Hotel near Taiyuan Street,Shenyang
GGuest User 2025.08.24
A definite 5-star recommendation! The hotel's location is superb, just a stone's throw from Taiyuan Street and a short walk from the subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. All your dining and shopping needs are easily met nearby. The hotel service truly deserves full praise. A big thank you to the staff working on the afternoon of August 16th, especially a lady at the front desk – my apologies for not remembering your name. The hotel breakfast offers an incredibly rich and varied spread, with authentic flavors that are both visually appealing and delicious. The gym is spacious, bright, and well-equipped. The room facilities are luxurious. Although they show slight signs of age, this in no way diminishes their luxury or functionality. However, I would suggest the hotel implements a more thorough and regular cleaning schedule for some of the sofa upholstery. Additionally, the room layout could be further optimized. For example, regarding bed placement in family suites: while I understand the current design philosophy, I recommend reconfiguring some rooms to place both the large and small beds in the bedroom, thereby restoring the living room function. Furthermore, the food and service at the Tang Palace restaurant on the 6th floor are also excellent. Beyond a 5-star recommendation – this is my top choice when visiting Shenyang!

This stay far exceeded my expectations! The room was impeccably clean; the bathroom mirror was spotless with no water marks, and the towels were fluffy and odorless. The mattress offered just the right amount of support, and I couldn't hear any corridor noise at night – the soundproofing was perfect. The shower had hot water in 3 seconds with excellent water pressure, and the toiletries had a lovely scent. The most pleasant surprise was the front desk proactively recommending some hidden gem restaurants nearby, which was incredibly thoughtful. The location right next to the business district makes getting around super convenient. Highly recommend!

Hilton Garden Inn and DoubleTree Hotel are in the same building. The hotel facilities are very good. It is worth mentioning that the service staff are of high quality. They helped us upgrade the room type for free, and the room was a little bigger. Dinner was eaten in the restaurant on the second floor. The ingredients were very fresh, the dishes were served quickly, the portions were large, and the price was reasonable. Breakfast was also a buffet on the second floor and it was also very rich. Facilities: Robots deliver takeout, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, there is a small refrigerator, and it is very clean overall.

The room was spacious, clean, and very new. The hotel's location is also excellent, with convenient transportation, making it easy to get anywhere and nothing is too far. The breakfast was also delicious, offering both Western and Chinese options. I'm very satisfied! If I ever come back to Shenyang, I'll definitely stay here again. It's really close to Beishichang, Xita Food Street, the Forbidden City, and Zhongjie Pedestrian Street!

Hotel near Guanmenshan Scenic Area,Benxi County 26.6% of visitors choose this area
QQimiaodedengta 2025.07.09
The purpose of this trip to Benxi was twofold: Firstly, to take my seventy-year-old parents back to Benxi Water Caves, revisiting a place from their vibrant youth and reliving those passionate memories. Secondly, it was to help my daughter de-stress before she transitions from primary to junior high, as she's about to step into the demanding arena of life. **Reason for choosing this place:** We picked Guan Shan Lake Xikang Yunshe because its online photos were simply breathtaking – showcasing stunning scenery, lush greenery, magnificent views, and picturesque beauty that truly captivated me and made me want to experience it firsthand. (Honestly, with so many guesthouses and hotels sprouting up across Benxi like mushrooms after rain these past two years, to avoid decision paralysis, I simply picked the top-ranked one.) **First Impression:** The mountains were in a languid slumber, while the clouds playfully sketched the outline of a castle. At three in the afternoon, the golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, bathing the grey castle in a glow that felt like a divine touch and special favor. (Though this description might seem a bit exaggerated, I believe even Eileen Chang would write it this way.) Let me discuss the facilities, hygiene, environment, service, unique hot springs, and buffet breakfast all at once: * **Facilities:** Among all hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, these are personally the most satisfactory and my favorite. * **Hygiene:** There's still room for improvement. I admit I have exceptionally high standards for cleanliness; my husband, whose pocket money has been depleted by my pickiness, can attest to that. * **Environment:** The advantages here are self-evident: blessed with unique green mountains, clear waters, and swirling mist. There's simply no room for me to find fault, and I suspect the people of Benxi wouldn't allow it anyway! * **Service:** I deliberately tried to count the staff members I encountered: two doormen, four charming front desk staff, a villa driver, a room cleaning attendant, kitchen/delivery personnel, staff in the hot spring area, and dining areas... Oh, never mind, I confess my math isn't good enough to count them all. In short, every staff member I met was patient, caring, and dedicated. Their service was perfectly balanced, attentive without being overly enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel management behind the scenes certainly deserves a grand commendation. * **Unique Hot Springs:** Both my mom and daughter had a wonderful time soaking. My daughter was thrilled because there was unlimited ice cream available, which she could openly and freely enjoy – something I don't usually permit at home. My mom, in turn, was happy seeing her daughter so joyful. Given that the ice cream was actually quite high-quality, I even broke my own rule and indulged in quite a bit. It wasn't just about taking advantage of something free; it was more about not wanting to be a hypocrite with one rule for them and another for me. There were also plenty of unlimited fruits and snacks, perfect for quenching thirst and cooling down. * **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety. I prefer strong flavors in the morning and enjoyed a generous amount of boiled shrimp, baked beans in tomato sauce, Italian beef brisket, bacon, and homemade yogurt. For those who prefer lighter options, the traditional Chinese breakfast choices were truly dazzling. **A Side Note:** At 4:27 AM, I leaned by the hot spring pool in my room. The water temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, exactly half a degree higher than my body temperature – just enough to help my tense nerves loosen their first button. True enjoyment, I realized, is found in places where even time seems to slow down. At that moment, I gazed at the mist still lingering over the distant mountains and fields outside my window, then slowly closed my eyes, drifting back into a soothing dream, only to be awakened by: ”Mom, Mom, Mom, is the hot spring water ready for me?!”

