Ponter Fino hotel is my favorite hotel for staycation. However, during my stay on Jan 1, 2026, they checked me in so late. Later than 430pm. The reason was there were still guests in the suite room assigned to for late checkout which I think was unreasonable. They coudn't even find alternative room for me. Worst case, they promised to deliver my luggages (although they said attendants were busy which I understand) However, it took unresonably long enough knowing there are attendant / staff who seemed to be free and just volunteered to deliver them only when they saw me carrying the trolley. So I refused to let them carry my stuff and pushed them all by myself from the lobby to my room located at 2nd floor so still need to carry all of them upstairs (back and forth). They offered late yes but out of ego, disappointment, and dissatisfaction, I told them don't help me and I'll do ot myself.
Everything is good. One ride from SM Bacoor, tatawid ka lang. Didn't expect that they got their own Netflix account free to be used unlike sa Iba na ikaw ang need mag login. Other things were working fine. It's just the bathroom shower Lang sa room namin, di buo ung water na nalabas. Nasa isang side lang sya. But still working Kaya walang problema samin. Didn't expect din Na malakinang standard room. Babalik kami dito. đ
I recently decided to have a spontaneous staycation at Sotogrande Batangas (April 11-12) just to relax, and Iâm honestly flabbergasted! At first, I was a bit hesitant because the location is quite secluded, but the moment I stepped inside, all my doubts vanished.
âšThe Ambiance:
Ang ânakakayamanâ vibes ng Lower and Upper Ground floors are top-tier! Everything looks high-quality, from the furniture to the color palette. Sobrang relaxing sa mata. I also noticed they have a specific room for kids (perfect for families waiting for check-in/out) and even a dedicated room for nail services. You can really tell they designed the place for ultimate rest and relaxation.
âšThe Room (Superior Twin):
I booked a Superior Room with twin beds and grabe, I couldnât ask for more! The bed was so comfy and cleanâthe moment I laid my tired body down, ayaw ko na bumangon. The room features are complete: television, stable Wi-Fi, excellent airconditioning, a mini-bar, and a total highlightâa bathtub! Napakabongga at napakalinis.
âšFacilities & Dining:
The pool area is very relaxing and well-maintained. It was heartwarming to see families and kids enjoying themselves. As for the breakfast buffet? Hindi biro ang menu nila! Every dish was delicious. Maraming salamat sa masarap na pagkain!
âšThe Service (The Best Part!):
What truly sets this hotel apart is the quality of service. The staff provides a very welcoming vibe, from the security personnel to the front office. A huge shoutout to Sir Josh (Front Office Manager) and Maâam Cess (who assisted me during check-in/out). Napakaganda at napaka-welcoming ng vibes nilaâthey really know their job well!
Sotogrande Batangas surpassed all my expectations. If you're looking for the perfect place to recharge, this is it. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back.
Taal Vista is a good place to stay when youâre in Tagaytay. Thereâs nothing more relaxing than getting an unobstructed view of Taal lake while having breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, Taal Vista offers a variety of food such as Filipino staples, salad, and bread, among others, which I really enjoyed. The rooms are not new but are clean well-maintained nonetheless (kudos to their cleaners who clean the rooms everyday!). If youâre after a serene place, this is the place to go. But if you want newer facilities, then you might want to consider looking for another hotel.
The place was nice and good for family or barkada staycation. Staff are very friendly and approachable. Amenities are cool, they have play area for kids, teenagers, and adults. They also have warm pool!!
We stayed here last Holy Week 2024 for 2 nights. The location is good and easy to find. The restaurant needs a bit of improvement when it comes to tables and chairs and the ambiance and also the food choices. There were no pastries and cakes and no other coffee choices. They only have brewed which didnât taste good. The room was nice and huge including the bathroom but it needs brighter lighting. Overall it was a good stay but itâs not really place to be going back to. We just tried it.
Comfortable bed, hot shower, and a nice buffet. đŻ We had a great two days at this hotel. The food at their Emerald CafĂ« and Kimsuy Chinese restaurant, was excellent. The employees were really kind and helpful. The drawback is that the hotel is two decades old, and some of its components are degrading. Perhaps renovations will restore the hotel's magnificent facade and make it seem like it used to. Over all we appreciate the staff, and the room rate it was very reasonable for a suite.đ
Very nice hotel with great views of Lake Taal, rooms are clean and well maintained, they were remodeling some rooms and repairing the steel along the roofline which added some additional noise but they were very considerate about the hours of doing necessary maintenance, the only downsides were the pool closes at 8pm when the city belows lights are very visible and the views would have been great if we were able to use it. And the restaurant was not well stocked, several of the choices we made were not available
Positives: friendly staff (maybe too friendly); quite clean both in and out of the hotel rooms; there were barely any guests there when I checked in, and with a window-less room, it actually made for great sleep hygiene; a positive for those tired travellers that need a good nap.
There's not a lot in Bacoor and the roads leading to Cavite and in the Manila direction have the most appalling traffic that I've experienced; but it is a short ride to the Manila airport (min 20 minutes by cab) , making this a potential airport hotel.
The safety deposit box didn't work at first, but to the staff's credit, they replaced it very quickly. Unfortunately, the hot water just wasn't present during shower time.
Buffet breakfast was okay, but it was a smaller selection than what I've seen at other hotels. As a vegan, I barely managed to find enough options.
Despite some positives, I do think the hotel was overpriced. For instance, I only paid about $20 extra for my stay at the City Garden Grand Hotel, in its prime location in Makati and superior facilities.

