I checked into the hotel on a day affected by the outer bands of a typhoon. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was captivated by the enormous glass wall. The infinity pool downstairs seemed to stretch endlessly, almost connecting with the sea. My room faced the ocean and had a balcony, offering a perfect view of the churning typhoon waves. The soundproofing of the glass doors and windows was excellent; as soon as they were closed, the howling wind outside instantly disappeared.
The staff were all very professional, and there were Chinese-speaking employees in various departments. The food and desserts at the restaurant and bakery were delicious. After 7 PM every night, the pastries at the patisserie would go on sale, with quality guaranteed.
I also enjoyed walking along the seaside promenade outside the hotel. The path was well-paved and connected to other hotels. Overall, it’s a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

The front desk staff, restaurant crew, cleaning team, and everyone else were all incredibly friendly! The hotel has an old-money vibe, with sculptures and marble floors/walls that are exceptionally well-maintained. The greenery is abundant, and there's a path leading down to a hiking trail and the beach. The breakfast is incredibly rich and high-quality, and in the evenings, there's a live band by the pool. If I visit Jeju again, I'd definitely choose this hotel. (You can swap your breakfast reservation for the lunch buffet, which is also excellent, but you need to inform the front desk in advance to make the change.)

Choosing this hotel for our family trip with the kids was definitely the right decision. The room was quite clean and a decent size, and the bed was comfortable for our two-night stay. The resort has everything you need: dining, a gym, a swimming pool, a water park, a playground, a convenience store, and even a duty-free shop. There's no need to leave unless you really want to, and if you do, taxis are readily available. Just a heads-up, the hotel is located on the southwest side of Jeju Island, so it's a bit far if you're planning to explore the eastern part.

Guest UserSeamless check-in experience due to self check in kiosk. Staff was able to assist with storage of breast milk. Room was spacious with a spacious bath tub and a beautiful ocean view. However, gym was stuffy and no water filter or towels provided. So do take note. Basic gym equipments in a small room. Overall, still enjoyed my time here. If you’re a foreigner, do wait for the staff to finish checking your room before officially checking out. If you’re a local, I observed to be quite instant. So there is quite a local first, foreigners second service here. But to each its own. Just be patient and be happy.

nicomaryI stayed in a quiet area a little away from the city center, which made it a relaxing place.
I only met the staff during check-in. The room was cleaned once every five days, but fresh towels were delivered and hung on the door every day.
The kitchen was equipped with basic tableware, but there was no dishwashing detergent, so I had to rinse everything with water only.
The bathtub was large and very satisfying, and I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi function.

I came to Jeju Island to watch a football match, and this hotel was my top pick after a lot of searching. Its location is great; you can take bus 600 directly there and it's just a few hundred meters walk. There are a lot of Western tourists, and the front desk service is excellent. The ocean view rooms have balconies with amazing views. The facilities are quite comprehensive, and it has a cozy vibe. There are also some coffee shops and small restaurants nearby. It's not far to walk to the city center or the Olle Market. The only downside is that the hills in Seogwipo can be a bit tiring to climb. Seobok Park is also right next door, and the beach isn't far either. The price is also fantastic value. Highly recommend this place when you're in Seogwipo.

I had to give the Grand Hyatt Jeju a stellar review after my personal experience there! 👍
📍 **Prime Location:** It's right in the heart of Jeju City, just 2.7 km from Jeju International Airport, making the airport shuttle super convenient. Nearby, you'll find E-Mart, Baojian Road Pedestrian Street, and more, making shopping, dining, and strolling incredibly easy. You can walk to Jungmun Beach in 5 minutes, and it's a 10-minute drive to the Jusangjeolli Cliff, so exploring is a breeze.
🏨 **Luxurious Facilities:** The hotel boasts 1600 spacious rooms and suites, all starting from 65 square meters, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Hallasan Mountain, the city, and the stunning ”jellyfish sea.” Inside the hotel, there are 14 restaurants and bars, 2 spas, and a Korean fashion shopping center. The Sky Pool on the 8th floor is a massive outdoor pool deck that defies Jeju Island's height restrictions, featuring a heated infinity pool, jacuzzis, and a children's pool.
🍽 **Diverse Dining:** On the 38th-floor rooftop, ”China House” offers authentic Shanghai cuisine. ”Lounge 38” provides a romantic ambiance, and ”Pojangmacha” serves unique modern Korean street food. The Las Vegas-style buffet restaurant is also excellent.
💁♀️ **Attentive Service:** Concierge staff will help with your luggage and can assist with car rental bookings (no need for a translated driver's license) and even purchasing seafood.
The rooms and pools are clean, and the overall environment is fantastic. I highly recommend staying here!

CMDRWe had a great welcoming and every staff member we met was very nice! The breakfast people were also very nice but maybe they could add a bit of diversity in the choices (we had the same breakfast 4days).The room was lacking maybe some cutlery and maybe some darker curtains but it was spacious and convenient. Bonus point for the ”laundry room” which was very helpful! In addition, the convenience store was a great touch. We also appreciated having fresh towels and water placed on our handle everyday. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and was opened until 10pm lots of parking space too

This was my second stay here, and this time I was assigned a room on the second floor with a very mediocre view. I'd recommend letting the hotel know your preferences before checking in to get a room with a better view, if available. Even though the hotel has been open for a long time, the facilities are very well maintained; the room was clean and tidy, and the carpet was spotless. The staff were all very friendly. When checking in and paying the deposit at the front desk, my UnionPay credit card didn't work, so I paid in cash, 100,000 Korean Won per night. The breakfast was good, but everyone wakes up quite early, so by 8:30 AM, there was already a queue. The pool, though not large, was a lot of fun for the kids, but it did get crowded, making it hard to find an empty spot. There's also a paid relaxation area next to it for 30,000 Korean Won for two hours. The hairdryer is an old model and takes a long time to dry your hair. Across from the hotel, next to Starbucks, there's a convenience store. If you're tired of the 7-Eleven by the entrance, you can check that one out; there's also an Olive Young there. The restaurant next to the hotel has a so-so ambiance. If you're looking for a BBQ place within walking distance, search for 'Pungno' on Dianping. If you're coming to Jeju Island for a relaxing vacation, this place is a good choice. However, if you're here for shopping and visiting various attractions, staying in the city center would be more convenient.

Guest UserAbsolutely loved this hotel! 1. The staff were all incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help, even with a slight language barrier. 2. The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the large and safe swimming pool. 3. It's within walking distance to Pyo Seon Beach, which was clean and not too crowded. I'll definitely be back and will recommend it to all my friends!