Went to Dalian with friends and checked out all the five-star hotels there. We finally settled on the Shangri-La and were very satisfied. We had booked two rooms beforehand because we wanted to see them before deciding which one to stay in. Yilia assisted us, explaining the differences between the rooms and showing them to us. We ultimately chose the Deluxe Twin Room, and all our requests were met. The floor was great, and the view was excellent. They even knew it was my birthday and decorated the room for me, sending a cake and red wine. A big thank you to the lovely Yilia! As for the hotel itself, as a well-established five-star hotel, the Shangri-La truly lives up to its reputation in terms of decor, facilities, location, and service – all five-star quality. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Dalian.

I really can't praise the housekeeping staff and the front desk lady at this hotel enough! When I first arrived, I wasn't used to the room temperature and felt it was a bit dry, so I put several cups of water out before going to sleep. The next day, the housekeeping staff brought us a humidifier, and after that, whenever we came back, we'd find the humidifier filled with plenty of water – it was truly wonderful. Later, because my flight was booked for quite late, I asked if I could extend my stay, and the front desk lady immediately processed the extension for me.

The biggest surprise during my stay at this hotel was the city night view! Facing Youth Street, and located at its very end, I had a panoramic view of the entire street – absolutely stunning! Plus, Alisa, the Guest Relations Manager, arranged a suite on the highest floor for me! She proactively checked in on my experience throughout my stay and helped me with various procedures and coordination at the hotel, something I haven't encountered elsewhere! Definitely five-star praise! The hotel also has a pool and a gym, which is great. The location is superb. It's a 15-minute taxi ride to Zhongjie and 28 minutes to Shenyang Station, both very convenient. Shenyang is really nice; you can take a high-speed train for half an hour to Benxi to try their specialty dried tofu skin, which is excellent.

Facilities: A bit dated, with small cracks on the cabinet above the mini-fridge and some wall areas, as shown in the last two photos. Overall, it's nothing major and doesn't affect the stay; considering it's a hotel over ten years old, one shouldn't be too demanding. The hotel's facilities are generally complete, with standard luxury hotel amenities. The breakfast is decent; it offers more variety than some Westins but less than some Marriotts. However, the quality is good, especially the desserts which are delicious, and there's a wide selection of juices and milk. Some Marriott hotels even offer a full Cantonese dim sum spread, whereas here there are only a few hot dishes, making the variety seem limited, but the taste is excellent. The potatoes in the pork rib stew are very fragrant, and the boiled shrimp are quite large. All the fruits weren't sweet enough; the fruit quality could be improved. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: A landmark building in Dalian, nestled against the mountain and overlooking the sea – definitely worth a visit. It's even more stunning for photos at night. It's about a 10 to 15-minute walk downhill, and a bit far from the subway station, but it's away from the city's hustle and bustle, and getting a taxi is very convenient. There's a sky garden on the 5th floor, and the lobby is magnificent; any photo taken there looks great. Service: Thoughtful and attentive. Someone helps open car doors and handle luggage upon arrival. There's a dedicated butler service that tries its best to accommodate reasonable guest requests. The mini-bar requires extra payment, but a welcome fruit platter and dessert were provided, along with a large bottle of homemade beer. This hotel's beer isn't available online, but it's genuinely delicious.

