Great hotel experience- the staff here are incredibly kind and helpful, particularly Yan Yan who set us up with a bunch of snacks and water as well as helpful tips for catching the sunrise. The room was very clean; just fyi the bed is very firm. The location is great for seeing sunrise as it is ~30 min walk/climb to the Bright Summit.  The food is tasty! The included breakfast buffet was the perfect fueling for a day of climbing. It’s nothing fancy but tasty and nutritious.  We took a scenic route up to the hotel via the Yuping Gondola (front side), which led to quite a climb from where we got off to where the hotel is. It was full of beautiful sights but it took about an hour of uphill ascent — 1.5mi walk and 800ft of climbing. The hotel might be easier to get to from the Yungge Gondola (back side).  There’s a little shop with snacks in the lobby, as well as a little cafe.

We booked elegant room deluxe area A and room was very large and clean. Location very convenient to watch sunset (10 minutes) and hotel had a guide lead a group at 5:20am to watch sunrise 30 minutes away. Front desk gave helpful map with recommended hiking trails.

Hotel was great - particularly as it's on top of a mountain - and that in itself is special! Costs for everything are expensive but fair considering the location. The room is fairly small (but very functional), you won't need space as you won't have luggage. Room comes with warm jackets and a torch so you don't need to bring those things for a sunset/sunrise. We were in what seemed like a newer block so the interior was modern. Shower was hot and decent. Breakfast and dinner (180 yuan per person) had impressive variety considering everything gets up the mountain on a cable car and then manually carried to the hotel. Location is good as it's next to the Taiping cableway but we walked from the popular Yuping cableway carrying small overnight packs. It is very possible in one day! We descended the next day via the Yungu cableway which was a much easier walk. Note the closest lookout for both is a 20min uphill walk with the path starting from the hotel (and another path for those who aren't staying there.) We saw a spectacular sunset and not much of a sunrise. Both were well worth it but of course you're at the mercy of the weather. Receptionists could speak basic English and will also give you bottles of water and communicate weather and sunset conditions to you via WeChat. If you can't understand Mandarin you can use the translate function in WeChat. Free laundry service too but we didn't use it.

WOWOW what a convenient location! Right in front of the bus transfer station to go up Huangshan. Nice clean room with a good bed. Most importantly strong hot shower as well. Very glad I booked this, a few other hotels in the vicinity looked very old. 10/10 would recommend. Will definitely come back.

Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. From the quality of the hotel’s breakfast and location to the responsiveness of our assigned caretaker: 小河(XiaoHe). Upon arrival I added 小河’s WeChat and was shown - on a map - what I could expect to see given the length of our stay. I was even given information about the likelihood of a clear sunset/sunrise - and when my girlfriend needed it 小河 called the mountain clinic to purchase Pain killers! My favorite part of the hotel will have to be its location. It’s a 30 minute walk from YunGu cablecar, a 10 minute walk from a good sunset/sunrise spot!

Facilities: The facilities are still very new. The only drawback is that the windows cannot be opened, which is very embarrassing. Hygiene: The hygiene is very clean, dry and wet are separated, and the toilet seat is disposable. Environment: There are no places to eat around, and people dance square dance at around 8 o'clock. Service: The attitude is OK, not particularly good, but not impolite.

The young lady at reception was extremely helpful to assist with transport, directions and travel advise. In general, all the staff were v helpful. Rooms were clean and the smart features were a value-add to the hotel. Lotsa amenities and restaurants within walking distance. We left our luggage at the hotel while we climbed huangshan. Location was within the huangshan scenic area which was right next to the transport hub (see image) to the huangshan cable car stations. That made it v convenient if U’re climbing huangshan but posed some confusion to taxi and private-hire as it’s within a gated compound. But all tat aside, We’l definitely return again is we visited huangshan in future.

