Hotel Whistlelark is honestly a good hotel for a comfortable stay and is definitely value for money.Has everything you need.Coin Laundry,friendly staff that speaks english,good location and relatively modern rooms.Located near Ocean Suites like a 5 minute walk (is way cheaper than Ocean Suites) which is popular pickup point for nearly all tours in Jeju.Free refill of water on the 2nd floor also. One complaint I have:The laundry is 24 hours but the light gets switched off after 10pm so that's something that could be fixed.Was working in semi darkness.... Other than that had an amazing stay and would pick here again if I came to Jeju!

This is an excellent hotel for a peaceful getaway. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including a couple of shops, cafes, restaurants, and souvenir stores. It might be a bit tricky without a car due to the road layout, but that's typical for those traveling around Jeju. Waking up to the sound of the waves is incredible, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. Even if you don't speak Korean, they'll actively communicate with you using a translator and are always ready to help. I have nothing but positive feelings about this hotel. Good luck and prosperity to your business! If I'm ever in Jeju again, I'll definitely book this place.

This hotel is right by the sea with unbeatable ocean views. It's also very close to the airport. However, getting to tourist attractions by public transport isn't very convenient, as you need to transfer. It's quite close to Qixing Street, though. The service was pretty good. My daughter got sick right after we arrived, and I asked the front desk staff for advice on the emergency room. Later, a local Chinese tour guide told me we picked the right hospital, so I'm very grateful to the front desk guy. The room we stayed in was nice, and hygiene was good. The only thing I couldn't understand is why there wasn't a single power outlet in the bathroom; I had to go outside to blow-dry my hair.

The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport. There's a bus stop right outside, and the 202 bus makes it easy to explore the west side of the city at a leisurely pace. Upon check-in, we received two complimentary coffees. I absolutely loved the hotel's coffee shop and the walking path outside by the pool – the endless glass-like sea views were incredibly therapeutic! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.

I came to Jeju for a 3-day relaxing getaway, and this hotel exceeded all my expectations. My main criterion when choosing a hotel was having a swimming pool, as I really wanted to swim but wasn’t sure whether the sea would already be warm enough. The rooftop pool was perfect for both swimming and relaxing after my hike up Hallasan. The views of the ocean were stunning, and on my first evening I was even able to watch fireworks over Saeyeongyo Bridge directly from the pool. The location is excellent, especially for travelers without a car. I do not have a driver’s license and relied entirely on public transportation during my stay. The hotel is surrounded by bus stops, and I was able to reach Hallasan and Jeju Airport by limousine bus without transfers. The airport bus stop is almost right in front of the hotel entrance. My room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed, including slippers, towels, bathrobes, and toiletries. The view from the room was beautiful, overlooking the park, waterfalls, the ocean, and Saeseom Island. The hotel also has a CU convenience store, a yoga room, and a fitness center. Breakfast is available as a buffet with a mix of Korean and Western dishes. Even though I arrived close to the end of breakfast service, there was still plenty of food available and I was able to put together a well-balanced meal. What impressed me most was the kindness of the staff. I asked one of the receptionists for recommendations on beaches and seafood restaurants, and she kindly printed out a detailed list that the hotel staff had prepared specifically for guests. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Jeju.

The hotel's location is about 9 kilometers from the airport, but that road to the airport is often quite congested, so you need to plan your time accordingly. **Facilities**: The room was advertised as 40 square meters, but it felt more like 20 square meters in reality, comparable to a budget hotel like an all-season hotel in China. The hotel claims to have a rooftop pool and a rooftop lounge, but it's all a scam. They said it was under maintenance, but when I went to see it, it was just a bunch of derelict stuff. **Hygiene**: It's acceptable. If you're just staying overnight, it's manageable. **Environment**: There's not much of an environment to speak of. The first floor constantly smelled of cooking fumes, which was always present. The hotel is very old, with a strong sense of age. I heard locals like to hold banquets here. **Service**: This is where I need to elaborate. If you say there's no differential treatment, that's simply not true. Despite the entire floor not being fully occupied (meaning I was the only guest), they gave me a room right by the stairwell. There were no other guests on that floor all night. The locals checking in at the same time weren't on this floor either. If you think about it, you'll understand. **Picture 1**: No bottled water. Apparently, they use something else. The front desk staff's English isn't good, and their Mandarin isn't either (they claim to have Chinese-speaking service, but I didn't see it). **Picture 2**: The drainage was poor; you'd be standing in dirty water when showering. **Picture 3**: I paid a premium for a sea-view room, and they gave me this low-floor room with a huge advertisement right outside my window. Everything I've said is a true account of my experience and feelings!

Getting here from the city center involves taking bus 510 and then about a ten-minute walk. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring attractions near Seogwipo. They offer luggage storage, even utilizing a disused restaurant space specifically for this. The sea view rooms are well-located; I'd recommend requesting a higher floor for the best views, as my room was on the fifth. The room itself was just average; it felt quite cramped with two suitcases opened, and the plush carpet looked a bit tired. The bathroom had a shower, which I actually liked as it's quite uncommon in Jeju. There's an infinity pool on the 7th floor, though it does incur an extra charge. While the front desk staff's English was passable, most communication was still in Korean. Overall, it felt like a domestic budget hotel with a sea view, which is understandable given the price point.

The room didn't seem to have been cleaned properly. The bottled water in the mini-fridge was already opened, and there was plastic trash left by the previous guest in the bathroom, which hurt my foot when I stepped on it. The showerhead was clogged, and there was some unknown white lotion next to the bathroom mirror. They also didn't provide a loofah. Overall, it was a very bad experience. However, the hotel's buffet breakfast was excellent, and the adjoining 'Mythology Park' water park was fun with a good atmosphere and not too crowded. It also had a spa.

It's right behind the airport, so it only takes 10 minutes to get to the car rental return. You can hear planes taking off, but it doesn't disturb your sleep. There's also a park right in front, which was great for walks along the coastal road. The hotel seems a bit old, but it was clean and decent. Everything was satisfactory, except for the weak water pressure. 😀
