NNURIN ASYIKIN 2004this is gonna be a full review and honest opinion based on my experience while i was here. im a female hijabi from malaysia. as someone who came here alone, i felt very very safe and comfortable while im staying here. 1. let’s start with the owner first. fyi this stay is run by a mother and daughter. the owner is so sweet and very helpful 😭 couldn’t thank her enough. 🙏🏻 before i came here, i prayed to so hard that Allah will sent me good people to ease my journey in China, and He listened. for some reason, my Alipay and Wechatpay got problems to make payment. so i was really really hungry for the whole day because i couldn’t buy any food and i don’t have any cash. thankfully I still have my instant noodle, so i asked the owner if i could have a plastic bowl, that alone would be enough so i can eat. soon she came upstairs with 2 plastic bowl and 2 chopsticks. after that, i was trying to charge my phone but apparently my universal charger wasn’t universal-ing?? 💀 so i asked the owner again if she got any charger for me to borrow. and yes she even offered to sent it to my room. mind you my room was at the highest level of that building (lvl 5 if im not mistaken )😭 i feel bad but thankful at the same time. the next day, i finally solved my problems by using Touch n Go. thankfully that worked. since then i had trust issues with online payment, so i decided to exchange some RMB cash with the owner. fast forward she did helped me, and she found out that i was hungry 😭😭 look at the picture that i included if you wanna see. she gave me A BOX of food and some water 😭 . i don’t think you could get this kind of hospitality elsewhere 🥹 that’s how you know the owner actually cared for people who are staying with her. very thankful for that!! (forgot to include at the beginning, when i arrived there, the owner helped me to carry my luggage all the way to my room. no lift btw. she strong 💀🙏🏻) 2. now let’s talk about the room. basically it’s a 5 star hotel room that is located far from shanghai with cheeeeaper price. amazing!! comfy bed, pretty lights, soft and high quality toothbrush, clean toilet with warm seats (very comfortable!!!), clean shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in big sized bottle. there are steam iron for you to iron your clothes as well (can ask it from the owner, she’ll help you with that.) honestly i have nothing to complain. even the curtains are automatic. just come here and experience it yourself. i wish i could stay a little longer because of the bathtub 😞 and yeah don’t worry about *****. at first i was worried if the room was cheap because it’s ******* but nahh, i had fun!! 3. transportation. they offer transfer service from train station to their hotel for 35 yuan/person. 140 yuan if you don’t want to share with others. if you’re heading back to the train station, the fare will depends on what time you’ll be going from the hotel. in my case, i have to check-out at 7:30AM since my train will depart at 09:50AM. its very early so fare costed me 60 yuan. so yeah if your train departs early then you should take note on this one. on the other hand, the owner will take you to wangxian valley for free (and return as well) which is very convenient. 4. food don’t worry about food because there’s so many food you can get just by walking. i also saw some white tourists walking around and eat there. but a little heads up to muslim brothers/sisters, the only halal restaurant here is located inside the wangxian valley. so do yourselves a little favor, make sure you have enough food before you come here. as for drinks, you can get auntea jenny there by walking 🫶🏻🫶🏻 10/10!! it was really worth it!!

