marcryuGreat location, easy access to major attractions in Oxford. Love the literary theme of its interior and rooms. Service and concierge staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Our graduate twin room was surprisingly spacious and very pretty. Breakfast selections were plentiful and of good standard. Highly recommended if ever in Oxford.

Dr Kathrin KindThe staff were very friendly and helpful, it is a doggy friendly, it has a nice walking area and grasslands, and the hotel is very clean, we had a the amazing breakfast and also some fish and chips at the bar, we did not use the restaurant. It is far away from Downtown Oxford, but that is exactly its charm, a quiet area to wind down. Unfortunately one day the fire alarm woke all of us up at 4am in the morning. Which made us pretty sleepy, there was no compensation for this. It was interesting though to see an English Firetruck from nearby. Extra water bottles or a free drink would have been nice. The pool is only open to children for a very short amount of time. And the Dampfbad was smelling moldy.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful – very traditional, full of charm, and in a great Cotswold location close to the Farmers Dog. Staff were friendly and did their best to help, but the WiFi didn’t work at all and with no phone signal it meant no internet access, which was frustrating. The room was very hot with no real way to cool it other than opening the window, which wasn’t ideal on the ground floor. The shower kept swinging between hot and cold, and the room itself felt quite small considering the high price. Overall, a lovely setting but the stay was let down by some practical issues.

Superb location right in the centre of Oxford. Good for those travelling without car. If travelling with car, you would need to park in Westgate or Worcester street car park.
Only opened in 2024, so the facilities are new and clean. Modern chic style. Spa is small, but has steam, sauna and experience shower.
The only thing was whenever we asked for something, it took us 2-3 attempts to finally get things delivered.

It was nice stay. The location was not that great. Breakfast was not buffet but with nice view though the weather was bad that time. The kettle has leftover water and has a lot of scales. The changing room and the showers in the pool was freezing.

The hotel environment is lovely. It's next to a local horse stable and seems to be a converted manor, with plenty of rooms available. They have large rooms that can accommodate 3-4 people, which is great for family trips. It's only two bus stops away from Oxford city center, so transportation is very convenient, and it's right by the River Thames with beautiful scenery. We didn't realize at the time and booked two standard rooms, but ended up getting a large room for 4 and a large room for 3, which made it a bit more expensive than necessary. For a typical family trip, one room would have been enough.

Guest UserThe hotel is quite secluded, surrounded by residential areas. The yard is big enough for kids to run around freely. The hotel food was good. However, the breakfast policy for children did not match the description on Ctrip, and the front desk staff was very rude. They also didn't inform us about the à la carte service, which felt a bit discriminatory. You really have to fight for your rights!

戈This hotel must be a self-driving tour before you can stay. It is a 10-minute drive from Bicester Village. The hotel environment is very good in the golf course. The equipment and facilities are not new but clean and effective. The room is very large. I stayed in a room with a large double bed and a single bed. Breakfast is a traditional British breakfast. There is also a la carte grilled salted fish. It's not bad. The parking lot is free. It is a standard four-star hotel and the best hotel closest to Bicester Village.
