Dongying Wanda Realm hotel is very comfortable and the best I have stayed in Dongying. Spacious, quality rooms, very clean with excellent facilities, particularly the pool and gym, and with very attentive, pleasant and helpful staff, especially Andrew who has provided excellent assistance over my many stays. Highly recommended for short or long stays as the go-to hotel in Dongying.

I wanted a west-facing room with a view, but none were available. The front desk upgraded me to an executive room because they didn't want me to wait too long, which I really appreciate 😊. **Amenities:** As a five-star hotel that opened in recent years, all facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. It also features smart amenities like intelligent toilets and electric curtains. There's plenty of parking available. **Service:** The parking guidance service was very thorough, with staff guiding me from the ground level to the underground parking. The lobby concierge, luggage assistance, room service responsiveness, and breakfast service all met the standard for a business-oriented five-star hotel – not exceptionally outstanding but certainly not disappointing. **Environment and Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent. Every corner of the room was spotless, with no stains on the carpet or furniture, and no water marks on the bathroom fixtures. The public areas were also very well-maintained; any handrail or seat was clean and tidy. The elevators, corridors, and even corners featured well-designed decorations or furnishings. The fresh flowers in public areas were a nice touch, fitting the hotel's image perfectly. **View:** The west-facing view offers a panorama of Jinan's CBD city skyline, and on a clear day, you can see the entire city. **Minor Drawback:** The gym isn't 24-hour. For a business hotel, this is quite a shame, as I couldn't work out after finishing work in the evening since it was already closed.

After checking into the hotel, I was consistently impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness of Timi and Alice. Timi was patient and thorough, guiding us every step of the way, which made us feel incredibly at ease. Alice was warm and enthusiastic, her service was thoughtful and friendly, and she handled every detail wonderfully. The overall atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, making us feel especially warm. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back again~

I booked a king-sized bed, but when I got to the lobby, I wanted to ask the front desk if I could switch to two twin beds. The male staff member who was assisting me was about to check when a female front desk staff member at another computer interjected, saying it wasn't possible, they were fully booked with a group today. I'm okay with not switching; I was just asking to see if it was an option, as it would be perfect for my child to have an extra comforter. But I was a bit taken aback by the female staff member's attitude at that moment – haha, just a minor hiccup. The hotel has direct access to Wanda Plaza from B1. In the evening, my mom took two bags of trash downstairs to throw away. She carried them all the way to the 26th-floor lobby but couldn't find a large trash can. When she asked the front desk where she could dispose of them, a male staff member immediately took them from her. We were very grateful, and also a bit embarrassed. The view from upstairs overlooking Suochengli and the city nightscape is absolutely fantastic. The pool is clean, and my child loved it. The staff kept a close eye on the pool, and the rule about changing into slippers before entering the pool was very well enforced. We went to breakfast around 9 am, and there was plenty of food. However, the service quality of the restaurant staff was noticeably lower than the lobby staff. Our table didn't have cutlery, so I had to ask a young male server for some. Later, we ran out of tissues while eating, and when I asked for some, the staff member actually asked me how many I wanted! I jokingly asked, 'How big is one sheet?' Haha, the tissues were so large that my child even asked me to take a picture of him with one. These were all fun little anecdotes, and overall, I was very satisfied. 👍

The front desk staff at Ramada by Wyndham Airport are excellent; they called in advance to confirm my room reservation, so check-in was incredibly fast when I arrived. The restaurant staff are very welcoming and constantly tidying tables, and the cleaning aunties are very responsible and always greet guests. A special thanks to Mr. Wang, who noticed our luggage was heavy when taking the hotel shuttle to the terminal and proactively helped us load it into the car. The driver was also perfectly on time. Thank you!

