Honestly, I don't know where to start. I'm completely touched by my experience at this hotel. First, the rooms are clean, big, surrounded by nature, greenery, and a beautiful lake that you can observe for a perfect morning scenery. Secondly, the facilities are top notch! Everything is clean! All facilities are provided to you with great quality; clean floors, perfect white clean towels, the hot spring water is clean, the pools are clean, the shampoo and body wash liquids smell amazing! (Like the baby colon your mother would give you as a child with the blue rounded top!) AMAZING! However, I had a very special interaction with one of the staff who deserves a medal for being so responsible and ensuring that her guest was in good hands.
Unfortunately, I got sick one morning while I was checking out. I was having an anxiety / panic attack that made me really disoriented. I didn't feel safe driving afterwards and I requested for the ambulance to be called. The kind and beautiful lady at the front desk handled all my paperwork, and ensured clear communication between doctors and nurses. After getting a physical check at the hospital for 2 hours, the results came back fine. There was no problem at all, however, the lady from the hotel staff was still there to see me out and ensure that I was safe and ok to drive. She was amazing! Thank you a million times for providing a fantastic place to stay, but also for taking great care of me!
( I don't have any pictures of the hotel because pictures aren't allowed to be taken within the hot springs, but trust me when I say, everything looks just as it is in the pictures. ) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I've always been a big fan of Dormy Inn, and this was my first time trying their premium series. Beyond the all-tatami flooring throughout the building and the cypress *onsen* bath directly in the room, it wasn't vastly different from a standard Dormy Inn. In fact, the room was quite small. I actually quite liked the minimal room service – they only needed to provide fresh towels. After all, once my luggage was open, there was barely any room to stand.
The hotel is a bit far from Toyama Station. While this isn't a major issue for those driving, there aren't many dining options nearby, so you'll still need to head to the station area for food. The Glass Art Museum, on the other hand, is very close and definitely worth a visit, especially since the tickets are super affordable. And the breakfast, as usual, was absolutely superb!
Before trip, I think this hotel is located close to Toyama station but I walked from Toyama station to the hotel around 20 minutes (However, this was my own fault for not reading the hotel’s location information carefully).
For this hotel, the facilities is very well and various such as public bath, electric body massage machine, vending machine.
For the public bath, if you use it during the daytime, you’ll probably get a beautiful view of the Japan Alps surrounding the city. Unfortunately, I used it at night, when it was too dark to see the view.
The overall service is good, but when booking online, I saw that it was a twin room, and I mistakenly thought it was for two people. However, when I arrived, I was told that it was only for one person, and that one more person would have to pay 5,100 yen. When I checked in, I felt like I was being cheated, which affected my experience. We hope that hotels and TRIP.COM can inform guests of relevant information more clearly and easily on the booking page.
In addition, the hotel provides free coffee and travel leaflets. There are also baths and massage chairs to relieve fatigue during the day.
There is a 7-11 near the hotel and very close to the station.
There was an old calm inn style, and the dishes were also used with local seasonal ingredients, the arrangement was new and the seasoning was good, and the vessel and the arrangement were enjoyed. The bedding was clean, but the futon was hard with a mat and my back hurt. Only there was a pity.
The hot spring is very good, it is alkaline water, especially good for the skin, after soaking, the skin feels bright and comfortable. The hot spring is very large, there are various ways to soak, the outdoor open-air hot spring is also very beautiful, there is a bubble pool indoors, and there is also a strong impact to heal tired legs.
The kaiseki cuisine is delicious, Toyama Prefecture has very good seafood, every night is very exquisite.
The waiters are very good, and there are also waiters who understand Chinese.
There is a spectacular snow scene in winter, and there are two medium-sized ski resorts next to it, which is convenient for skiing.
Awesome hotel, I didn’t see a high rating when I booked Ctrip. I have been hesitating to make a reservation. However, the B&B in Baichuan Township is a wooden house structure that is too old. I chose this hotel. The hot springs are superb and the rooms are clean and looks like It didn't take long for the decoration, everything was very new, and I will definitely visit again in Shirakawa Township next time.
It was the best bed.
The best snow makeup in the morning from the room and Yufune.
I like traveling and go out all over the country every year, but Ogawa Onsen is a good hot spring.
I went there for the first time in 50 years, but I missed it. There is no open-air bath in the back on foot.
I would like to go again in the near future.
When I first entered the hotel lobby, I was awed by the river view and the melody of the music. Our room had a beautiful view of the entire river, and the breakfast was delicious without being overly extravagant, so I decided I had to stay there when I came to Toyama. However, I screamed when I saw a silver bug crawling around in the morning. The bug was so disgusting, I couldn't help but be startled. Upon closer inspection, I saw a dead one in the bathroom. I took a picture and told the lobby staff, and they just laughed, not seeming particularly surprised. The thought of that bug crawling around makes me reluctant to go back there again.
Stealth place, scenic spot
The accommodation needs to check in by yourself. The key lock also needs to call through Japan to ask for the accommodation password. It is better to have more preparation.
Parking location
5 rooms share 2 large shower rooms, there are wind couples in the shower rooms, and a small hot spring with wind couples on the sea. It is very private and very good.

The hotel is a bit old but clean
Meals are nice
ССтанислав СвидерскийThis is our first rayon. General impressions are great!!! Very interesting experience. Staff very, very straight-a-friendly. Food is fresh seafood, rice, local soups. You can't say it is not delicious. Delicious. It's a lot of it, but after the third table like this, you want something with the pasta:)))) the room was cleaned every day. There is a transfer to the station. The view from the window is beautiful. In general a quiet place designed for resting with the soul and the body!!!
Below is a photo of the hotel and the nearby locations.