Seamless check in and was introduced to a personal butler LeLe for the duration of our stay. He was extremely helpful and attentive to our requests such as late request for special buckwheat and cassia seed pillows (highly recommended for good sleep). He also gave useful tips about getting around town. Having wechat communication with LeLe helped us feel welcome, with a friend in Hefei and well looked after. 🤗⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🤗

This was my first visit to the famous Huangshan. My tour agent helped us book the entrance fee, cable car, and electric bus tickets. We needed to show our passports at every entry or boarding point, as the electronic tickets were linked to our passport numbers. The hotel we stayed at is a nice one, located right next to the Yuping cable car. However, be prepared to climb another 15 minutes to reach the hotel. We arrived early at 10 am, so our room was not available yet. We left our small backpacks at the hotel and trekked to the Bright Summit. Along the way, we saw monkeys and passed by the Baiyun Hotel. By the time we returned to Yupinglou Hotel, it was almost evening. The trek was scenic but very tiring, with many stairs. Our kind and helpful host, Yu Jian, from Yupinglou Hotel was in constant contact with us through WeChat and recommended places to visit. This hotel is closest to the Celestial Capital Peak, but I was too tired to climb it the next morning. I highly recommend climbing this peak and will do it if I have the chance to visit again. Overall, it’s a nice hotel to stay in. Don’t expect too many luxuries, as it’s located on top of a rugged mountain. Even the vegetables and food need to be carried by porters to the hotels, which is no easy task.

A great hotel in a very convenient location in walking distance to Huangshan North train station. Great breakfast with a nice spread across local specialties and western varieties. Shout out to Wendy in the restaurant who was super nice and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Good location, not too far from Tangkou bus transfer terminal. When we arrived here, we asked a local to help us call them and they immediately sent a car to picked us up. Transport to and fro Tangkou bus terminal was free. The room was clean, facilities good, separate toilet/bathroom. Building not so new but facilities well maintained and clean. Breakfast was Chinese style buffet, simple but adequate. Service from all the staff from front desk, the boss, the driver, the restaurant staff and the cleaning lady were excellent. I stayed in 5 hotels during this trip to China and this hotel provided the best service. The driver even helped us to get a direct transfer to our subsequent Tunxi hotel, without us getting fleeced. I believe the hotel, restaurant and adjoining mini-mart are all family owned.

I must express my deep appreciation to hotel butler Tina, thanks to her elegant& considerate service in whole journey. Next trip I will continue to carry my family to visit the Park Hyatt.

The hotel is in a good location near San Xiao Kou MRT. So we took the bus from hefei airport to Sanxiaokou, walked about 6-700 meters and reached the hotel. Breakfast was also good. I love Chinese food but still have sausages and fried potatoes. The vegetable menu is super delicious especially the tomatoes. The receptionists are nice in general but they do not speak English at all and seem not to really understand what you are trying to say. So, travelling with someone who can speak Chinese would make a better experience in Hefei. The room has all necessary amenities. Shampoo, Conditioners and soap are Treseme. Has hair dryer, towel, room shoes, 2 bottles of water. If I come back to Hefei, I will book this hotel again.

Following a hiccup during check-in, the experience at this hotel was positive. The manager provided excellent service and the room was quiet, with a nice view. Location is excellent (next to the walking street and a large mall, with great dining options). The breakfast is Chinese, and could benefit from a couple of choices appropriate for foreign guests.

The room was well arranged, the hotel staff was very friendly, there weren't many places to eat nearby but it wasn't far from the subway. The only pity was that the breakfast cakes and bread were a bit too sweet, and the juice was directly poured from bottled concentrated juice, but the rest was pretty good.

The hotel room is very good, with a standard area and reasonable functional areas. The front desk upgraded the room type with a bathtub. It was very comfortable to take a bath at night and relieve the fatigue of the day. The hotel staff also had a good sense of service. The front desk check-in introduction was comprehensive. The breakfast variety and taste were very good. Because I am from Hefei, their breakfast is more in line with my taste, especially the tofu pudding is very authentic. I will come to eat it next time. Very good, in short, it is worth recommending.

