for the spa and massage. I would suggest to move it further away or install sound proofing walls for the tent.
Other than that, quite a perfect stay. We didn’t have enough time to explore the activities centre as it was for kids aged 3 and above.
One last thing, everything is chargeable for rent which I feel certain things could have been provided for less cost or free. Like bicycles to get around the very large lagoon or kick scooters. Their 2/3 wheelers were fully rented out and not cheap to rent too.
LleejieunnnI was genuinely amazed by how spacious the entire property was! It felt like a resort city on its own, so many areas to explore and activities to do. From the lush surroundings to the variety of amenities, everything was thoughtfully designed to make the stay enjoyable. Whether you’re relaxing, dining, or out exploring, there’s always something to do. Truly an exceptional experience. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
DDean StantonInstantly one of my new favourite hotels in Batam.
Convenient location in Kampung Pelita area, opposite Aston Hotel and Residences and 9 minutes walk to Nagoya Hill Mall, 20 minutes walk maximum to GoGo Supermarket in Bengkong. Amazing place nearby, Kobie Coffee and Ruma Pelita - easily a 5/5 café and cultural / creative experience.
Staff are lovely, gracious, efficient, with excellent language skills. Professional but friendly and welcoming.
Public areas are modern, fresh, tranquil and very well maintained. Lots of thoughtful little touches throughout.
Standard rooms are compact but well appointed, very clean, comfortable. Nice linens. Good sleep. But don't expect any views from the windows.
Like the pool area. Breakfast buffet is highly recommended.
AAnonymous UserLoved our stay here! Such a beautiful resort and beach front. The location is good for a clear beach and ocean view, no ships/ferries nearby. The pools were great too. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only the ventilation was not working in the toilet so everything remained rather wet for longer. Breakfast spread was good, Indonesian and western. They have a restaurant open there for lunch and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the door men and buggy and shuttle drivers. We wanted to try a restaurant at Montigo and they kindly buggy-ed us to outside the property. Location is only 30 - 40 min from Nagoya city.

AAnonymous UserThe stay during my visit there is clean, with nice scenery and the staff are always very prompt in replying your queries/messages and they are always very welcoming to greet you whenever they see you around. Some staff took extra initiative to remember which room guest you are from. They will update you daily via WhatsApp in the weather conditions and activities available for the day during your stay there.
It monsoon season now and water activities are on hold sooo we are unlucky not being able to play the water sports. So if you are coming, do plan it wisely.
But the down point during our stay is, if you want to go out of the hotel premise to tourist attractions or even explore local neighbourhood or to local mart. It would be definitely out of question unless you are engaging a vehicle with driver cum guide that can bring you around. Since Grab service is not available in that area as it is out of city area and about an hour journey drive from ferry terminal to the hotel.
And not to say if engaging a driver with car it is by 3-4 or more hours rates. Which can be quite pricey. If couple is traveling only.
Hotel food alone is already very costly. One meal can simply cost $50-$60.
Bintan is still not a very well developed place, I personally felt that they shouldn’t charge so much, but well it’s a 5 star hotel so can’t be blamed too.
But overall, it was a great experience with The Residence Bintan.
GGuest UserWe recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests.
1. Room Consistency & Communication
Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved.
2. Villa Room Maintenance
On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression.
We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved.
Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.
AAakash32We booked the place following Instagram reel saying kids friendly, I would say it was okay but didn’t meet our expectations (as we regularly stay the residence and I paid 30> higher price here compared to to residence since we wanted to try something near ferry terminal and was highly rated on IG for kids.
We booked 3 nights, 2 adults one 2 years baby.
Experience
Good:
- kids club play room big and nice, offering indoor, outdoor and splash zone free
- free dine in for kids with food that kids will actually eat
- got 2 pools, adult and family (with child pool). Pool size is good
- they printed the ferry ticket in advance so we didn’t have to queue while going back
Bad:
- rooms are not so kids friendly, small shower area, too many pillows every where
- king size bed is actually doesn’t feel king size but rather queen size
- we walk in to restaurant for dinner 2nd night got denied cause they had bbq event running, and never suggested to book in advance (they offered slot 8 pm for 6:20 walk in) with small kid along, I am not sure they understand kid doesn’t wait fr 8 pm and the didn’t even bother to offer kids meal to at least address the kid. We ended up eating on the side fries and in room dining which takes about 45 min to 1 hour
- safari we were told 9 am but then actual time was 10 am pick so we ended up waiting 1 hour at the lobby - not sure if they understand kid doesn’t like to sit for 1 hour not doing anything and we rushed our breakfast for the timing
- free juices for kids and breakfast buffet is not fresh juice unless you paid then got fresh juice
- breakfast buffet ok ok, no teh tarik 😝
- breakfast very limited options for vegetarian
- the shuttle dropped us at the emerald class lounge where we were economh means we had to walk with baby and luggage all the way
- you can only access dining area of indigo subject to you book in advance
- for beach you need buggy to go not you can just walk as and when you want
I would say, okay but not something I like, but it’s nearer to ferry
