"The biggest advantage of this apartment hotel is that it is in a good location, located in the city center, walking to the market, monuments, subway stations (40 minutes from Metro Line 3 to the airport), downstairs is full of lively restaurants, super convenient. The room is very large, a family of three and four are no problem, the facilities are complete, you can eat like a home, the hotel provides a variety of breakfasts, overall it is good. The only downside is that the surrounding area is too lively, and the restaurant bar below is noisy until two or three in the morning every day."

"Phidias Hotel is a fantastic choice in the heart of Athens! Great location, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable small rooms. Perfect for exploring the city!"
AAndreQuite modern entrance hall and room (bathroom for disabled was not our choice). Reception friendly and provided good recommendation for late dinner.
The first morning I woke up by very loud cleaning personnel. Walls are paper thin and door not soundproof. You hear everything.
Breakfast terrace with nice view. Pool terrace too small and only available for some hours if slot pre-booked.
Music, food and shisha on the rooftop club/restaurant quite okay.
SSarah JanesThis place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example).
The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible.
Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log.
Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense.
Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.
TTAN1. Love it clean, quiet, quiant, side view of sea and port or small marina (can't tell at night because we checked in late night and left very early the next morning). But lovely. Wish had time to walk. 2. Clean room. 3. When we arrived and saw the dinner buffet which looked good, regretted not getting the half board. But we ordered from their restaurant a la carte menu and it was delicious! 4. One thing to improve is to cover the light on the aircon and the light on the TV, we could find no way to switch off the TV. We are light sleepers so the light which may not disturb others disturbed us a little bit but we put black tape over the TV but could not climb high up to aircon. 5. Too bad we did not have time to use gym or have breakfast there - another regret but front desk Evi helped arrange a breakfast bag for us to take away. If you're checking out early like us, ask for breakfast bags to take away and they gladly oblige. However, food in the breakfast bag is not as nice as having breakfast in the hotel :( I saw none of the items reviewers talked about but I told myself it is ok because they packed before breakfast hours. To get our money's worth, I must eat their breakfast in future.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located across the road from the airport terminal and adjacent to the enclosed walkway (bridge) to the Airport Train Station. From the Departure floor, you go downstairs to the Arrival level and exit Door 3 and walk across the road towards Sofitel… However, it can be a problem if it is a rainy day… I think the hotel should include instructions and a walking map from the terminal and also to and from train station..
BBelindaChengThe hotel is in an excellent location, with restaurants, shopping areas, and historical attractions all within just a few minutes’ walk.
The Premium Acropolis View & Balcony room is truly worth it. The service is outstanding — we were welcomed with champagne and desserts upon arrival, which made us feel very special. From the breakfast restaurant, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Acropolis of Athens, making the dining experience even more memorable.
The fresh orange juice felt unlimited, and the staff were warm and attentive — frequently refilling water and juice. There was also a wide variety of coffee options available. The only downside was that the selection of hot breakfast items was somewhat limited. It would be wonderful if the hotel could add a live cooking or made-to-order station to further enhance the overall experience.
Overall, I highly recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Athens, Greece — you will definitely not be disappointed.
GGuest UserThe facilities are a bit old, and the cleaning was a bit perfunctory. However, the breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options. From the 8th and 9th floor restaurants, you can catch a glimpse of the Acropolis in the distance, as well as the Aegean Sea.

GGuest UserUnfortunately this hotel was a complete nightmare, I arrived with serious eye infection and got no understanding or help from the staff. Noone helped me getting to the hospital. Then I even got a horrible room that was noisy, and NO window that could be opened. While complaining to the manager the next day I got even treated worse making up lies that I was yelling to the staff, which is NOT TRUE. I was just in pain asking for a better room or better service. Oh also they recommended the parking space for my super expensive car claiming its SAFE to leave them my car keys. I asked twice if this is really safe as my complete luggage is still in the car. When I went there to get my luggage out, the car was open!!! with the key inside. In the middle of Athens and noone there even from this parking team. like a complete fail on sooo many levels. The heating system is always on in the rooms making huge noise, also the pool downstairs has crazy machines making the whole night sounds. I am so happy I found another beautiful hotel around the corner quiet and excellent service!!!! Just dont stay there, its not good. Even the pool area is a joke and no jacuzzi in winter on the roof, they are not worth any visit!