GGuest User1N2D Stay for Couple - July 2025
Loved everything and will absolutely book again. Our room was upgraded for free and had an outdoor tub. The room was huge and had a lot of sitting areas. Bed was king size and comfortable and clean. Smart TV can connect to YouTube but you need to sign in to your own Netflix account. Bathroom was huge. I think the room needs more hangers, complementary shampoo, reusable room slippers, scented candle/diffuser and it would be just perfect. Wifi was also fast. Breakfast buffet at pesce was cleansing and delicious for us. Loved walking around the farm, swimming at the pools, and the other services plus, the staff of the farm are very friendly and helpful. Had dinner at the Upperdeck and food was also good and yummy and it felt romantic because a guitarist and a singer serandes us.

YyukimeowsThe view is so nice, overlooking the taal lake. The breakfast is good too and staff are very accommodating.
It's not your regular luxury hotels. But the vibe is definitely good. Rooms are clean and smells good.Parking ia covered. If you'll be in a motorcycle like is, I hope you hvae a skilled driver, the way here is a hill downslope and is a bit challenging to navigate if not an experienced driver. All in all a 10/10 experience. đ„°

MMs. CabalhinSeda Nuvali truly exceeded expectations from a smooth, check-in to a hassle-free check-out, with every process running like clockwork. Our spacious suite room was perfectly clean, featuring plush bedding, a separate shower and bathtub, high-speed Wi-Fi, and thoughtful touches like complimentary water and coffee and tea selections, perfect for unwinding.
Service was impeccable throughout, highlighted by an outstanding breakfast buffet with fresh Filipino and international options, including customizable omelets and healthy juice stations. The staffâs attentiveness shone brightest with our group of persons with disabilities (PWDs); they proactively selected accessible seating in the pool dining area, with ample space, making everyone feel truly cared for.
Located in the serene Nuvali estate, it offered easy access to nearby malls and greenery, providing the ideal calm retreat as we prepared for my sonâs wedding. Outstanding value, eco-friendly practices, and top-notch facilities make this a standout choice for families or events.
GGuest UserThis is our second room. Itâs quite smaller than our first room but still the same service we received. On our second day, we went swimming. But the only con was the pool area is in different location and the pool is not heated. After 6pm,no more hotel driver available. So we dont have a choice but to ride in a tricycle just to get there. But then, there is a staff who assisted us and gave us fresh towels. I just hope that they will have a driver until 9pm. Because they said that the pool use is until 9pm. But then, we enjoyed our experience and surely would comeback here.
GGuest UserThe service is actually good, and all the staff are accommodating and helpful. However, when it comes to the room, itâs best to manage your expectations talaga since the hotel is already quite old. The room was clean, but the flooring looked worn and did not really match the pictures provided here. Also, they do not provide bathrobes, which was disappointing because it was stated as part of the room amenities.
AAnonymous UserWas not expecting the Orchard Laneâs Superior Apartment bedroom was that run-down, the blankets were the worst of all we experienced in all our get-away stays, booked for 6 adults and 2 kids and they were expecting us to only use 2 blankets from the main room, extra blanket charged at 500php, the whole stay was compensated by the pretty sunset view outside, got foul smell at night from the main bedroom, we cannot figure out where the smell was coming from, walls were thin even the bathroom as you can hear other guests talking,it was a once in a lifetime experience as you will not likely to go back else you may want to try day tour instead. Do take note the sliding door connected to balcony were almost unscrewed so needs to take precaution in opening.
JJherruIts a great place, good amenities with multiple choice of pools. You can enjoy together with your friend family. They also offer lot of exciting variety of foods. The restaurant has a very good overlooking view of the mountain. Great Customer service. All staff was great and accomodating.
GGuest UserWe booked 4 villa rooms for an overnight stay at Cintai Coritos. We loved that the place is tucked away from the city noise. It's a serene and relaxing environment.. the service staff greeted us with warmth and utmost respect and even offered to help us with our bags. The food is great though there not alot to choose from the menu list.
There are alot of stray cats in the area and they come to you for food which was not a problem for us feeding them but some of the cats gets aggressive, so children are not safe to be around those cats.
But over all, we enjoyed the place and we we're even allowed to stay past the check out time. I'd surely recommend this place to my friends and come back again in the future.
