It is exactly next to JR station and bus station. Very convenience. The room is huge, and there is a washing machine and microwave in the room.
They implemented the exo-friendly concept, so housekeeping is limited, and amenities provided in the lobby that you can take as per your needs.
The service was excellent. I especially want to praise the front desk lady that day, because we lost something at the previous hotel the night before, and the hotel's telephone customer service could only speak Japanese, so we couldn't communicate. The front desk lady of this hotel was very patient in helping us. It took up a lot of his time, but she was always very enthusiastic.
The hotel also offers indoor and outdoor hot springs, and the restaurant in the hotel also serves good food. The breakfast in the morning was also delicious with a lot of variety. It was a very pleasant stay experience.
Usually i rarely comment on hotel. I must said this time, this hotel is super amazing:) The location is near to JR station, came out from the station walk across the street u will see a 7-11 convenient store and turn right u will see the hotel. The hotel room is damn big, the room can watch netflix and youtube somemore! The hotel breakfast also must try i never regret booked a room with breakfast, plus plus the hotel staff is nice and friendly as they help me check in very fast and there is a public onsen on 9th floor.
This hotel makes my trip in Takayama feel amaze! I definitely will come back again, one of the hidden gem i found in Takayama! I also catch a snow fall on that day such a great experience really appreciate 🥰 Happy new year
It’s a large onsen hotel and close proximity to the station and shopping street. Everything is very organised arrangement for hot spring time, dinner and breakfast time. My family and I enjoyed those three different hot spring facilities very much. Hotel provided free shuttle bus for pick up and no reservation is required.
I was very satisfied with the hotel. I booked a three-night package that was amazing. The rooftop hot spring also had a water massage to relax me after a whole day of skiing. During the snowstorm, the hotel sent out its own snowplows, and many staff helped the vehicles get out of trouble. The ski tickets had the best price.
This is a popular hotel in Takayama, welcoming many domestic and foreign visitors. There is ample parking space, but you have to pay ¥800 for parking overnight. The breakfast buffet can be added on for ¥1000 per person. The staff at front desk spoke good English. There was a welcome drink coupon which you could use it for beer or a soft drink at the bar, which is totally self-service.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, comes with a shower and nice equipment. The onsen is located on the top floor, and for the private onsen it is on a first come first serve basis, you just need to lock it and enjoy the facility. It is family friendly, and visitors can help themselves to a popsicle after having a bath. Amenities such as combs, soap, shampoo, bath robes are provided, you can take it at the lobby.
We were very happy with this hotel. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and the room size was adequate. Close distance to the train station as well as the sites. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The interior is ok size but very old, like 80’s . Staffs are helpful, the public hot spring without any staffs, also just too small. Given such pricing can’t expert too much. Is reasonable
The hotel is very good. Before arriving 1 hour, because of heavy snow, I immediately changed my accommodation. So I looked for a new one. I decided to sleep at Gero Onsen. I found the hotel and chose the room type when I arrived. There was a small problem because it seemed like the hotel asked to check first and waited for 10 minutes. I got a room on the 10th floor. It was big and had a beautiful view. The onsen was very very good. It was a mixed room separated by gender on the 8th floor. There were both rooms and open-door access to the outdoor. The view of the snow was fluffy. It was suitable for all ages. Children and the elderly loved it. The breakfast was varied, but too salty for me... In conclusion, I was not tired anymore and was impressed. I want to stay again.
Note: The bathroom seemed to be cold water. We had to use the hot water in the shared bathroom (onsen).
- I couldn't find the water in the room. There was only a kettle with cold water for boiling water.
But there was a tea set provided. 🥲 So I didn't know which floor to get the hot water. I was afraid of being thirsty, so I went down to buy some water (I'm not sure if I didn't prepare everything).
Very good business hotel. There is a sky bridge that can be directly accessed from Gifu Station, which is very convenient. Although there is only a toilet and no bathroom in the room, there is a very comfortable hot spring bath. Various ice creams are provided free of charge outside the bath. There are massage chairs and comics in the leisure area. Ramen is also provided for midnight snacks in the evening. It is a great accommodation experience. Will stay here again next time.

GGuest UserMy husband rated the accommodation experience with the highest rating for this trip.
The location is excellent, just below the Shinhotaka Ropeway, which is very convenient for us with a tight schedule.
The room is a traditional Japanese tatami, and the two meals are amazing. When checking in, you will be informed of the dinner time and restaurant, and you can choose the breakfast time. The restaurant and seats for dining are fixed, which is very considerate.
The food is rich and the dining experience is very good. The open-air bath is great! Bathing in the snow is a choice of life.
The only small suggestion: the air conditioning temperature in the room cannot be adjusted. It is still hot even at the lowest setting. The children and I can't fall asleep, but it will be very cold in the early morning after turning it off, after all, it is a windy and snowy day outside.

RRoslyn KatzWe were very happy with this hotel. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and the room size was adequate. Close distance to the train station as well as the sites. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
RRainy雨澜芸曦The appearance is relatively old, but the facilities inside are very antique. Bellman waiter service is okay. The front desk feels bad. The price of meals is not very expensive. Hot springs are okay, there is a hot spring tax.

GGuest UserThere is no reason to stay at this hotel unless you are Nakasendo hikers. It is an old establishment without good maintenance. The air conditioner expelled bad smell when open.
GGuest UserThe hotel service is very good! Because of the flight delay and the long customs clearance time, we arrived at the station near the hotel at 9 pm, almost 3 hours later than the original time. The hotel still sent a car to the station to pick us up and left a delicious dinner for us. I was touched and grateful! The hotel is very clean and the service attitude is good! The room rate includes breakfast and dinner, each meal is super rich and cost-effective. In general, it is awesome 👍🏻 Worth recommending 👍🏻👍🏻
YYin Han YvonneThe room is spacious. The river view is spectacular that we could see Gifu Castle up on the mountain. Service is good. The staff is helpful.
