Both the cleaning service and service were satisfactory, and it was also great for enjoying a vacation with various programs, swimming, and fitness.
It was Christmas, so the price was quite reasonable, and if you buy the things you want to eat before you come and eat them for dinner, you will be satisfied with the vacation.
I've been to many accommodations in Taebaek, but this one is the best..! You can eat Korean and Western meals separately, the facilities are clean, and the place I stayed had a separate room, which was great! There's a sauna, water play facilities, a billiards room, and a PC room! I wasn't able to use it because I was with my family, but I think it would be fun if I came with friends.
We stayed for 5 nights, and it was a great stay for us. The location is convenient as it is near to ski and snowy land. We can also get food easily from the resort. The only inconvenience is that they donβt have laundry service or coin laundry.
Hotel room is clean and big enough. The staff is very polite and let us to use the room earlier. And is really close to the ski house. Overall is nice :)
location was good and we stayed at the renovated part of the resort so it was great. but the overall service quality isn't great. reception staffs are not friendly and they even look bothered and annoyed when you have questions.
A place I visited with my parents!
It was so cold because of the cold wave, but the heating was good and the atmosphere was nice!
Especially the outdoor hot springs were the best!!!
I would visit again!!!
There were many places to visit nearby and there was a convenience store in the main building, so it was convenient!!
Advantages
Conveniently situated
Generously sized accommodations
Impressive amenities
Perfect for family trips, this place offers all the amenities you need, just like an Airbnb. You'll find a cooker, pots and pans and cutlery readily available.
Conveniently located near a variety of dining options
Drawbacks
The staff had limited English proficiency, making communication quite challenging.
Upon our early arrival at around 11am, we found the reception area to be deserted. Along with other guests, we were left waiting at the counter, unsure of what to do. Finally, around 1pm, a receptionist appeared. However, rather than simply informing us that check-in was only possible after two, they made each guest wait in queue to deliver the same message. Upon returning to the reception at 2, we were informed that we had to wait an additional hour. This experience was quite unprofessional and made it challenging to enjoy other activities
Dignity Hotel is located right next to the ocean, so for sea-loving folks, this is the place for you! Naksan Temple is 20mins away, but the beautiful ocean will keep you occupied while you stroll over.
Room-wise, the room is very spacious, with a large walk in dressing room and a lounging area. It is also very quiet at night (it is the countryside after all!) and you will be guaranteed a good rest.
Amenities around the areas are sparse as it is still low-season (for instance, the nearest well-stocked convenience store is 20 mins away). So I recommend to purchasing the morning buffet at the hotel restaurant so you wouldnβt go hungry in the mornings while thinking about where to explore.
Regardless, I expect the area to be much more accessible during the high-season of summer, so plan accordingly!
All in all, if I return to Yangyang, Dignity Hotel will be my first choice in selecting a place to stay. I had a wonderful time there.

GGuest UserLocation is rather near the lake side. Very good views of the lake from the balcony off the bedroom - not so good from the main room.
The room/apartment is very cozy and nicely furnished, and we spent quite a lot of time in the room as it didnβt stopped raining the entire time we are there. The design of the house is very well thought out and the owner actually came to say hi to us.
Some clothing cabinets will be nice, and maybe another one or two chairs for the living area.
ννμ¬λAll the amenities are on the first floor except for the ones that aren't there
It's close to the parking lot, and because it's winter, it's quiet and
I had a good rest because it was quiet
Breakfast was good and the menu was good
The highway from Seoul was quiet because it was a weekday
And on the way back, it snowed and rained, but it wasn't dangerous, so I had a comfortable trip~
I'm planning my next trip to Gangneung
Domestic travel is much more leisurely and healing.
GGuest UserIt's good. It's old, but it's clean and well-maintained. It's good for families to stay. But because it's old, the central heating system is a bit inconvenient. There's a lot of noise between floors.
KKellyjinhuaIt is about a 5-minute walk from Jiangmen Beach and Caotang Tofu Village.
I live on the 2nd floor and don't have a full sea view. I don't know what it's like upstairs.
There is a supermarket downstairs and a large cafe next to it.
It's not far from the seaside bus station and the location is good.