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite new, conveniently located in a prominent and easy-to-find spot. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. Environment: The surrounding area boasts numerous dining options, supermarkets, bars, and late-night eateries. Takeaway services are also readily available, and you'll find no shortage of tea shops and cafes. The hotel itself features restaurants, and the breakfast spread offers a good variety with decent taste – truly comprehensive and satisfying. Service: Fantastic! The staff were very friendly and always smiling.👍 Facilities: A point to note for first-time visitors to Yichun – not all rooms at the hotel include hot spring tickets.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at MY Hotel (Nanchang Hengmao Dream Times, Xiejiacun Metro Station Branch), and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality, comfort, and convenience offered at such a reasonable price. This property is a great option for both business and leisure travelers who want to enjoy a clean, modern hotel with easy access to Nanchang’s main attractions. First of all, the location is very convenient. The hotel is situated near Xiejiacun Metro Station, which makes it extremely easy to travel around the city. Within just a few stops, you can reach major landmarks such as Bayi Square, Tengwang Pavilion, and the Gan River. The Hengmao Dream Times shopping complex is also nearby, offering a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. This combination of metro access and entertainment options makes the hotel an excellent base for exploring Nanchang. The hotel itself feels new and well maintained. The lobby is welcoming and efficient, and check-in was smooth and straightforward. The staff members were friendly and professional, and although their English ability was limited, they tried their best to assist, and translation apps worked fine. I appreciated their polite attitude and willingness to help with directions and local advice. My room was clean, bright, and modern. The design is simple but stylish, with comfortable bedding and practical furniture. The bed was large and supportive, with fresh linens and soft pillows that made for a good night’s sleep. The room also had air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a small desk area, which was helpful for doing some work during my stay. Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which is essential for travelers who need to stay connected. The bathroom was also very good—compact but functional, with a nice shower, clean towels, and basic toiletries provided. Everything worked well, and hot water was consistent. Housekeeping did a good job in keeping the room tidy and replenishing supplies. One of the highlights for me was the quiet environment. Even though the hotel is in a lively district, the rooms are well-insulated, and I was able to rest comfortably without noise disturbances. This made a big difference after long days of exploring the city. If I had to mention a small drawback, it would be that the hotel does not have many luxury amenities like a gym, pool, or large restaurant. However, for the price and location, it offers exactly what most travelers need: a safe, clean, and comfortable place to stay with reliable service. In summary, MY Hotel (Nanchang Hengmao Dream Times, Xiejiacun Metro Station Branch) offers excellent value for money. With its convenient metro access, clean and modern rooms, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, it is a very good choice for visitors to Nanchang. I would happily recommend it to other travelers and would consider staying here again on my next trip.

GGuest UserThe environment was decent, and breakfast offered a good variety. Overall, the service was okay. However, the main drawback, likely due to management issues, was the poor elevator experience. Not only were there cigarette butts, but the long bench inside was covered in thick dust, as were other parts of the elevator. Upon entering the restroom, a strong smell of urine hit me. Since the room's door closer was faulty, and it was late, I decided to just deal with it and go to sleep. Around 5 AM, I was woken up by the noisy street outside. The room phone was useless, so I eventually had to call the front desk to get engineering to come fix it, which took over ten minutes. At breakfast, I had to look through more than ten cups, all of which were chipped. It was truly a very disappointing experience.

AAngel5988Five-star review! If you're coming to Wangxian Valley, you absolutely must stay at Xian Su within the scenic area; the experience is completely different. The room was very clean, and the decor had a wonderful ancient, mystical, and fantasy vibe. You can open the window to a stunning view of the canyon and mountains. In the early morning, it's quiet with few people, and at night, the cliffside lanterns light up, creating a breathtaking scene. You get to enjoy the deserted night view all to yourself, no need to battle crowds for photos. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, helping with luggage, and we received welcome snacks upon check-in. The package included tickets for two and breakfast, offering great value for money. Staying inside the scenic area allows for free entry and exit morning and night, providing an immersive experience while avoiding large crowds. It really maximizes the experience, something guesthouses outside the valley simply can't replicate. Highly recommended, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserTraveling with family. Facilities: Parking right outside the door is very convenient, and it's downstairs. However, it's stairs, not an elevator, but for an overnight stay, just grabbing a toiletry bag is fine, so it's still quite convenient. Hygiene: The hygiene is quite good, and they even provide disposable toilet seat covers. Environment: The room is quite spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. Service: The owner is very welcoming.

AAnonymous UserI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle. My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating. The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems. We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints. The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket. Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view. We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat. Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together. The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them. The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them. The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

GGuest UserThe Xian Su hotel within Wangxian Valley is elegantly rustic, with rammed earth stilt houses built into the mountainside. Open the window and take in the stunning canyon views. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the stay includes two entrance tickets and breakfast. Your room card allows for multiple entries to the park to enjoy the night scenery. The butler provided thoughtful luggage assistance. Our cliffside room offered a breathtaking view of the starry sky, perfect for an immersive experience of the mythical night. Our specific room had a fantastic view of Wangxian Valley's classic nightscape, and the butler service was excellent, always ready to assist. Highly recommended!
