small temple
Worth a stop. I always like how these temple look. Vibrant red color and nice japanese paper lanterns. It can be seen a few walks in between our hotel b tokyo suidobashi to the train station.
although it is so many stairs but worth to visit. overall environment is beautiful and peaceful. hill view also good. temple is quite old and worth to visit. love it.
I wanted to pay the amulet of Kotohiragu, but I couldn't get time to go to Kagawa Prefecture, so when I was wondering what to do, I found out that there is a Tokyo branch. The location of the Tokyo branch is opposite Tokyo Dome City across Hakusan Dori street, so it is just a short walk from Suidobashi Station. This is a shrine located a few minutes from Suidobashi Station. There is a large torii gate, and it seems to be one of the six branch shrines of Kotohiragu in Kagawa. The precincts were clean and the cherry blossoms were in bloom.
It is located right from Suidobashi Station. There are Sanuki udon shops nearby, and this area is Sanuki. There is also a hall next door, so you can have a wedding. It was founded in 1819. The main deity was Emperor Sutoku, who was defeated by Emperor Goshirakawa and exiled to Sanuki during the Omonoshu and Hogen wars. Emperor Sutoku has a legend of vengeful spirits, but it is worshiped as a guardian deity in Shikoku.
