Amazing
GGuest UserLocation wise is very close (5min casual stroll) to Urguk town center. Rooms and hotel grouds were very well kept and clean. Service from the check in was great. The rest of the crew were just normal, no where near as warm, acknowledging and attentive compared to other similar resorts/chains/properties possibly due to the staffs culture and language limitations. Nevertheless this is nitpicking and overall experience was still good. Next to the pool, hamam, cafe there is not much to do in the property and to be fair that is expected given the size and exclusivity of low density property hence plan half a day there and the rest, go for a tour around town. The ala carte traditional breakfast deserves an outstanding rating. This is not your typical hotel buffet spread but I give it a very high rating for the quality, presentation and spread. They have put in the effort and executed this menu well. Room was as expected and the lit up fireplace (upon request) was very cozy on a cold winter night. Overall great stay & worth another stay in another room.
GGuest UserThe suites are very spacious. We had four rooms, and each had a different layout. Only one room was around 60 square meters, while the others were all over 80 square meters. The bathtubs are also super big. After our hot air balloon ride in the morning, taking a hot bath back in the room was incredibly relaxing. From the hotel terrace, you can see the hot air balloons in the distance. The owner and staff are very enthusiastic. On the second morning, when we asked if there were noodles, they made unseasoned instant noodles right away. Regardless of the taste, it's great that they try their best to meet guest requests. It's just a few minutes' drive from Goreme town. I highly recommend this hotel.
SShevaniA beautiful hotel and a wonderful experience. Goreme is so beautiful and this hotel is located not too far from the central places where you can find lots of great restaurants and souvenir shops. The room is naturally cool and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the whole atmosphere at the hotel and the outside seating areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of touring. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
ZZein-ZanGoreme Treasure Cave Hotel | Aza gets rave reviews, great value for money!
This hotel is a sister property to Sultan Cave Suites, sharing facilities, but Aza offers significantly better value! The rooms are larger, have better views, and even come with their own pools. Crucially, it's much quieter than Sultan – Sultan's front-facing rooms can be noisy due to the restaurant and bar, whereas Aza is completely peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep. If you value quiet, this is the place to be. (Sometimes you can hear hallway noise when people enter the room next door, but overall it's quiet. However, the stairs can be challenging for elderly guests).
The breakfast is incredibly generous, with the scrambled eggs and beef being a must-try. The food is plentiful and satisfying. If you want to see the hot air balloon sunrise, you can head directly to Sultan's observation deck for photos – you get the best of both worlds. The hotel's recommended excursions are a bit pricey; I suggest booking through a restaurant owner in town for much better deals.
The SPA experience was a wonderful surprise – professional techniques and just the right amount of pressure. It offers far better value than other places in town and is my top pick for relaxation.
What was most heartwarming was that my non-refundable booking dropped in price upon arrival, and Trip.com proactively refunded the difference. The hotel even upgraded me for free to a suite with a fireplace! A staff member kindly helped chop wood and start the fire. Listening to the sound of wood chopping in the courtyard and watching the warm glow of the fire in the room truly enhanced the cave accommodation experience – it was unforgettable.
The cave room was very comfortable, the pool view was absolutely stunning, and the overall experience was perfect. If you're coming to Goreme, you can't go wrong with this place!
RRichard Su0615We stayed at this hotel on our last night in Cappadocia. It offers excellent value for money. The room was large, new, very clean, and comfortable, giving a luxurious feel. There's a gym and a swimming pool. Although there aren't many restaurants right next door, if you turn left out of the hotel and walk past the gas station, there's a highly recommended barbecue place. For Turkey, the prices are low, and the food perfectly suited our Chinese palates. All in all, I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit to Cappadocia. Getting to the hotel from the airport is very convenient; you can take the hotel's shuttle bus or a shared transfer van in Cappadocia – just tell them which hotel you're staying at, and they'll drop you off directly. It’s very convenient.
Wwt.cWe absolutely enjoyed our stay with Sultan. The staff were amazing & helped us very much! A big shoutout to Darina, Yunus & all the rest who has helped us so attentively & replied to our messages whenever they can! One thing I would change about my trip is to make all my bookings with them! They actually have a list of vendors they worked with & in house tours which we can signed up for. We went for the Breakfast Tour & the Hammam at their sister’s hotel, both of it we absolutely loved. We would also like to commend Shams’ hospitality in guiding us on the Breakfast Tour, making our stay in Cappadocia such an enjoyable & restorative one ❤️
GGuest UserVery bad breakfast, limited choices and bad quality. Room service was not great barely changing bins. No new towels and no new soaps. Great reception, pretty nice rooms, great location near shops and restaurants.
GGuest UserThe hotel property is very nice and the staff was exceptional. Except the air in the room was very stale and hot, and we were put right next to the road so it was very noisy and hard to sleep, the roof of the room is made from wood so along with car noise and a bus of people being very loud at 6am then around 7:30 the people upstairs walked on top of our heads for an hour and cars almost shake the room. Also the pool is too cold in May to swim…all in all it is a nice hotel with very polite staff but I recommend asking for a quiet room away from the road and a fan for a decent sleep. Breakfast was very good.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was fine, and there was even a small indoor cave pool. However, the location was incredibly noisy. I'm not sure if it was just my room or the entire hotel, but it was directly below a loudspeaker that was either chanting or praying, starting at 5:50 AM every single morning. And every night there were dogs barking, car noises, and all sorts of loud, unidentifiable sounds. Plus, the bathroom seemed to have no heating, and the fridge in the room often buzzed loudly in the middle of the night. It was truly unbearable. I booked a terrace room (Room 12), and mine had a small private terrace, but my friend's was shared with others, which was a bit of a letdown.
GGuest UserWe stayed with a group of eight friends. The hotel has a great location and beautiful design. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need, beautifully decorated, and clean. Because the hotel is a cave-style building, there's always sand on the floor. The breakfasts were delicious. Cons: We asked for twin rooms, but unfortunately, none of the six rooms had single beds. We bought a melon and asked reception for a knife. They sent us to the restaurant, but they refused to help us there either, not even offering to cut it for a fee. The hammam didn't work, the sauna was useless because it was cold, and the pool was very cold.
