This was my first trip abroad, and safety was a big concern, so I looked at a lot of places. I finally settled on this one. At first, I thought the price was a bit high, but it really turned out to be great. First off, when checking in, I'd seen reviews saying the front desk service wasn't good. However, all three staff members I interacted with over these two days (two young women – one with excellent Chinese, one with a little Chinese – and one young man with average Chinese) had fantastic attitudes and provided great service. When we left, they even helped us call a taxi. Next, the room was very similar to the all-season hotels I stay in back home, with a minimalist wooden style and excellent cleanliness. Since we stayed two days, we requested cleaning on the second day, and when we returned in the afternoon, it was spotless. As for the location, this hotel is right on a major intersection, which is incredibly convenient. Five steps out of the hotel entrance, you can see UC diagonally to your right, and Shilla Duty Free diagonally to your left. About twenty steps to the left, across from Shilla, there's a bus stop. KFC is right next to the hotel entrance on the left. There are tons of snack shops nearby. There are also three ABC stores (one of which had super cheap shoes on discount, and two that didn't, the closest ones), and several Olive Young stores, both big and small. I'm getting sidetracked! Anyway, in short, the location, service, and room cleanliness were all excellent. If any of my friends are planning to visit, I'd definitely recommend they stay here, even if the price is a bit high. [All photos are screenshots, this front desk lady was super nice!]

Located near Hamdeok Beach, the off-season price was great. The hotel is tucked away in an alley and has a parking tower, but there aren't many flat parking spaces and they're hard to get. There's a free public parking lot not too far away.
The front desk staff were very friendly and explained how to use the parking facilities.
The breakfast was a highlight – clean, hygienic, and with a diverse selection. Even though there was only one person working in the restaurant during the off-season, she was always smiling, which brightened my mood!
The room was large, but the design lacked a bit of privacy (perhaps suitable for couples). The toilet area with a clear glass partition was a bit awkward. There were no hangers provided in the room, and the power outlets were strangely placed and blocked by furniture. The sink was designed too low – I don't know who designed it, but they should be fired.
Overall, staff/breakfast get 5 stars, location 4, and room amenities/design 3. It would still be a good choice if visiting in the summer.

Unbeatable Location, Super Efficient:
- A 5-10 minute taxi ride from Jeju Airport, plus a hotel shuttle for stress-free early morning flights.
- Lotte Duty-Free is right downstairs, and Shilla Duty-Free and Olive Young are within walking distance. Shop till you drop and easily stash your haul in your room.
- Plenty of dining options nearby, including Paris Baguette, 7-Eleven, CU, and various international restaurants – perfect for a late-night snack.
Clean, Comfortable, Thoughtful Amenities:
- Rooms are new, spotless, and odor-free. Some room types are quite spacious by Korean standards.
- Equipped with Chinese plugs/sockets, so no adapter needed.
- Separate wet/dry areas in the bathroom, with a bidet, and comfortable bedding.
- Some sea-view rooms offer a dual view of the airport planes and the ocean.
Excellent Service, Flexible & Convenient:
- Front desk staff offer Chinese language service, making communication a breeze.
- Early check-in is available if rooms are free, and check-out is quick.

Room was clean
The location of the hotel was good. The balcony was small, but it was still big enough to enjoy breakfast during warm weather, and the view was very beautiful.
However, I should mention something for people who are sensitive to noise or have trouble sleeping. The hotel is close to the airport, which makes transportation very convenient, but you may hear airplanes at night while sleeping.
There is also a large square in front of the hotel where people walk, ride bicycles, walk their pets, and sometimes gather to sing songs together. It’s actually a nice and lively activity, but again, people who are sensitive to noise may want to keep this in mind. Personally, I am not very sensitive to noise, so although I heard the sounds, I was still able to sleep comfortably.
Since we were traveling with a baby and using a stroller, the room felt a bit small for us, so I wanted to mention that as well. Overall, the room was clean. However, the hotel no longer provides the complimentary personal care kits (like toothbrush and toothpaste) that used to be common in hotels, so it’s better to bring your own. The shampoo provided was also not very good and there was no separate conditioner, so I ended up buying my own.
On the positive side, there are markets right behind and next to the hotel, which was very convenient. The gym was quite small, probably suitable for about five people.
There was also a parking issue. The hotel’s own parking area is very small for such a large hotel, so we were directed to park on the street in front of the hotel. It was free, but it may still be inconvenient for families with children.
The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful.

It's about a ten-minute taxi ride from the city center, and also about ten minutes to the airport. If you have an early morning flight, it might be hard to hail a taxi, but you can ask the front desk to help you call one if you don't have a local SIM card. The rooms offer ocean views, and you can take a walk to the lighthouse. There's an Emart nearby, though smaller than the one in the city center. You can see many planes taking off and landing. The hotel front desk staff speak English. It's very close to Chilseong-ro street and there's also a McDonald's. The hotel has a BBQ restaurant on the ground floor that offers room service, and a BHC chicken place is just a few minutes' walk away.

Looking for a healing getaway with my husband, choosing a place to stay in Jeju was a big decision. Hygge turned out to be perfect! The location is great, and being able to watch the sunrise and see Hyungje Island right from our room was truly the best part. The owner was also very kind, and the hotel's interior, decorated in a charming, cozy style, was wonderful. It’s definitely a place I’d love to visit again on our next trip.

