Unexpectedly perfect, a fantastic experience! The kitchen is fully equipped, completely meeting all cooking needs. The room is clean and tidy, and the view is also great. Downstairs there's a large supermarket, and across the street, there's an Asian supermarket. It's just a few minutes' walk to Victoria Market and Melbourne Central. Dining and shopping are both incredibly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel's location is really good. It's super convenient to get to the hotel from the terminal. The room size is good for unpack & repack your stuff for the trip. Since we didn't have breakfast included in the booking. There are 2 choices for the breakfast: 1. Hotel's breakfast for 35AUD/person 2. Deli cafe. We had a sandwich & muffin there. It's quick and easy to get ready in the morning.

I booked two hotels on the Southbank of the Yarra River this time. First, let's talk about Crown Towers, which is located further west. My initial impression was luxury. It's connected to a casino and surrounded by high-end luxury stores. The lobby is incredibly grand. My second impression was how friendly it is towards Chinese guests; the elevator buttons have both Chinese and English descriptions, and there were many festive elements for Chinese New Year. The room faced the Yarra River, offering a nice view, and there were various restaurants downstairs, making dining convenient. Walking west from the hotel, away from the bustling Flinders Street Station, and experiencing the quiet, less crowded Yarra River after an evening rain, I truly understood why Melbourne has repeatedly been named the world's most livable city. It was a refreshing and comforting feeling, making me exclaim, 'Life can be so wonderful!' If you have plenty of time, you absolutely must spend a night by the Yarra River. I recommend booking a hotel on the west side. The location might be slightly less central, but it offers a great opportunity to experience the Yarra River away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Like the Crown Towers in Sydney, the one in Melbourne is also bustling and showy. This doesn't quite align with the typically understated and tranquil vibe of luxury hotels, but perhaps that's also why it offers such good value for money. The pool was crowded in the evening, but deserted in the morning, making for a refreshing swim. Additionally, it's very close to DFO South Wharf (Melbourne's largest outlet mall). We didn't know this at the time and ended up taking a taxi there from our hotel near Melbourne University later on. If we had known, it would have been much easier to just walk over from here.

We stayed at Vibe Hotel Melbourne Docklands over the weekend and had a great experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious, with a lovely view. The bathtub was a real bonus and the range of toiletries provided was excellent. It was super easy to get into the city with a tram stop right out the front. Credit to the management for maintaining such a high standard throughout the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

We checked in around 8:30-9:00 PM on June 7, 2026. The staff member at reception was incredibly kind and helpful, which made for a great start to our stay. The hot water worked perfectly, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's location, just a short walk to the sea, was fantastic. They have a swimming pool that didn't smell strongly of chlorine, and it's about 1 to 1.85m deep. There's also a hot spa right next to it with wonderfully warm water. I'd definitely want to come back! Just a heads-up: you'll need to buy your own bottled water when you check in, as none is provided in the room.

The Kimberley Hotel was really good. Staff were very accommodating considering I had booked for 5 people and trip.com allowed us to book a four bed room for 5 people (i had assumed it included a roll out bed) Was very annoyed when we arrived as very tired after a long drive, however the staff at The Kimberley Gardens Hotel were very accomodating and upgraded us to an adjoining room at no extra cost. Would not book with trip.com again, but would definitely stay at Kimberley Gardens again.

Arrived past midnight from Melbourne, and had contacted the hotel in advance to leave my room key in a lockbox, which made check-in a breeze. Since it was my first time and at night, finding the room took a little while. I chose the Classic room type, and after speaking with the hotel, they were able to add a rollaway bed in the hallway for my 8-year-old child. Breakfast was included with the stay; while the selection wasn't huge, it was filling enough. The hotel's hot spring is also very famous and requires an extra fee, though there are package deals that include both accommodation and the hot spring, which are more cost-effective. The hotel is only a 40-minute drive from Sovereign Hill, making it suitable for a day trip. It's also not far from the attractions in Daylesford. This is definitely a hotel I'd patronize again on my next visit to the town! 😊

The best thing of this hotel is providing free pick up and drop off from and to the airport. Coming from overseas without Aussie phone no is not a problem. Just go to the information counter and tell the staff about the free pick up service and they will help to call and then will tell you where to wait.  The waiting area is very near to the information counter and easy to find.

