We came for the playground and closeness to the fruit farms. They playground was terrific, or at least thats what can be interpreted when you need toddlers to do something - anything is agreeable before ‘playground’. Finishing food, brushing teeth are suddenly all ok. The style of the hotel is polished, there’s lounge with premium room bookings, three elevators with space to push in a trolley and 2 strollers(rare in Japan), matches 4.5 star international expectations. We didnt use the hotspring as we came with an infant and toddler. The breakfast was a very nice spread of one section japanese one section western, and a one hour window!

A small hotel under Mount Fuji, the scale is not large, the traffic is inconvenient without a car, the environment is very good, the mountain view of Fuji is very beautiful, the hot spring is also good, breakfast and dinner are quite satisfactory, I want to experience the recommendation of the forest nature.

A good place to relax in Fujiyoshida. A huge plus is the free bath. It is located in a beautiful place against the backdrop of Fujisan. From the bathhouse on the street you can't see the mountain because of the high fence, don't count on a good view.

This hotel is huge, divided into East and West wings. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; they not only carried our luggage to the room but also gave us a detailed tour of all the facilities. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing, and since we booked a private onsen room, the spring water was continuously available. I highly recommend booking the 'one night, two meals' package. The dinner buffet was absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of dishes. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

🏨 the ryokan turned out to be much more beautiful than i expected from what i've seen on the pictures here 🗺️ the location is great, and even though we didn't get the room with the lake view, the view was still amazing. there's also a konbini and a few cafés right next to the ryokan, so it was very convenient 🕴️the staff was kind, it was easy to communicate in english 🧖♀️ didn't attend the onsen myself, but my friends told me they liked it ⭐️ taking one star off cause the shower-head was a bit broken and the room wasn't clean enough to my taste

I stayed here on a solo trip. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations beforehand. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many people, so I was able to relax and enjoy the large public bath and sauna. Before my bath, I had curry and boiled dumplings at the restaurant on the second floor. I still felt a bit hungry after my bath, so I went to an izakaya on the second floor. The portions were good and tasty for the price, and they're open until midnight, so I had the luxurious experience of eating and drinking to my heart's content and then going straight to bed in my room. It's a facility I'd definitely like to return to.

This hotel, located in the Yamanashi Prefecture's Mount Fuji area, boasts a long history and traditional style. Its surroundings are beautiful, and the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. The entire hotel faces Mount Fuji, offering stunning views not only from the room balconies and restaurant windows but also from the entire rooftop observation deck, where you can relax while admiring the scenery. What's particularly worth mentioning is the warm service, spacious rooms, and separate traditional indoor and outdoor private onsens for men and women, which are incredibly clean and relaxing, complete with all necessary toiletries. It's especially ideal for families looking to stay for a few days to truly unwind.

Ssiufungjeh🌸 Hotel Mifujien – A Front Row Seat to Mt. Fuji’s Majesty If you’re looking for unparalleled views of Mt. Fuji, look no further than Hotel Mifujien. Nestled right beside Lake Kawaguchiko, this hotel offers one of the most photogenic and soul-soothing panoramas of Japan’s most iconic peak. 🗻 The View: Absolutely Breathtaking The highlight of our stay was the view — and it’s no exaggeration. Whether it’s early morning when the summit catches the first rays of sunlight, or during a serene sunset, the unobstructed view of Mount Fuji reflected in Lake Kawaguchiko is simply unforgettable. I woke up early just to capture a time-lapse of the sunrise, and it was worth every second of lost sleep. We also filmed a sunset time-lapse, and again, Fuji didn’t disappoint. ⸻ 🚶♂️ Getting There: Worth the Scenic Walk Although the hotel offers a shuttle bus pickup service, we chose to walk from Kawaguchiko Station — and it was a delightful decision. The 20–30 minute stroll is scenic and peaceful. We even stopped by a local supermarket for some ice cream while enjoying views of Mt. Fuji in the background. It was an experience that made us feel like locals soaking in a perfect day. ⸻ 🛏 Tatami Rooms: Authentic and Comfortable The tatami-style room was clean, spacious, and gave us a deeply authentic Japanese lodging experience. Sliding doors, futon beds, and traditional touches made our stay both relaxing and culturally immersive. ⸻ ♨️ Hot Springs: Cozy, Not Crowded The hotel features both indoor and outdoor onsen (hot springs). While not particularly large, they are a nice bonus to unwind after a day of exploring. Since they only accommodate a few people at a time, it’s best to avoid peak hours. ⸻ 🍱 Meals: Included and Delicious Our stay included both breakfast and dinner, and the food was outstanding. A beautifully arranged kaiseki-style dinner showcased seasonal ingredients, fresh sashimi, grilled seafood, and hot pots. Breakfast was equally satisfying with a variety of small dishes and a perfectly cooked grilled fish. Everything was crafted with care and served with hospitality. ⸻ 📝 Suggestions: • Bring a tripod if you’re planning to do photography or time-lapses — the view is too good not to capture properly. • Try both the indoor and outdoor onsen during quiet hours to fully enjoy the experience. • Use the shuttle service if you’re carrying large luggage, as the walk (while scenic) do take around 30 minutes. ⸻ ⭐ Final Verdict: 9/10 Hotel Mifujien is all about the view — and it delivers. Combine that with great meals, clean traditional rooms, and hot springs, and you have the perfect base to enjoy Mt. Fuji in all its glory.

CCocomumWe are a group of four ladies who stayed in Suite 841, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience at Kaneyamaen. The breathtaking view of Mount Fuji from our room was truly unforgettable. The entire environment is serene and calming, and we felt warmly welcomed at every corner of the hotel. Everything is impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kaneyamaen to all my friends, and I definitely hope to return for more relaxation therapy in the future. Thank you, Kaneyamaen, for everything!

GGuest UserFor any Yuru Camp anime fans, if you also are interested in an Onsen experience this is the perfect place. The facilities and staff are amazing! I couldn't believe the size of my room, especially after coming from a business hotel in Tokyo. I thought Deluxe Twin was just the ”deluxe” version of a standard single twin size bed room instead of two twin beds but there are no complaints. Given it's more remote location I was expecting zero English but I was so surprised at how well some of the staff spoke English and had print outs for English speakers. I have to shout out two staff members, Nozomi and Joon Bae's english combined with my limited and grammatically atrocious Japanese they went above and beyond making me understand how everything worked as well as assisting me with my ventures outside of the onsen. They have two e-bikes available for rent which I rode to the next station on the minobu line so I could visit the school that was used in the anime as well as get a taxi to take me to Lake Shibere, from episodes 6 and 7 of season one. It was my first time in Japan, being the only foreigner at the hotel for the two full days, I only visited the baths once however the facilities are amazing and I plan on going back to use the Onsen more.

CcyberparasSuper place, very nicely furnished and private onsen, fully serviced hotel with full privacy and attended service kind hospitality, Although limited western options for breakfast, very nicely and chef prepared Japanese cousins and with prior intimation, took full care for nice vegetarian Japanese food, completely private area for breakfast and dinner and with timed reservations, Overall a luxurious experience, Although can’t see Fuji from any of the room nor from anywhere in the hotel, mountain can be seen as soon as outside, lots of restaurants of all kind in walking distance, Lawson convenience store just two mins by foot, overall excellent location and super comfort, full privacy and good hospitality, International staff and sometimes get a feeling that too many staff members rather flocking towards the guest which was at a times bit overwhelming but that is how it is, stringent about breakfast etc timings but that was fine, Ofcourse expensive but worth sometimes!