Had a great stay in Jeju. The hotel is spacious, clean, and very well maintained, with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast had a good variety and was enjoyable. The overall atmosphere is very relaxing, making it suitable for both families and couples. The hotel have outlets for May different type of brands, good for shopping. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. When we checked in, we paid extra to upgrade to a sea-view room on the 31st floor. However, around 2 or 3 AM, a loud wind noise, like a hair dryer on a low setting, started and woke us up. We contacted housekeeping to investigate, and at 5 AM, they asked us to pack our bags and move rooms. There was no apology or compensation whatsoever. We were moved to a lower-floor room of the same category. Because we barely slept the night before, our entire itinerary the next day felt sluggish. Upon returning home, I immediately contacted Ctrip to file a complaint. After the Ctrip representative spoke with the hotel's agent, the response we received was that the hotel booking was completed, payment was made, and therefore, no action would be taken. I really have to say that service in Korea is incomparable to what we get at home. Avoid Grand Hyatt Jeju.

I personally like the location. Near to airport. Taxi fare less than 6500won. Bus Stop just outside of the hotel. 7-11 next door too. Didn't try out the breakfast, gym and swimming pool so no comments on that. Understood that 2000won is needed for towel fee if you choose to swim. You can find their 2 wasing machines and 2 dryers at B2. 5000won for washing and 5000won for drying. 500won for a small pack of powder detergent.
Thank you to the ajummas that did room cleaning, they were friendly and well mannered. Pretty disappointed with the front desk staff instead, they weren't as friendly as I would hope them to be. The front staff just asked us for our name and the number of luggage and gave as a tag which we need to tag it on our luggage ourselves. and also, the luggage we would have to leave them at the ba
Luggage area and collect ourselves once we were done.
This can be better managed by the hotel front desk staff than the hotel guests instead. Just a suggestion. Thank you.

Waiting for the year-end, my body and mind relax in the warm water. The breakfast really highlights the natural flavors of the ingredients. The pho, kimchi pork stew, and sea urchin seaweed soup are all superb. Looking out at Beomseom Island makes me reflect on life. The Olle Market, with its many food options, is also conveniently located just 6.7 kilometers away by car.

GGuest UserI stayed at Maison Glad Jeju for 4 days and 3 nights, and overall it was a pleasant experience.
• Surprise discovery: I didn’t realize the hotel also has a ****** attached until my airport driver mentioned it.
• Front desk service: Check‑in and check‑out were smooth, staff were friendly, and they spoke English very well.
• Room quality: The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
• Convenience: There’s a convenience store inside the hotel, though it’s not open 24 hours.
• Parking: We received a parking allowance for our rental car, which was very helpful.
✨ Overall: A good stay with friendly service, comfortable rooms, and useful amenities. I’d recommend it for travelers looking for a convenient base in Jeju.

DDayuangeFive-star review all around! The hotel's facilities are perfect. Even though the standard rooms aren't huge, they are clean and well-maintained. They have both indoor and outdoor pools, and the outdoor one is heated, so you can swim even in winter. Breakfast is a bit pricey, but it's really good.
GGuest UserLove the sea view! Very clean, cosy sea-facing stay with heated flooring. Friendly & helpful owner Mr Yun who speaks English. Free parking is available if u drive. However do note the main road in front can be quite heavy traffic.
Things to note: no toothbrush bring your own. 4-storey high walk up home stay, no elevator means u have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Clear your own trash which is not difficult, just need bring it down to trash bin corner.

GGuest UserThe rooms are incredibly spacious, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which was so convenient. I came for a family vacation with my three daughters and I'm very satisfied with the affordable price. Just one thing, overall it's clean, but it would be perfect if the floor cleaning was a bit more thorough. Keep up the good work!
GGuest UserOur group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained.
However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds.

AAnonymous UserDo not get taken in by the photo. When we arrived, we were so shocked by how old the place looks compared to the picture. The lobby was empty, there's no one by the door at anytime, only the receptionist and they barely acknowledge you till you queue and reach them. They are not fluent in English or Chinese, barely able to communicate at all, till google translate. The room looks like the picture but doesn't look like the picture as well, everything is in the right place but it looks nothing like the pictures. Way less bright, way less glam, and everything is broken literally. Our tap is faulty, it's a struggle to use the basin everyday. The curtain fell and was lying on the floor. The hook for your towel is broken and dangling. The charging socket is broken and can't charge. The shower leaks water even if you're not using then rain shower. And they only allow request of additional 2 bottles of water. Mini bar is fully chargeable. There is no smart TV or any phone screen mimicking, so the TV is useless. You want to pull the curtains? Gotta climb up the tub and walk on it and pull. All in all, very disappointing and not worth my money. It is considered affordable but tbh you could do better. I would've booked another hotel instantly if this was refundable 5 mins inside the room. 3 out of 10 for me.
Tthe solo traveler 3the service was great. check in and check out were both smooth and fast. most guests were families with small children, but no problems in terms of noises or any disturbances. the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. the only thing that was a huge letdown was the view from the room. it was mostly obstructed by the building entrance’s facade, there was little view to enjoy.
