Stay for one night to visit the Shima Spain Village. The location is a little bit far from the main station. However, the hotel have shuttle bus service and we could arrive the destination smoothly. The room is clean, the free hot spring (onsen) is good, the buffet-style breakfast is not bad, and the staff is very friendly. Overall, it's a nice stay.
This was my first trip with Trip.
The 40m2 room was reasonably priced and included breakfast.
There was also a round outdoor bath, which I thought sounded nice, so I ordered it.
The room was large and spacious.
All the amenities were included, so I was very satisfied.
However, there was no round bath.
Also, although breakfast was included, it was just five pieces from the bakery for 380 yen, salad, corn soup, and cream cheese.
When I ordered, it said breakfast was included, but the photo showed a round bath, so it was my first time and I was a little disappointed.
Other than that, it was very nice.
The room was good except for the bathroom and toilet. The facilities were clean and very good.
The food was French at night and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The customer service was excellent as expected.
This is a hotel I would definitely like to visit again.
Booked this as a side trip from Osaka to escape the city and have some quiet time.
Set in a tiny village in the middle of a mountainous & forested area alongside a beautiful river with tons of waterfalls, very picturesque and perfect for walking around.
The hotel itself is immaculate with great amenities including large bathing areas.
Food was incredible and service was top-notch with staff that were always friendly, helpful and eager to please.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an authentic Japanese-style onsen hotel in a tranquil setting.
It was the second time to use it, but the facilities are wide 々 and comfortable. The hot springs were comfortable. Some of the products at the shop were not priced, and when I asked the front desk, they looked it up, but it seemed that I didn't know when I asked, ”Is it individual packaging?” I pushed it from under the box and said, ”It's individual packaging.” and so on.
The restaurant was very delicious (IgA beef) and I was happy that the price was cheap, but the man in black clothes who guided me felt very good, but he was a foreigner and didn't seem to have any knowledge of cooking. Japanese locals explained in detail about the sake set. I want to use it again because the cospa can be relaxed well.
The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are clean and clean. When we check in, a Chinese-speaking waiter is specially arranged for us. In addition to the large public bath, there are two private baths. The check-in price includes one night, two meals and free parking. The car is very cost-effective. In addition to the fixed menu, you can also add a la carte dishes to the meal, but you need to decide early because the number is limited. After this staying experience, I also hope to stay in this hotel again, because this time I stayed in the lobster closed period, I hope I can taste Ise lobster next time.
The breakfast was very delicious.
There was also a shuttle to Iseshi Station in the morning, which was very convenient.
The building was very clean and nice.
There was also a supermarket right in front of the hotel, so you could do your shopping.
Mie Prefecture is a relatively remote and rural place, but Toba, Ise and Shima are still worth visiting.
Todaya Hotel exceeded my expectations. I thought it was just an ordinary local Japanese-style hotel, but it turned out to be very large, with two buildings, a large public bath, an open-air bath, and several free private baths for families. There are quite a few medals at the front desk.
The room size is not large among Japanese-style rooms, but it is more spacious than ordinary modern rooms. Western-style beds are also more comfortable. The dinner was quite rich, with both Japanese and Western flavors, and the freshly roasted beef was delicious. Breakfast is on the top floor of the South Building, facing the sea, with a great view. There are also many dining options.
Mikimoto Pearl Island and Toba Aquarium are nearby.
When you check in, you will see the last name or first name of each room occupant on the welcome board at the hotel entrance. It is quite interesting to find your own name.
Because I was traveling alone, I booked a single executive suite. The hotel facilities were relatively old and there were basically no services, but the old-fashioned open-air baths and large public baths had the flavor of the Showa period. I must try the bath on the 7th floor to offset the fatigue of the trip. The most gratifying thing was that the hotel breakfast was very good. The sea bream sashimi and rice were very solid, the butter-fried baguettes were also very soft, and the coffee was very delicious. I suggest you try breakfast if you come. The hotel is within walking distance of the surrounding attractions and restaurants. Although the road to the hotel is more than 1 kilometer, the scenery is great and you can reach it leisurely by walking.
The hotel is on the island of Dokano, drive to the dock parking lot, and then carry luggage on the boat. It is inconvenient to encounter heavy rain when you check in, but the hotel hot springs and food quality are not wrong.

GGuest UserWe stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday. All the food was delicious, and we were very satisfied with their request for a birthday plate for dessert. It was a memorable hotel stay and my 4-year-old daughter said she wants to stay here again!

AAnonymous UserIt's perfect! The hotel is run like this, it is definitely a model.
The hotel has a BMW car to pick up at the station, and you can start watching the Aman hotel videos around the world when you get on the car.
The entire hotel area is a large botanical garden, all the buildings are in Japanese style, and the Japanese courtyard is even more exquisite.
The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and luxurious, with various free mini bars and top-notch SPA. Together, it is not just as simple as being away from the hustle and bustle... Even the street lights on the roadside at night are so high-end.
The hotel's service is gentle, considerate, and polite.
The dining level is first-class!

GGuest UserI've stayed at this hotel for many years.
When I visited this year, I noticed they'd switched to a buffet style dining option. Both the dinner and breakfast buffets were very generous.
90% of the guests at this hotel are locals, so foreign tourists are rare.
Perhaps because the hot springs in Nagashima aren't natural, they're not often frequented by foreigners.
But I love it and have been going there for many years. The hot springs are both indoors and outdoors, and the staff frequently checks the water content and temperature of each pool. Each one has its own unique characteristics, and I especially love the massage pool. I brought a lot of them with me to share with someone who was passing by...
GGuest UserWe stayed with a total of 4 people with 3 adult friends and 1 4 year old child. The pool was available until 18:00 on the same day and 10:00 the next day 〜 14:00 at an additional fee, and there was a jet relaxing corner in the indoor heated pool and it was quite refreshing.
The hot springs after that were free and fun.
