Mount Lion in Junan Dashan! The wild route is fun and challenging to climb
1️⃣ No entrance fee, it's a wild mountain. Use navigation to locate the mountain and park your car at the foot of the mountain. 2️⃣ There are two paths up the mountain: one is a stairway, the official route, and the other is a wild path. We chose the wild path, climbing over huge rocks the entire way, which was very fun! Walk up from the foot of the mountain for ten minutes until you reach a fork. The right side is the all-stairway route, we chose the left side. After a few more minutes, there are no more stairs, only huge rocks. Just keep climbing straight toward the pavilion at the summit. 3️⃣ At the top, there is a circular mountain trail with cliffs and precipices that are very beautiful and photogenic (see p2). 4️⃣ Going up, coming down, and walking the trail takes more than four hours. 5️⃣ There is no commercialization on the mountain, so you need to bring your own water and snacks, and restroom facilities are inconvenient.

Maqi Mountain, also known as Maqi Mountain or Tianma Island, is located 16 km north of the Junan County seat. It serves as the boundary mountain between the cities of Linyi (Junan) and Rizhao (Lanshan). The mountain range runs east-west and is an extension of the Laoshan Mountains. It stands as a shining pearl and a magnificent wonder within the Yimeng Mountain area. Its highest peak, Jinpenting, reaches an elevation of 662.2 meters, making it the tallest in southeastern Shandong. Maqi Mountain rises abruptly from the ground, majestic and imposing, with layered giant rocks and a grand presence. From a distance, it resembles a galloping steed with flying hooves and a flowing mane, which is how it earned the name Maqi Mountain. In summer, there is lush greenery, gurgling water, fresh air, and the blue water and blue sky are extremely transparent and clear. Happy little fish and shrimps swim happily underwater. It is a great place to relax with the elderly and children!

Hiking Mount Tai at night, haha, it's definitely worth bringing kids and family for a unique outdoor experience. The kids were great! With so many people, it was less tiring. We climbed a bit, rested a few steps, and finished in three hours. Our legs weren't sore at all when we came down. I really want to climb it again!

Quoc Luong TranLaoshan Scenic Spot
The scenic area is truly vast, with attractions quite far apart. It gets incredibly crowded during holidays, with long queues for sightseeing buses and cable cars. Make sure to allow ample time for your return trip during holidays. We took the coastal route, with mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The rocky coastline scenery was exceptionally beautiful. I recommend taking two days outside of holidays to leisurely explore Laoshan's stunning mountain and sea views and experience the local culture, without rushing around.
M41***50Baotu Spring
Finally, I saw Baotu Spring, which I'd read about in textbooks! The garden isn't large, but the ancient pavilions and weeping willows beside the clear spring are very pleasant. Seeing the three springs bubbling upwards with my own eyes was much more vivid than in the photos; the water was crystal clear, and koi carp swam leisurely. There's also a memorial hall for Li Qingzhao inside, and the atmosphere was quite nice as I strolled around. The main spring area was a bit crowded, so finding a quiet spot for photos was a challenge. An hour or so is enough to leisurely explore; it's definitely worth a visit when in Jinan.

I never imagined that Jiangsu Province could have such a blue sea! The sea and sky blend into one beautiful view, the sand is soft, and the transportation within the scenic area is convenient and quick. I had a very pleasant time. I love it and will definitely come again!
she***maWang Xizhi's Former Residence
The former residence of Wang Xizhi, the Sage of Calligraphy, is located in the urban area of Linyi City. The park has a particularly beautiful and comfortable environment, especially the bamboo shoots after the rain. The tender bamboo shoots are sprouting from the ground, and I have never seen such tender bamboo shoots before. They are everywhere.

In late October, the cable car was closed for maintenance for two days, but thankfully there was a sightseeing bus available. The scenic area has many stone carvings, and there was a short film about the Monkey King in the Water Curtain Cave. The mountaintop is Jade Maiden Peak, the highest peak in Jiangsu Province, offering panoramic views of Lianyungang. There are also some old artifacts and restored pieces from the Wanli period.