My luxurious experience at MGM Qingdao wouldn't have been complete without Elly's excellent service! Before my trip, I inquired about the hotel's pool and gym rules, and Elly provided a timely and detailed response, clearly outlining the reservation process, opening hours, and even offering thoughtful reminders about important considerations. After checking in, I wanted to change my room's pillow type. I contacted Elly, and within minutes, the change was arranged. The response time was superb, and her attitude throughout was gentle and patient. The room facilities were in perfect condition, featuring modern light luxury decor combined with elements of Qingdao's mountains and sea. The space was bright and tidy, with 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering unobstructed sea views. High-end bedding, custom bathrooms, and smart home appliances were all well-appointed, providing a first-class living experience. The sky pool was impressive both in appearance and experience. Its high-altitude infinity design directly overlooked the Yellow Sea, with clean, constant-temperature water and a comfortable resting area. Swimming while enjoying the mountain and sea views was both pleasant and relaxing. The gym was upscale and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering full sea views and ample natural light. It was equipped with a rich variety of imported equipment and professionally divided zones to meet all types of exercise needs. Being open 24 hours, the workout experience was excellent. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Qingdao!

The hotel is great, with a good location and facilities, very close to Baotu Spring. Across the street is Henglong Plaza. However, the service has its own unique style. Shangri-La requires a deposit for guests, and for breakfast, you need to show your room card and state your name. What I disliked the most was the constant knocking on the door by staff. I didn't want to use the 'do not disturb' sign, but then there was knocking for laundry, water refills, and various other reasons. If they need something, they should call. I've never seen staff carrying water bottles around, knocking on every door to ask if guests need water – that's a bit odd. The room had already been cleaned and tidied, so why do they keep doing this?

The facilities are well-equipped, definitely up to the standard of an established five-star hotel. Shanghai and Qingdao are actually quite similar – professional, restrained, and perfectly balanced in their approach. The only difference is that Qingdao feels a bit warmer and more welcoming â˜ș. We were having afternoon tea at the lobby lounge, and the set didn't include any drinks suitable for kids. My little one was getting a bit bored, so I ordered him a virgin cocktail. The lady at the lobby bar immediately informed us about a 9.9 RMB drink special if we registered as members – what a great deal, very satisfying! The housekeeping staff also deserves a big thumbs up đŸ‘đŸ». We popped back to our room unexpectedly in the afternoon and found her cleaning. The door was open, so we just walked in. She must have worried we had the wrong room, but instead of asking directly, she first apologized for leaving the door ajar and then asked for my room key to scan it. This ensured guest safety without making anyone feel awkward. Our tight three-day, two-night itinerary didn't allow us to see all of Qingdao, but the thoughtful service at Shangri-La Qingdao gave us a perfect weekend!

GGuest UserI didn't book a hotel near the sea during the peak holiday. This hotel is a little far away, across a street, but it's still close to the beach. You can see a little bit of the sea from the upper floors, but it's mainly blocked by high-rise buildings in front. The hotel rooms are large, clean and tidy, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and although the facilities are a little old, it's still good overall, especially the thick door of the room with good sound insulation.

DDadadajingAn unexpectedly great stay! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Qingdao. This stay was incredibly satisfying! (The first 4 photos are of a corner room, the last 3 are a standard king room). 💰 Value for money: We booked a deluxe king room for „2033 for two nights. For this quality, right next to May Fourth Square, I truly think it's excellent value for money, especially with the high-floor sea view. đŸ›ïž Room experience: Initially, we were assigned room 1607, a standard king room. When we went upstairs, we happened to see the adjacent room 1608 (a corner room) being cleaned. It was noticeably larger and also had a sea view. I tried asking the front desk if we could upgrade for an extra fee, but to my surprise, they said it was actually the same room type. However, they acknowledged the corner room was indeed larger with a better view. They ended up coordinating for us to switch to it the next day. (A friendly tip for those wanting a corner room: prioritize room 08 on each floor.) 🙏 Warm service: The most touching moment was on our way back home. We were catching the high-speed train and were in such a rush that we didn't have time to go back to the hotel for our luggage. We had to call the hotel from the train station. The staff were incredibly cooperative, helping us hand our luggage over to a taxi driver, and it was successfully delivered to us in the end. This kind of crucial help really made a huge difference. 📍 Location: Vientiane City and May Fourth Square are nearby, within a 10-minute walk. Getting a taxi or taking the subway downstairs is also super convenient. Overall, whether it's the location, service attitude, room comfort, or value for money, this stay was a 99.9% success 😂. Next time I come to Qingdao, I will definitely choose The Westin again!

