WWesleyjaiThe room is very spacious and highly recommended, with everything you need, including basic cooking utensils and dining ware. The bed is also large and very comfortable. This is a contactless hotel with no staff on-site. The hotel's location is very close to Bad Goisern train station, just an 8-minute walk. There are also restaurants and pizza places nearby. However, if you're staying in the summer, be aware that the hotel does not have air conditioning.

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in Gosau, Austria. You can reach the hotel directly by taking bus 150 from Salzburg, then transferring to buses 541 and 542. Gosau is about a 30-minute drive from Lake Hallstatt.
The hotel itself is a large wooden lodge, with the reception and restaurant conveniently located next to each other.
The room was a good size and had a balcony. The sink and shower are separate from the toilet, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend booking a west-facing room, as it offers breathtaking views of the distant snow-capped mountains. We opted for both breakfast and dinner; breakfast was a bit basic, but dinner was decent. Overall, it offers good value for money.

GGuest UserThis hotel is the second-best spot for postcards, right next to the church and very close to the scenic viewpoint. We were lucky enough to be assigned a room in the main building with a balcony facing the lake, which was peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant also overlooks the lake.

FForever GratefulVery nice resort with spacious compound, and very convenient. We took a boat from the resort to Hallstatt, 10 euro per person. From Hallstatt, there is a public bus taking us right to the bus stop in front of the resort.
However, I was quite disappointed with the wrong information in trip.com regarding the rooms. Intially I wanted to book a chalet with 2 rooms as we are a group of 2 couples. When i made the booking, trip.com website stated that 1 room can fit in max 2 persons. So naturally i had to book 2 rooms. When i arrived that the resort i was shocked to find out that I was misled to pay for 2 chalets with 4 rooms! We didn't use the other chalet of course.
It was totally unfair that because of the wrong information in trip.com, we have to pay for 2 other rooms that we didn't need at all.
I am asking for compensation from trip.com regarding my loss and it's been 4 days and i am still waiting to hear from them for a solution.

GGuest UserVisibly clean, but dirty if you looked close (moldy shower). In the standard double that I stayed in, you will get two (only 2) outlets in your room and neither will be near the bed. You will have one trashcan in the bathroom that is smaller than a gallon/two liters. Other than that, not horrible.
The restaurant is very expensive if you’re traveling on a budget (€40 Weiner schnitzel, so I would recommend finding something else to eat. If you plan on having more than a coffee for breakfast, definitely get a breakfast plan st the hotel. It is about €12 a morning and a cappuccino will run you about €8 euros in the resturant. A breakfast plan gets you whatever you want in the resturant in the morning for free!
If you’re planning on exploring the area, you’ll definitely want a car or bike, do NOT rely on public transit or you will end up paying a lot for taxis. You also cannot rely on uber because you’re too far away from Salzburg.

Ssaushan chengNice staffs and easy checkin and out.Great location and they got a spacious parking lot. They got the self serviced laundry area with washing machine and dryer. Great choice for road trip travelers or backpackers. But our room needs more cleaning, there are still dust and others’ hair when we get in the room.

GGuest UserEverything was perfect except that we had check-in at another hotel which is about 5 mins drive from where we booked. It would be nice to give us an information beforehand not surprise us by a little note on the property and told us to follow the location. There was no parking spot at all at the hotel we had to check-in. Good thing that I wasn't a solo traveller. I can't imagine how I could check-in since the check-in location is far from walking distance and there wasn't a spot to park at the check-in location.
