The location of the hotel is very good, close to the landmark point, the important thing is the Bad Gastein Waterfall. The hotel has complete facilities and a lounge for recreational business. There is a relaxing room with a spacious spa. There is a rooftop swimming pool. Breakfast variety, overall, I am impressed with this trip.
Nice 4-star hotel with an indoor pool and sauna.
Located right behind the central station, with convenient access to shopping areas.
Small gym; however, the lack of disposable cups was a bit inconvenient.
The mattress was not very comfortable and the pillows didn’t provide enough support, but the water pressure in the shower was strong and the temperature was just right.
Right turn out of the train station, it's incredibly close – perfect for travelers catching a train. There's a McDonald's and Burger King, and a Spar supermarket inside the station, so amenities are complete.
The train station is also a major hub, with the 150 bus going to the Lake District, making transport very convenient.
There's a free spa, but I might not necessarily want to use it.
The Austrian gentleman at the front desk was very kind and offered a telephone wake-up service, which is great for those needing to catch an early train.
The room isn't as stylish as the exterior, but it's perfectly adequate and came with a large bottle of water.
You need to pay the city tax separately at the front desk, which is 3.55 euros per person per night and can be paid by card.
A tourist bus card will be automatically sent to your email.

Great location in Zell am See, easy walk to the lake in 5 minutes, 15 minutes from Kaprin for skiing or hiking. Easy access to beautiful Salzburg. Simple, clean with a good traditional breakfast. Good price gor this area!
The location was perfect, scenic and right in town. The front desk person was very helpful with parking, however better external signage from the hotel would have been helpful. While the room was small, the bathroom was too small. The room was quiet from outside noise.
The hotel was more conveniently located for public transportation (trolleybus) to Salzburg city center than I had expected. Many lines pass right in front of the hotel, and there is a large shopping mall and supermarket next door, where we could easily purchase groceries during our stay.
Despite the hotel being very busy and crowded with guests, the staff at the reception desk and the breakfast restaurant were all friendly and attentive.
The view from the hotel lobby was also very nice.
One neutral point is that the hotel's entrance sign on Sterneckstrasse could be improved. We spent about two minutes walking around the building trying to find the entrance. Perhaps you could consider adding more signage or a clearer indication of where the entrance is?
Unfortunately, I encountered some issues that overshadowed these positive aspects.
Having had a very satisfying experience at a BW hotel in Bologna, Italy (which I hadn’t expected much from since it was just a one-night stay during a road trip, but everything from the breakfast to the bed and interior was fantastic), I had high expectations for this BW Plus hotel as well. Since I visited during a busy tourist season, I didn’t expect an early check-in and everything seemed fine until I entered the room in the evening.
First, I found what appeared to be traces of a previous guest in the toilet—yes, a small spot of something brown. It was tiny, less than a quarter the size of a fingernail, but it was still noticeable. I have poor eyesight and often get scolded by my wife for not noticing things like this.
I also noticed similar dried brown stains on the bathroom floor, which I assumed were the same thing.
The showerhead had limescale and mold, which didn’t leave a good impression. These are issues that could be easily resolved with a bit of bleach, and I thought it would be nice if the housekeeping staff paid more attention to such details.
The most disappointing thing was the pillow filling, which I’ll simply attach a photo of here.
Many guests, especially those from Asia, praised the breakfast highly in Google reviews, so I had some expectations. However, having stayed at many hotels in Europe, I didn’t find it particularly special. In terms of taste, I would rate it around 70-80 out of 100.
(To be specific, I would compare it to breakfast at other four-star hotels like the Grand Hotel International Prague or the Holiday Inn City in Düsseldorf)
In conclusion, despite these issues, I still want to give the hotel a 4-star rating.
This is because I was able to book a room just two weeks before my trip for a rate of around 150 euros per night, which is quite reasonable during peak season in this area. I am confident that with a little more attention to cleanliness and room hygiene, this hotel could quickly improve its customer satisfaction.
Despite the concerns about hygiene, I was overall satisfied with my stay at this hotel.
This review is written not as a criticism but as a form of encouragement.
Thank you to the staff and management at the Best Western Plus Amedia Art Salzburg hotel.

SSiti Hajar HashimI must say that my stay here with my husband was truly unforgettable. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally comfortable. The service was impeccable, and every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The facilities were outstanding.. we thoroughly enjoyed the spa, gym, and swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious and offered everything we needed to start each day perfectly. ❤️
The hotel's location was another major highlight. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Fuschl am See Bus Station, making it incredibly easy to explore the surrounding region. We were able to travel comfortably to Hallstatt, St. Wolfgang and Salzburg, all of which were easily accessible by public transport.
On a beautiful sunny day, we rented bicycles from Jacob and cycled around the stunning Fuschlsee. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, crystal-clear waters, and peaceful countryside, it was an incredible experience and undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip.
Thank you for making our stay so special and memorable. We leave with wonderful memories and would gladly return again in the future. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, exceptional hospitality, and a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Salzkammergut region. ❤️✨
GGuest UserThe newly opened hotel is by the lake. The decoration, service, facilities and environment are all first-class. The price is also very cost-effective in Europe. If we go there again, we will want to stay for a few days

MManoj RamchandaniHonestly the photos on Trip.com do not justify how beautiful the hotel it. Is an old hotel but beautifully and well maintained. The rooms ., the artistic painting in the passages and so much more is simply outstanding. The front desk was helpful and very efficiently. Honest Zell am See is a must see and stay for the Grand Hotel. Outstanding.
还还是做个有昵称的人吧Take the 150 road hotwirf station to the hotel very close, walk for 5 minutes, will pass Spartan supermarket, breakfast service is very good, coffee is cooked a pot to send up, set the family attic room to half a floor luggage At night, you can see the stars through the window.
GGuest UserWe had a truly wonderful stay in Zell am See. The accommodation was clean, beautifully maintained, and in an excellent location—close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing.
What made our experience especially memorable was the incredible kindness and support from the hotel staff. We had accidentally booked the wrong dates through an agency, but the hotel team went above and beyond to help us resolve the issue. They handled everything with such patience and generosity, which we deeply appreciated.
The property also includes access to a covered parking garage—perfect for those traveling by car. Zell am See itself is a lovely little town, perfect for a peaceful family holiday.
Highly recommended—we’d gladly return!
GGuest UserWe had a truly wonderful stay at Arabellal. Everything about the experience was exceptional. The property was spotless, and while some mention that parts of it feel a little worn, that was absolutely not our experience. We stayed in the main building, and everything felt top notch and very well maintained.
The service was outstanding throughout our stay, and the food was simply extraordinary. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations and genuinely stands out as one of the best stays we have had. We would happily return without hesitation.
飞飞往各地的PdI have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. After entering the door, the staff welcomed us warmly and let us sit in the bar with free welcome drinks, the hotel is said to have existed in the 14th century and has been renovated and well maintained. There is a nice fountain in front of the gate that feels aristocratic. There should be more than 20 rooms in total, the room is clean and warm, the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden. There is also a welcome fruit plate and private welcome letter in the room. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant in the hotel is a star Michelin, the food is delicious in many Michelin restaurants, in addition to the dishes there are many appetizers and petit fours desserts. There are also many types of breakfast (the European general breakfast is relatively simple), and you can even order foie gras, caviar, steak, etc. Overall, the service is very warm, you can feel the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff, and Christmas in an overseas holiday can be said to be very touched.
