Dongying Wanda Realm hotel is very comfortable and the best I have stayed in Dongying. Spacious, quality rooms, very clean with excellent facilities, particularly the pool and gym, and with very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff, especially Andrew who has provided excellent assistance over my many stays. Highly recommended for short or long stays as the go-to hotel in Dongying.

I wanted a west-facing room with a view, but none were available. The front desk upgraded me to an executive room because they didn't want me to wait too long, which I really appreciate 😊.
**Amenities:** As a five-star hotel that opened in recent years, all facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. It also features smart amenities like intelligent toilets and electric curtains. There's plenty of parking available.
**Service:** The parking guidance service was very thorough, with staff guiding me from the ground level to the underground parking. The lobby concierge, luggage assistance, room service responsiveness, and breakfast service all met the standard for a business-oriented five-star hotel – not exceptionally outstanding but certainly not disappointing.
**Environment and Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent. Every corner of the room was spotless, with no stains on the carpet or furniture, and no water marks on the bathroom fixtures. The public areas were also very well-maintained; any handrail or seat was clean and tidy. The elevators, corridors, and even corners featured well-designed decorations or furnishings. The fresh flowers in public areas were a nice touch, fitting the hotel's image perfectly.
**View:** The west-facing view offers a panorama of Jinan's CBD city skyline, and on a clear day, you can see the entire city.
**Minor Drawback:** The gym isn't 24-hour. For a business hotel, this is quite a shame, as I couldn't work out after finishing work in the evening since it was already closed.

Facilities: The hotel is fully equipped with everything from a restaurant to a gym.
Hygiene: It's clean and hygienic. The lobby is spotless, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows are stunning.
Environment: As a sea-view hotel, the environment is exceptional – you can even watch the sunrise!
Service: The service is also excellent. A butler contacted me via WeChat before check-in, which was very thoughtful.

Overall, it's a standard five-star hotel, decent but nothing extraordinary – no major downsides, but no 'wow' factor either. Its main selling point is its affordability and reliability.
💰 **Incredible Value for Money**
Seriously, the value is unbeatable. Around 400 RMB a night, and with breakfast, it's about 500 RMB. Staying in a five-star hotel for about 250 RMB per person? That's an amazing deal for Yantai. If you're on a budget but still want a star-rated hotel, this is a no-brainer.
📍 **Super Convenient Location**
It's right across from Suochengli, so you can explore on foot. Getting a taxi to anywhere else is also easy, making it super convenient for tourists.
🛏️ **Hardware is Spot-On**
The bedding and bathrooms are up to par. All the hardware you'd expect from a five-star hotel meets the standards, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromise.
🍞 **Breakfast is Standard Fare**
They have everything you'd expect from a typical five-star breakfast. You'll eat well and be full, just don't expect anything mind-blowing.
💁♀️ **Service is Neither Good Nor Bad**
Basic services are fine; the check-in process goes smoothly. However, the efficiency is average, and there are no thoughtful little surprises – it's just very ordinary.
❌ **Two Minor Gripes I Must Mention**
1. The room lighting is too dim. It's not 'mood lighting'; it's genuinely hard to see. It's just too dark.
2. The TV doesn't support screen mirroring. The facilities feel a bit dated. Don't just rely on past glory; a little modernization would be nice.
👫 **Who is this hotel suitable for?**
- Traveling with friends or parents.
- Those who spend most of their time exploring and dining out, not looking to lounge at the hotel or seeking extreme service.
- Anyone who wants to stay in a five-star hotel, save money, and prioritizes value for money.
✅ **Summary:**
For value for money, this is definitely a top choice in Yantai. A five-star with breakfast for around 500 RMB is an absolute steal. If you're looking for attentive service or trendy facilities, you might want to consider other options.

My stay here was excellent, and I particularly want to highlight the hotel's shuttle service. Whether it was a late-night arrival or an early morning departure, a quick call was all it took for the shuttle to arrive promptly. The driver was very attentive, helping with luggage and significantly easing the fatigue of travel.
The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, and the soundproofing was effective – I barely heard any airplane noise, allowing for a really good rest. The front desk staff were also very welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were quick.
For travelers who need to catch early morning or late-night flights, this hotel is definitely a top choice, as it takes away all the worries about transportation.

Having visited Qingdao multiple times for both leisure and business, and having stayed in numerous high-end hotels, MGM Qingdao still manages to impress me and stands out as a genuinely recommended luxury choice. From the moment I stepped in, the brand's sophisticated style, the stunning mountain and sea views, the attentive service, and the solid quality progressively unfolded, delivering a stay experience far exceeding expectations. It truly sets the benchmark for luxury hotels in Qingdao.
The hotel's location is absolutely superb, nestled in the heart of Laoshan District, backed by the foothills of Mount Laoshan, and directly facing the golden sands of Shilaoren Beach. A short walk from the hotel brings you to the seaside, making it incredibly convenient for enjoying the sea breeze, strolling on the beach, and watching sunrises and sunsets. The surrounding transportation network is excellent, with a subway station nearby, ensuring smooth access to popular attractions like May Fourth Square, Olympic Sailing Center, and Laoshan Scenic Area. Whether for a leisurely vacation or a business trip, the location is simply impeccable. The iconic golden lion, Leo, at the main entrance is magnificent, showcasing MGM's brand heritage while symbolizing good fortune. Upon entering the lobby, I was enveloped by an artistic ambiance, with Dali's surrealist piano sculptures adorning the space. The blend of modern design and artistic aesthetics, coupled with ample natural light and elegant soft furnishings, creates a luxurious yet understated atmosphere that exudes sophistication.
What touched me the most was the hotel's service – attentive, thoughtful, and meticulous throughout, yet perfectly discreet and non-intrusive. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and swift, with staff who were warm and patient, proactively introducing hotel facilities and local tips, showing warmth in every detail. Whether I needed travel advice, assistance with a request, or help with a minor issue, the staff responded and resolved it immediately, remembering guests' preferences and needs, providing butler-style service that made every guest feel genuinely at home.

