Beyond expectations! Clean, great service, water park, and a fantastic café & mini-mart! 🌟☕️ I chose this place by coincidence because I didn't have transportation near the border and saw only a few reviews online. However, everything turned out to be beyond my expectations! Cleanliness & Comfort: Everything is spotless and brand new. The bed is super soft and comfortable perfect for a good night's rest after traveling. Great Facilities: They have an on-site water park, which is a great bonus for relaxing. A convenient mini-mart right on-site for daily essentials. A café serving wonderfully strong and delicious coffee that coffee lovers will surely enjoy. Outstanding Service: The staff went above and beyond! Nice location one street away from the river. Quite location and around 1km to backpacker hostel, where most of the bus stops. Here you can book for your cave visits, boating and kayaking.

This family run hotel/homestay is located on the main(well only tbh) street in Phong Nha village, short walk from the ticket office for the phong nha caves. It features a rooftoop bar with really nice view, nice (and deep) pool, and a comfortable room(our was looking over the pool). Most of all the family running the place are very friendly and helpful. The reception has loads of brochures for all kinds of tours and they can also help you with booking buses. The breakfast is simple, but tasty. Overall, recommended.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very large and clean, and we especially liked the shower (very quick hot water and good water pressure). Breakfast in the restaurant varied (sometimes buffet, sometimes à la carte), and the selection wasn't very extensive (especially the continental dishes). The dinner menu didn't particularly impress us either. We highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Dong Hoi.

My family just had a quite random visit to Phong Nha. Originally, the plan was a bit longer, but due to a little change of the route to continue the new journey, the whole family only stayed here for 2 days 1 night. Although the time is short and arrived earlier than expected, the experience received is extremely complete. Here are some plus points (and a little lovely minus points) that I want to share again to everyone: 🏡 Rooms & Space: Very chill mountain view Plus points: My family booked 2 rooms for 4 people. The room is spacious, clean and has a very airy view of the mountains. The big bright spot of the homestay is that the large swimming pool area, bathing or check-in photos are all standard. Small minus points: In front of the room view, there are some ”funny neighbors” spontaneously hung wet clothes n*** eyes. Looks a bit funny but the overall landscape is still very beautiful and does not affect too much to the mood of the whole family. Score 10 for hospitality: Mr. Linh, the host What impressed my family and most memorable is Mr. Linh – the owner of the homestay. Must give a special compliment for his enthusiasm and hospitality: Attentive welcome even though my family check-in quite early than the original time. Throughout my stay, the whole family was always taken care of by him. Support my family to book a car to move quickly and don't forget to give a careful notice when visiting cave spots in Phong Nha. Summary Although the schedule was short, the hospitality of the people here and the green space of Phong Nha left a good impression on my family. Definitely if I have the opportunity to return to Phong Nha, my family will still choose this place as a stopover.

A large, comfortable, quiet room, a few hundred meters from the car road, with spacious bathroom. The hotel is a very nice view of the river and many places to sit and watch it. We were very comfortable with me, while my bus arrived in Phong Nha very early and I had not booked room for the night during which my bus traveled.

The resort staff appear to be insufficiently trained, and communication between team members is often inconsistent. There seems to be a lack of coordination, which affects the overall guest experience. The facilities are also disappointing for a newly built resort. Many areas already show signs of wear and poor workmanship, including visible cracks and unfinished details that make the property feel older than it is. The swimming pool is another concern. Some edges are quite sharp, making it less suitable and potentially unsafe for children. On a positive note, the breakfast is OKAY AND The dining experience overall is quite good, with well-prepared food and enjoyable meals throughout our stay.

Stayed here multiple times when overnighting in Dong Ha for business. A good hotel with nice facilities. The property and rooms feel dated, but honestly, it's the best hotel in Dong Ha (and I believe the only 4* hotel in Dong Ha as well). Staff are always friendly and extremely helpful, and they've recently had a new gym built on the ground floor (private gym, not part of hotel) that offers more equipment than the free one available at the hotel. Breakfast is simple, but good, though dinner options are limited and a lot of the dishes were a bit lackluster. Luckily it's centrally located, so there are dozens of shops and good restaurants within a 5min walk.

Room was beautiful. View was awesome. DO NOT GET LAUNDRY DONE IN HOTEL.. I should have known better and checked prices first. A few T-Shirts and other items not more than 1kg cost us 615000 DONG. More than the taxi 1 hr taxi ride from Phong Nha and about the same as another night accommodation. (Per item charge) Also breakfast goes till 9am only. 5 minutes to 9am and had one of the staff come over and remind us that they will shut in 5 minutes while we are in the middle of eating. Breakfast selection very ordinary for such a nice hotel. Otherwise no complaints.

Muong Thanh Hotel holds a special place in my heart. They are well-organized and provide excellent service. The building is old and the facilities are a bit worn, but the service is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet, and the proximity to the beach always gives a refreshing feeling. I'm lucky to have found a hotel like this while living in Vietnam. I'm so grateful to all the hotel staff. Five stars are not enough. They are a four-star hotel, but they provide service that rivals that of a five-star hotel. I'm grateful to everyone.
