Ginza Capital Hotel Akane Reviews

The front desk staff could converse in English so that was a big plus. The room though small, was comfortable. Location was good. Within a short walk to Tsukiji subway station.

Ginza Capital Akane was a great value-for-money accommodation. It is a little dated, the pillows are a little firmer than I'd like, and the airconditioning/heating doesn't work particularly well, but these were minor inconveniences. The hotel was clean, and the breakfasts were more than decent. It is also walking distance from the nearest station and a number of convenience stores.

We got the room that was bigger than the average room. The hotel is clean. The location was great too. The subway Just the opposite of the hotel and very near to Tsukiji subway station. Very near to ginza area. There are 3 convenient store nearby, 1 just beside the hotel. We are from Indonesia, and were very lucky to meet the Indonesian’ receptiont, she was very kind. And the japanese receptiont were very helpful too. They let us keep our luggage at the reception before the check in time. Its a wonderful stay! Very recommended and will be back for sure :)

1) I stayed for 6 days and 5 nights with breakfast, and there were only 3 fixed selection items everyday. However, I felt a bit bored on the third day. If it can be changed to buffet or semi-buffet is much better, there will be more choices. 2) The toothbrush provided by the hotel has a very hard brush head, and the enamel on the teeth will be brushed off even with the slightest force. The gums will also bleed. And the tooth paste is difficult to squeeze out. There is also a smell in the bathroom, which requires tape water for more than 10 minutes before it subsides. 3) The electric kettle only ha a small capacity and cannot be reheated continuously. If you want to have cup noodles as a late night snack, you cannot handle 1 large, or even 2 small portions at the same time. Overall it's good. Clean with convenient transportation. It takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the subway entrance, and 15-20 minutes to Tsukiji Market and Ginza.

The room is small, and it doesn't have a humidifier. After a long night breathing air from the air conditioner would let us become very dry. The location is very good that is close to Tsujiki and has 2 metro lines.

Very convenient hotel 300m from Tsukiji station and 850m to the market I stayed twice on this trip after been to somewhere and stayed over for next flight Japanese breakfast set was good

The hotel is very close to the metro station. The room is clean with adequate size. Breakfast is very good. We enjoy our stay here.

If you’re a solo traveller and like walking Great location to about 20min walk from the back of the hotel to Ginza shopping centre, the Tokyo JR, subway stations. All the famous brand shopping mall just above the station. The hotel is very immaculately clean and comfy and spacious to stay. The toilet /shower is new and spotless. The only thing is the the noise from the water tap is super loud when turn on. Quite disappointed to see one of the towel have brown smeared marks on it, it maybe have been used (house cleaning issues). Other than that housecleaning was great they make the bed new gown and slippers, great teabags refilled. A great service. The wall is somewhat Jon sound proof but we slept through after the busy day out. So not quite a problem for us. The window can open and lots of cool air can come in. I like the air freshener keep our room and shoes refreshed. We stayed at rm452. It’s a great room The receptionists were fantastic most don’t speak English , one lady speaks little but unfriendly service, one young handsome with gorgeous thick eyebrows the most friendly and speaks very good English, he deserves our 5star. He’s the only friendly guy and very helpful. I got his name wrong so I can’t write it here. The restaurant old man service was great, my daughter has allergies to shrimp and the good old man changes some of the dishes to accommodate her which was so kind and very nice. The restaurant kitchen hand deserve the five stars from us. Overall we had a very smooth stay.

Rooms are a bit small but service is fine. Clean too. Location is off the busy area which is also nice

The location is close to lots of metro station like Tsukiji, there's Lawson beside the hotel. Room is very packed, i can't even open my 28' suitcase fully. You must check in exactly at 3pm or else you need to pay extra fee. So if you have early arrival better noted this. Another thing they can't help you to book a taxi, so you need to catch a taxi by the road yourself

The location near Tsukiji is convenient and has a pleasant atmosphere.Recommended 2 mins walk from Tsukiji Metro station exit no.3A

The location of this one was better than expected, it seemed quite easy to get to most of Tokyo or even further afield. The hotel was nice but perhaps slightly basic, which I think is as described.

Not really in Ginza area. Close to metro station. Breakfast is very good - staff was efficient serving food!