GGuest User** First Impression** Stepping into this resort felt like walking into a dream . The architecture is so grand, with white façades and elegant columns, it’s straight out of a fairy tale . I was greeted by the scent of salt air and lush greenery—pure bliss . The view from my room? Absolute chef’s kiss . Ocean right outside the window, waves gently crashing, and that golden sunset every evening . I could’ve stayed there forever . ** Nature & Comfort** The gardens are so well-maintained—flowers blooming everywhere, pathways winding through trees . I took a morning stroll barefoot on the grass, and it felt like nature gave me a hug . + The pool area is huge! I spent hours floating, reading, and sipping cold lemonade . Perfect for lazy days. + Room service was lightning-fast . Ordered breakfast at 7 AM, and it arrived in under 10 mins—fresh pastries, tropical fruit, everything! ** Travel Tips** If you’re going with family, book a suite near the kids’ play zone . They’ll love the splash pad and mini-golf. Don’t skip the spa—massages here are next level . I left feeling like a new person . My only regret? Not booking longer. This place is a hidden gem . I’d go back in a heartbeat .

LLele&mamaI have stayed in so many hotels, but this is my first review. This hotel is really great. We arrived at 9pm and wanted to stay in the same room with our parents and children. The front desk upgraded us to an executive suite for free. The room was big and clean, with L'Occitane toiletries. We also took our children to swim. The hotel adds points to Linyi. I have to give it a five-star rating and highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a quiet and elegant environment, and it's very clean. Our room faced the sea, and we fell asleep peacefully listening to the sound of the waves. The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive; they even added an extra mattress on the floor for our child and gave us an extra breakfast. They also promptly contacted us when we left something behind at checkout. The hotel's quality is definitely worth the price.

GGuest UserThe hotel seemed quite large, probably bustling with guests in its early days. The outdoor parking was full, so we parked underground. However, you need to ask the hotel for a parking voucher to get free parking, which wasn't mentioned during check-in or check-out. We only found out at the exit, and since it was too much hassle to go back for it, we just paid the 10 yuan parking fee. Although they gave us a sea-view room, I still want to point out a few things. Compared to average hotels, it's decent, but it falls short when compared to others in the same price range. The hotel's hardware facilities are a bit old. Be careful when pulling the cupboard and drawer doors; they're connected. I pulled a cupboard door while looking down, and the fake drawer, which is part of the door, hit my nose bridge. It hurt for several days. The carpet in the room needs better cleaning. The bedding was fine, and having a balcony was convenient. However, the toiletries provided were very basic: just two sets of toothbrushes and toothpaste, and one comb. Nothing else, not even a disposable razor. We ended up using our own electric razors from the car. Forget about shower caps or grooming kits. We had to ask for kids' slippers multiple times before they were given, along with children's dental kits, which I appreciate. I understand that not everyone has kids, so you could prepare individual kids' packs at the front desk when guests check in and offer them to families. The room only came with two bottles of water, but you can ask the front desk for more. No mini-bar or welcome fruit, but that's not a deal-breaker for us. You can enter the hot springs freely, but the connecting corridor is super cold. For winter, remember to wear a jacket over your bathrobe when going there. The small animal area is run by a third party and requires buying 10 yuan worth of carrots to enter, but you can see the animals from outside, so I won't comment much on that. Let's talk about the food. For dinner, we ordered takeout. It was probably busy, and they couldn't manage, so we had to pick it up ourselves from the lobby. The breakfast buffet wasn't great; not much variety, felt a bit like they were just trying to fill space. I only found one type of pre-made steamed bun. The congee was very watery and bland. The noodles were plain cabbage noodles with chicken broth and pork bone broth as toppings. Other toppings included green onions, cilantro, chili, some condiments, and pickled beans. My child couldn't eat spicy food, so he had plain cabbage noodles with a bit of chicken broth. My son asked why there weren't any diced meat or anything. The toppings weren't well-made; it was edible, but not enjoyable. Honestly, it's better than some budget hotels, at least it has something. Also, finding your way around the hotel is difficult; guests often have to ask each other for directions. All these issues with the food and hotel could be easily discovered if management stayed and dined here themselves. Visiting and comparing with other hotels would highlight these obvious problems. It feels like management isn't putting in the effort or supervision, letting the hotel just grow unchecked. But a hotel this large will decline without proper management, and guests will choose competitors at the same price point!
