Henna Hotel

OVERALL: A lovely boutique hotel with beautiful cave and rock decor. I picked it because the decor is a mixture of both, unlike some other ones in the area. Service is amazing and the staff is really helpful. They offered to help transport my suitcase up to the bedroom area of my room. I went during the beginning of the season in late March and the hotel kindly upgraded me for free to a deluxe room, which has two levels, the bathroom below and the sleeping area above. In the room, Two windows open to views of goreme town and the balloons if you get up early enough to see them before sunrise. They also recently expanded their terrace offerings it seems ao now they actually have multiple, without different pillow set up. Breakfast is served open buffet style from 8-10am, variety is limited but there are some Turkish meze delicacies, menemem and boiled egg daily, sausages, a hot pastry, breads, cheese and ham, and for drinks - juices, tea and coffee, it's fair. AMENITIES: The bathroom is VERY spacious, but doesn't really come with much actually useful amenities. There are no additional personal care kits whatsoever - so no shower caps, cotton swabs, little things like that. There is a stand shower at one corner, a bath tub at another end and a toilet bowl in the middle with a sink and mirror as well on another area. Door comes with a full body mirror. It's beautifully designed by the layout is a bit odd and I think the hotel can work on adding little details to enhance the bathroom experience because there is totally potential for that. But hot water, drains and flush all work just fine, so it's definitely functional. LOCATION: The hotel is also conveniently located around 10-12 mins away from the famous Sunrise/Sunset point for balloon viewing (you get to see thw balloons take off there). The fact that it's walkable is amazing! It's located on a little side hill, and Goreme's main street is just a 20 steps slope away.

I had an incredible experience at Sultan Cave Suites during my recent stay. From the moment we landed, the hotel provided a free ride from the airport to the hotel, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. The staff went above and beyond, with a special shout-out to a wonderfully helpful team member who assisted me with my heavy luggage, proving that strength comes in all forms. What truly impressed me was the staff's local knowledge. Despite being a petite individual, one staff member knew the area like the back of her hand. She not only recommended fantastic nearby markets and restaurants but also guided us to a hidden gem for a delightful breakfast experience. Late check-in wasn't an issue at all. The staff graciously helped us order food during the night, ensuring we didn't go to bed hungry. The hotel's strategic location near the airport was incredibly convenient for our transit stay. The next morning, they provided a reasonably priced shuttle service to ensure we caught our flight on time, completing the seamless experience. I also have to mention the delightful night staff member who was not only cute but also warm and friendly. Her willingness to share local insights added a personal touch to our stay. In summary, Sultan Cave Suites is a gem for transit flight stays. I'm grateful for the exceptional service and will undoubtedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

The room was a bit small and dark but it was alright. The view and the area was perfect. We came during the new year and the fireworks was amazingly spectacular and they also gave us some sweet little treats(cupcakes and keychains) which was quite thoughtful of them. The breakfast was super great, would love to come back just for it. We booked the Turkish dinner night with them at 40euro, which was cheaper then from some online sites.

Just finished staying at this hotel, it was great! The staff's service was really great! The staff especially mentioned AYŞE who will take you through the hotel's facilities and help you deliver your luggage to the hotel. The breakfast was very rich and delicious, and the scenery of the hotel was very charming, both the scenery outside the window and the overall atmosphere were unforgettable. Whether you are here to relax and vacation or travel for work, this is a highly recommended choice! Looking forward to coming again next time!

We spent one night at the hotel. We arrived early in the morning, left our things, and went to wander around the city. We were met at the hotel by very friendly guys who told us everything and showed us everything! thank you very much Begimai!!! The girl greeted us like old friends! The hotel is located on the highest point of the city and from a very authentic terrace you have a gorgeous view of the entire city! It would be a wonderful evening spent on the terrace with exactly the same enthusiastic guests! Breakfast is worth a special delight! Abundance of everything! and also with this view I recommend this hotel not only because of the view, but also the excellent attitude towards guests

The hotel's breakfast is very good and also provides cherries 🍒 The hotel is very new, the location is quiet, and I watched hot air balloons on the terrace There is good parking nearby and it is very convenient to go to the town. It would be nice if the bed could be bigger.

Location was not amazing as it was 10-15 mins walk to nearby restaurants however I quite like the peacefulness. We didn't explore much of the facilities as we were out most of the time and the outside just seems to chilly. I honestly would not mind stay here again because of the resident cats and dogs. However, the service given by one of the management staff was so disgusting, it left a bad taste in my mouth eventhough 2 months has passed since we checked out. His name, Haki. We checked in early at 10am but was no expecting any room but wanted to leave our bags. His smile was insincere to start. He proceeds on to share all the various tours happening and asked us our interest. I mentioned we have booked balloon tour. He asked how much we booked it for with an attitude. I replied ”Affordable...... about 60-70 Euros”. He replied with such arrogance and judgmental tone ”Oh i am not sure about that offer, i have never heard that company” Well, guess who had an amazing sunrise balloon experience. Thats right...........us!

The pool deck was nice and relaxing as was the balcony. The house cleaning service was below expectationn and due to a mix up our room was left open for a few hours. The one bed sheet was bundled up and thrown on the wardrobe when the room was cleaned. The front desk was super helpful. However, due to our mix up they upgraed our room to a really cool cave room that had a turkish bath, sauna, and jacuzzi tub. This bath was excellent. Yet, the airconditioner leaked all night... drip drip drip and the room was too hot without it. The next morning the light went out. POP. We had to check out in a pitch black cave using our cellphone lights as there are no windows or redundancy lights. All that, the price is reasonable and the location is great. I would stay here again, but I know my wife wouldn't. Oh the pool is maybe a bit too cold and too deep. I am 180cm 5'11 and could barely stand. 2 diamonds as there are some updates needed and maintainace issues that are required to be 3 or higher.

Beautiful, unique, well-managed hotel with a complete set of amenities including delicious breakfast, scenic pool, and comfortable spa. There is a golf cart shuttle that brings you around the resort, and we were picked up always within 2-3 minutes of calling the front desk - even at 3:30am for our hot air balloon ride. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CONTACTING THE HOTEL DIRECTLY FOR HOT AIR BALLOON RIDES AS THE FAMILY THAT OWNS THE HOTEL OWNS ROYAL BALLOONS, which is the premier balloon company. I really wanted to book with Royal but they were booked out online for several weeks. When I arrived to the hotel, they had spaces available for their guests.

I book this hotel after one week of thinking haha I really want a hotel with the best balloon view. Best decision ever! Since I arrived at night, I couldn’t really see anything when I went out around 11pm. But the morning came and damn I realized everything was near! The town itself is very close literally 5mins away ahaha. Receptionists especially was very nice huhu I really thanked them from the bottom of my heart especially the one who helped me checked in because initially a different room was given but I talked to him and although it was midnight, he promptly gave me the original room I booked. He said there might be some misunderstandings with the Trip.com but no problems with me at all because he solved it straight away. The room was big for me and the jacuzzi was the best hehe the food was okay. I am a picky eater but glad they have lots of varieties. Will definitely book this hotel again. BALLOON VIEW AT THIS HOTEL WAS THE BEST PART ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