I stayed in a room on the 69th floor with views of Melbourne city center, and the vista was truly impeccable. Day or night, the captivating cityscapes alone made the stay feel worth every penny. The room itself was spacious and equipped with cooking tools, which was very convenient for travelers who enjoy a bit of light cooking. The location was also excellent, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, offering great amenities and convenience. However, there were a few drawbacks to note. Firstly, the air conditioning was problematic. The AC unit was only in the living room and its cooling capacity was quite weak. The bedroom received no cool air at all, making it a bit warm at night, which could affect sleep quality for those sensitive to heat. Additionally, the Wi-Fi speed was very slow, which would be inconvenient if you needed to work or simply wanted to browse the internet smoothly. There wasn't enough storage space in the bathroom, and during my two-day stay, only one large towel was replaced on the second day; other towels were not replenished or changed. In summary, this place boasts an excellent location and unparalleled views, but if you have high expectations for indoor temperature and internet speed, I'd suggest considering these points carefully before booking.

GGuest UserThis is an older five-star hotel with decent service. Its location is similar to Tsim Sha Tsui East in Hong Kong – quiet, with many famous shops, bars, and Western restaurants nearby. However, you'll notice a lot of tourists around when you step outside. The breakfast is pretty good and acceptable, offering standard fare like bread, eggs, coffee, cheese, ham, and fruit – all the daily essentials. The main drawback is that the hotel is too close to the two adjacent buildings. There are very few rooms with a view; most rooms get little to no sunlight throughout the day and require the curtains to be drawn almost constantly. The bathroom is particularly bad. The shower screen only covers half the area, so water inevitably splashes all over the floor, making it a mess. This means you often have to use bath towels to dry the floor, leading to constantly wet carpets and very dirty towels in the long run.

VVSingLocation: The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable. Cleanliness: This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible. Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief. Service: The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously. Facilities: Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family. Room: The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep. Overall: While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.

GGuest UserI stayed at house 13 on March 10 2025, and there a gang of black people having a party over the night at house 12. I don't want to discrimate people and I used the word ”black” merely to describe that group of people that night. The music is very loud, and from time to time there are heavy drum beats which you can feel the vibration from the floor, and sometimes they knocked the wall of the townhouse separating house 13 / 12, and I supposed no one can sleep under this situation. Both my wife and me could not sleep but scared because they are young & strong black males. Finally we turned on the light at 2 a.m. and open the curtain to tell them to quiet from our 1/F balcony when 3 of them were arguing with a woman loudly in the common backyard. They ignored and continued! At 5 p.m. it's raining but I could not tolerate anymore, I went out to tell them silence please! A big tall black guy (not brown, very black) said ” I got you!”. Frankly speaking, I was a little bit scare., but what elase I could do?! When the reception open next day (house 1?), I complained and requested a change of room (actually house). The reception ladies are very friendly and they said they had reported the police twice that night for the noise is too loud & affecting many customers staying at different houses that night. But they do the same regardless the police warning. According to the reception, she had blacklisted this customer from booking the Quest hotel chain nationalwide (Australia) anymore. When I returned to the hotel the other day, I got a thank you card apologize for what had happened together with a bottle of wine for the inconvenience caused. Although I had a nightmare in this hotel, I think it is a one-off incident, and I will still recomend this service apartment.

SstellayThis resort on Phillip Island is located next to a wetland park, with a small wildlife park right outside. It's a 20-minute drive east to the Penguin Parade and Nobbies Centre, and a 20-minute drive west on the way back to town is the chocolate factory coffee shop. The area is teeming with wild kangaroos, rabbits, grey geese, local waterbirds, and fire ants. At night, we spotted possums in the trees and then realized they were everywhere around our cabin. The room itself was an older-style holiday cottage with a full kitchen, including a dishwasher. The facilities were a bit dated and had a few minor issues. The staff were pretty unnoticeable after check-in and weren't particularly helpful. The little penguins return to their nests around 8 PM (we didn't book tickets specifically for this). Nobbies Centre is definitely worth a visit; we even saw penguins incubating eggs under the boardwalk!

SShaoxingzailaiThe room was very spacious, and it even had kitchen facilities, plus a large bed, making it perfect for a couple's trip. My only minor complaint is that the shower stall felt a bit small, and the shower head was fixed, so it couldn't be adjusted up or down, which was a bit inconvenient.
