The location is a bit out of the way, but it wasn't a problem since we were driving. Although it's an older-style inn, it was clean and tidy. There were also quite a few locals staying there. The staff were all very polite, kind, and generally wonderful. The amenities were great, and the room was clean. The hot spring was also very pleasant. If I had to point out one thing, it would be the dressing room in the hot spring. When I sat down to dry my hair, my eyes were drawn to the gap between the sink and the counter below, and I noticed some dust had accumulated there. The corners of the walls also had some dust. Since everything else was so clean, it was a bit disappointing. I would definitely like to stay here again.

The kaiseki cuisine is delicious, Toyama Prefecture has very good seafood, every night is very exquisite. The waiters are very good, and there are also waiters who understand Chinese. There is a spectacular snow scene in winter, and there are two medium-sized ski resorts next to it, which is convenient for skiing.

I impulsively decided to go to Tateyama but hadn't done enough research, and ended up being turned away. So I stayed here that night. Afterwards, it was just me and another group of Japanese guests.
