"This was my first stay at this hotel, and I found both the facilities and service to be excellent. It's understandable to wait for a room during peak season, especially since everyone is traveling during the summer holidays. Cryin Zhang, the assistant lobby manager, served me and clearly communicated how long I'd need to wait for my room card. The service was consistently attentive and discreet. The hotel lobby offers complimentary mineral water and lemon water. Most rooms are on higher floors with fantastic views, and you can even see the ocean and scenic area from the lobby. Its downtown location makes it convenient to go anywhere, and Fisherman's Wharf is beautiful for photos. Choosing this place for my trip was truly worth the money. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. A big thank you once more to Cryin Zhang!"

"The hotel service was excellent, and the staff were all very warm and patient. They even provided 'goodnight milk' every evening, which was a thoughtful touch. Although it's located in the old town, getting around was easy, and the hotel environment was great, complete with a sea-view pool – if you time it right, you can enjoy a swim. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and would book here again next time. My only minor complaint is that the laundry room is a bit small. During peak season, with many guests, I had to wait until late at night to get a slot. Also, since it's self-service and almost unattended, other guests sometimes accidentally moved my laundry."

JJiulingbensiThis hotel is conveniently located right across the street from Quanshui Square, and it's also very close to Baotu Spring and Heima Spring. The staff are warm, attentive, and meticulous. The rooms are clean, tidy, comfortable, spacious, and bright. The breakfast offers a rich variety, featuring local specialties while also catering to diverse tastes, especially those of children. Shangri-La is truly a trustworthy choice.

GGuest UserJust checked out of the Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort, and this 3-day, 2-night 'lie-flat' vacation was truly therapeutic. We didn't have to rush to any attractions, making it perfect for families with kids or those looking for a quiet escape.
The hotel has a European castle style, and the high-ceilinged lobby with a crystal chandelier immediately sets a holiday mood upon entry. We were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view room. The room itself was generously sized, but the real highlight was the large balcony. Stepping out, you're greeted by an unobstructed view of Aoshan Bay. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from bed in the morning and the sunset over the sea in the evening – simply an amazing view. While some areas of the facilities showed a bit of age, the overall cleanliness and tidiness were quite good.
Downstairs, there's a beach where you can wade in the water or dig in the sand – the kids absolutely loved it. There's also an outdoor children's swimming pool, and hotel guests have unlimited access. Next to it, there's a small petting zoo, where feeding the animals easily fills up a whole day.

WWyangzhixiaoyangI specifically chose to stay at the Westin Qingdao, and the most impressive part of my entire trip was the service from the front desk team. Their interactions throughout were comfortable and appropriate, completely changing my preconceptions about the standardized service at high-end hotels.
When I arrived at the lobby, it happened to be a peak check-in period. I expected a long wait, but the front desk staff efficiently managed the flow, appeased waiting guests, and maintained an orderly pace. When it was my turn to check in, the process was neither too fast nor too slow – efficient yet not rushed, and they didn't just blindly prioritize speed over details. They meticulously verified information and entered data, and even proactively confirmed my check-in period and travel arrangements, which was very thoughtful.
During my stay, I temporarily changed my return time and wanted to request a late check-out. I approached the front desk with a hopeful attitude, and the staff didn't rigidly stick to the rules. They patiently listened to my situation, flexibly and appropriately handled my request, communicated with a humble and friendly attitude, and resolved the issue in a reasonable manner, which made me feel incredibly valued.
Even for minor, trivial matters, such as asking about parking rules, getting an accommodation invoice, arranging airport transfers, or inquiring about city traffic control information, whether I consulted in person at the hotel or online, the front desk answered everything in detail. Their explanations were easy to understand, and they proactively added small, easily overlooked details.
The check-out process was swift and clean. They had the paperwork ready in advance, allowing for verification and signing in a matter of seconds. They bid farewell with polite greetings, striking the perfect balance. From the front desk reception and issue resolution to the final departure, the entire front desk team provided consistent and dedicated service that was both professional and warm.
The front desk is the face of any hotel, and this Westin's front desk team absolutely upheld the standard of a five-star hotel. Their service was genuinely sincere and effortless, professional yet heartwarming. Whether I return to Qingdao to live or travel in the future, I will definitely choose this hotel again, and I sincerely recommend it to all travelers visiting Qingdao.

GGuest UserTraveling with kids, my priority was a hotel with direct beach access, which led me to choose the Hyatt Regency Qingdao Shanhai. The location is truly a huge plus! 🌊 You can go straight down to the beach from the hotel and even catch the sunrise over the sea, which significantly enhanced our experience. It's also very close to Wheat Island, Fushan Forest Park, and the Polar Ocean World, making sightseeing and excursions effortless. The executive lounge offers breathtaking views and a wide panorama, and the food quality is excellent; it's a very pleasant spot to relax.
A special thanks to Sheila ✨ from the staff. She was incredibly patient and attentive from the booking stage, helping me compare and analyze the executive and sea-view rooms, giving suitable recommendations based on my needs, and enthusiastically suggesting nearby attractions. She also arranged for a child safety rail. Since we were with a child, we also received a complimentary sand play bucket. I initially expected an ordinary freebie, but I was pleasantly surprised by its excellent craftsmanship and quality; my child absolutely loved it. The service throughout our stay was meticulous and thoughtful, making for a truly wonderful overall experience. Highly recommended for families with children! We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qingdao.

GGuest UserThe location is indeed quite convenient, and the environment is decent. As for the facilities, they're just okay – the first ten seconds of water from the bathtub faucet were rusty red. My biggest complaint, however, is about their 'free shuttle service.' If you don't offer it, don't advertise it. If you do, then actually provide it. I booked twice. The first time, they said the driver had finished for the day. The second time, they claimed they couldn't pick me up due to weather conditions. Is bad weather really an excuse? Do your drivers only operate electric vehicles or something?

The check-in process was incredibly thoughtful, with a warm welcome tea and complimentary beer offered, instantly washing away our travel fatigue upon arrival. The staff proactively introduced the hotel's kids' craft area. My child absolutely loved the various clay DIY and creative craft projects, especially playing with Cherry – they had so much fun they didn't want to leave, which was a lifesaver for us parents. We even added Cherry on WeChat, and she patiently answered all our questions, meticulously recommending nearby attractions and authentic local restaurants tailored to our family's itinerary. She also distinguished between trendy spots and family-friendly places, helping us plan routes that saved time and effort. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center. Our room was clean and comfortable, and service responses were prompt. We felt the meticulous and thoughtful care everywhere. It's perfect whether for a short break or as a base for exploring Qingdao. With its superior facilities, warm service, and fun kids' activities, it's highly recommended for family travel. Next time we visit Qingdao, Shangri-La will still be our top choice. I genuinely recommend it to anyone planning a trip with children!

The hotel's dinner buffet offered great value for money! The seafood was fresh and there was a wide variety, so much so that we ate dinner at the hotel's buffet for 3 consecutive nights. It was so convenient not having to stress about finding a restaurant.
The hotel's backyard connects to a seaside promenade, perfect for walking or cycling. Along the way, we saw many people fishing, catching huge mantis shrimp and blue crabs. It was wonderful to enjoy fresh seafood right by the ocean!

The concierge provided luggage storage, excellent assistance with getting in and out of vehicles, and package pickup services. Overall, the experience was excellent. The rooms have large, bright windows, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. The location is convenient, with many restaurants nearby. Transportation is very convenient. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.