SShenzhenyerenA truly upscale hotel. The decor is very stylish and well-designed. They pay attention to the details; for instance, the stainless steel towel rack is heated, a bit warm to the touch, which can dry your towels and prevents that cold, metallic feeling after a hot shower. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation. My room was on a high floor, offering great city views. The front desk is on the 88th floor, and the elevators are incredibly fast; you can definitely feel the pressure change in your ears on the way up.

AAnonymous UserI had mistakenly booked a street-view room when I was really hoping for a sea-view one. However, Lin Junjie at the front desk was incredibly helpful! He enthusiastically assisted me in upgrading to a junior suite by just paying the price difference. The room was spacious and offered a fantastic view. The breakfast selection was also extensive – to use a Northeastern Chinese phrase I've just picked up, it was 'gaga-de' (absolutely superb)! Definitely a top rating!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

1109362****I really like Kempinski. While we were still in Harbin, they called to ask about our needs and proactively offered us a complimentary upgrade to a VIP twin room. The room was huge, the bathroom was large (about 10 square meters, bright and airy with a window), and the wardrobe was spacious enough to fit large suitcases. The tea area was a separate space, offering privacy and comfort. There were plenty of surfaces to neatly organize various items, which was fantastic (a large bay window ledge, a shelf above the headboard, and various shelves around the TV). Additionally, they noticed we drink a lot of water and provided us with many bottles daily. All their services are excellent, the hotel environment is great, and the location is convenient for getting around. Our stay there was a very good experience. For dining and local specialties, Dalian Mall is just a 5-6 minute walk away. The first floor sells various snacks, freshly prepared cooked food, and local products. Before heading back to Shanghai, we went there to buy all sorts of local foods.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a fantastic location. Right outside, you'll find a scenic viewing platform, conveniently situated between Gates 3 and 4. For just 20 RMB, you can enjoy unlimited rides on the shuttle bus all day, which conveniently connects all gates from 1 to 7. Gates 3 and 7 offer water activities, while Gate 6 features a charming beach dotted with pink tents. If you're looking for dining options, Gates 1 and 2 have a wider selection. In the evenings, Gate 3 also hosts vibrant stage performances. The hotel rooms are generously sized. Photos 1, 7, and 10-13 below were all taken from the hotel balcony, showcasing the stunning views. In the evenings, you can clearly hear the lively buzz from the Gate 3 performances, and at 9:30 PM, you're treated to the spectacular fireworks display from Discoveryland. It's also a perfect spot to catch the sunrise in the morning.

AAnonymous UserIt was a rare opportunity to travel with friends, and we specifically wanted a sea view, so we booked a sea-view room. The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking; the vast sea truly merged with the sky, giving a real sense of 'sea and sky as one.' It was even bluer and more beautiful in reality than what my phone could capture. I must especially commend the service at the Four Seasons; it was truly exceptional. They were incredibly accommodating, essentially fulfilling every request. We arrived in Dalian in the early hours of the morning, and to our delight, the hotel had thoughtfully prepared sandwiches and snacks in our room. On the day of our departure, our flight was delayed, and the Four Seasons was incredibly helpful, graciously allowing us a late check-out. I'll definitely choose the Four Seasons again if I visit Dalian in the future.

JjtravelsThis is an instagrammable hotel that offers quality service. From checking in to checking out you will be assisted by the staff. There is an open beach a few steps away with 2-3 cafe shops. One of them is Caan. The buffet breakfast offers delicious western and Chinese breakfast. The rooms are nicely designed with a balcony overlooking the beach. Snacks and drinks are also offered for free including a welcome fruit plate. Toiletries are of quality and smells really good. Japanese toilet is another plus! The bed and pillows are all comfortable. They also offer activities like boat and paddle board riding. If u need help with anything including attractions to see, they have a wechat account and they respond quick. I highly recommend this place if you want a more quiet place to stay. And of course the private beach front setup is so relaxing and offers a great view both day and night!