Booked an Executive King room, but since it wasn't available, the front desk attendant kindly upgraded me to an apartment suite. What more could I ask for?
Seriously, nothing but praise.
The Executive Lounge's Happy Hour offers plenty of food; if you really try, you can certainly fill up. Normally, no one mixes drinks there, but I insisted and they made me a Gin and Tonic. A little later, I went back for another, jokingly asking if a Gin and Tonic was really that challenging. They relented and concocted a passionfruit-infused drink with tonic – I forget what liquor was in it – but it was sweet and quite delicious. They truly made something out of nothing, as all the colored syrups were gone. So grateful, truly grateful.
From the living room, you get a panoramic, unobstructed view of Quancheng Square, and you can see the Guohua InterContinental across the way. I specifically checked at night, and thankfully, no one was flying drones, which is a HUGE plus.
Breakfast had a decent variety, pretty standard. Besides their special omelet-wrapped everything, I highly recommend 'Bazi Rou' (braised pork) when you're in Jinan. The presentation is plain, even uglier than what you'd find at Chaoyixing, and it comes in small pieces, but the flavor is spot on – absolutely delicious.
In the suite, they provided a bunch of random samples – all the toiletries were miniatures. I looked them up and they were Acqua di Parma. I didn't recognize the brand, so I just took them all home. Before leaving, I even called housekeeping to request another set. We Shangri-La members are basically beggars, after all.
The pool was also excellent – clean and not crowded. Swimming next to the 'Eye of Quancheng' really is a unique experience. The sauna and steam rooms were also well-maintained.
Right across from the hotel is Jinan's traditional CBD (though there's a proper, newer CBD now, quite far away). I recommend crossing through the Hang Lung Plaza opposite, and just a short walk away, you'll find Yanxi Tang, whose scallion oil carp was unexpectedly delicious.
Finally, I'd like to give a special shout-out to two staff members: Niki at the front desk and He Mengyao at the lounge. Thanks to their professional service, our trip concluded perfectly. We will definitely be back.

My stay at Shangri-La Qingdao was incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, right in Shinan District, next to MixC City, which made shopping super convenient. It's also very close to May Fourth Square, about a 10-minute walk. The location truly can't be beaten! The hotel is much more beautiful than I imagined, with a well-maintained, elegant, and clean vintage style. The facilities are excellent, including a gym, swimming pool, and tennis courts. A big thank you to Rina, who recommended so many great sightseeing spots and even gave me a small gift upon check-out. The recommended spots were very close to the Municipal Government and May Fourth Square. I was extremely satisfied with both the location and the environment – it's a truly reliable choice. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Qingdao.

AAnonymous UserThis is my second stay here this year. The location is excellent, right above MixC Mall and May Fourth Square, so it's super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The staff are all very enthusiastic, always greeting us proactively, and we even got complimentary welcome fruit in our room. The buffet restaurant added hot pot since my last visit, and I noticed some changes in other dishes too. The salmon was top-notch, and the desserts were definitely five-star quality. Overall, it's great value for money. I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again in the future.

DDoujameiLove the theme around the hotel, reminding me of the little mermaid.
The room and balcony were really spacious. Love the view and the access to the promenade.
Good gym and swimming equipments. The hotel is urge so going to rooms can be quite a trek.
Staff was very welcoming and helpful trying their best speaking English or via translating apps. Breakfast was amazing: Chinese and Western options.
There is nothing around the hotel in terms of shops but there is a mall about 10 mins by car. Ordering food takes minimum 50 mins. Make sure to ask them to deliver it at the lobby desk, otherwise, it’ll go in the box outside. For first timers, it can be difficult to access the order. Very far from the city centre, but a good quiet and relaxing option for a staycation. A lot of maritime activities available: canoeing, diving and boats etc.
LLele&mamaI have stayed in so many hotels, but this is my first review. This hotel is really great. We arrived at 9pm and wanted to stay in the same room with our parents and children. The front desk upgraded us to an executive suite for free. The room was big and clean, with L'Occitane toiletries. We also took our children to swim. The hotel adds points to Linyi. I have to give it a five-star rating and highly recommend it.

MM599736****Five-star review! Crowne Plaza Qingdao Ocean Spring Resort is incredibly worthwhile.
The room we booked was a delightful surprise. The balcony offers a direct view of Aoshan Bay, and watching the sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning! It's just a hundred meters walk to the Ocean Bromide Salt Hot Springs, so you can enjoy both a relaxing soak and ocean views. The kids' water park kept my child entertained to no end.
The window seats really set a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and even proactively upgraded our room. The service was attentive to every detail. This is definitely our top choice for a family vacation, and we'll be back next time!