It’s right after exiting highway, so traffic is not a problem. View from room and breakfast options are good. Bathroom was luxurious with nice jacuzzi.

A good 4-star level hotel. Good breakfast, good amenities including a gym and a swimming pool. Located not far away from the Hefei South railway station, but a bit far away from the closest underground (will be fixed when a new line is completed). Overall good value for money.

It was my first time staying at The Langham Hefei, but I can also say it was my third as I extended my stay twice. The staff's courtesy, warmth and the right level of care started right at the moment I entered the hotel lobby. The wall to wall and floor to ceiling marble can be cold, but The Langham Hefei 's lobby feels warm and welcoming due to the yellow hue of its lighting I believe and its staff. I immediately smelled flowers after I stepped in the lobby, pleasant, not overwhelming. It came from a huge bouquet composed of hundreds of pink lilies, not the pink roses representing The Langham. I prefer lily's smell anyway. The bouquet is by the front desk, so guests could enjoy lilies while waiting for check-in. As a matter of fact, I waited no time. Ada Yang greeted me immediately and checked me in within 2 minutes. I was very glad I moved from the other 5-star hotel which I had been told was the ceiling of the Hefei hotel scene. It took that hotel 10 minutes to check me in. The breakfast experience at The Langham Hefei was also great! The Seasons restaurant is big enough so that the seating was always available whenever I went down, which was not the case at the other hotel. In addition to daily cleaning, House keeping also came in the afternoon to make sure every everything is in good order and ask if additional supplies are needed. After two nights stay, I decided to change my original hotel hopping plan and continued staying at The Langham Hefei. It was again Ada Yang who helped me with the extension. She was warm, professional and efficient as always. Due to my itinerary change, I extended my stay the second time. This time it was Kristen He (XIAO He) who helped me. I experienced the same Langham quality from Xiao He - courtesy, warmth, knowledge and efficiency. She explained to me the responsibilities of each front line role and Langham's efforts to optimize guests' experience.She even went extra miles to ask her manager's permission to give me a complimentary Happy Hour. The Happy Hour is on the 44th floor at The Langham Club where mini buffet and beverage are provided 5:30 - 8:00pm. The staff there, Tracy, Lucy and Anne, were equally exceptional! They were proactive and ready to help. I asked for a Cosmo, but the cranberry juice had run out. Lucy made one with grapefruit juice and it tasted wonderful! Thank you, Ada, Xiao He, Tracy, Lucy, Ann and each every staff I met, you made my stay a memorable one!

Let's talk about the advantages first: 1 The location is very good. It's only 100 meters away from the South Gate parking lot. You can check in at the Nanhu Painting Bridge the next morning. The light is best between 7 and 8 o'clock on a sunny autumn day, and a large number of tourists have not arrived yet. If you want to choose a hotel in the scenic area, this one is a better choice 2 The proprietress is very warm and hospitable, 3 The interior is newly decorated, simple and clean The disadvantages are: The bathroom has a strong smell. Just enter the South Gate of Hongcun! The transportation is very convenient. The guy picked up the guests and sent the luggage to the room. The Nanhu Lake is at the door. The view on the second floor is nice. I stayed in a duplex for one night. The details are rare in homestays. Disposable paper cups are covered with plastic bags, there are toilet mats, and the corridors are carpeted. The sound insulation of a century-old house is a bit inferior. There are also sticky notes to remind guests to speak softly. The overall living environment, service attitude, and cost performance are very high. Hahahaha, the most important thing is that the food is really delicious! It tastes better than the Internet celebrity restaurant I went to the day before. The boss almost wrote on his face that I am not a pre-prepared dish. He asked every five minutes if I was satisfied with the food. Hahahahahaha Finally, one point for the kitten who is open!

Perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. The entrance to the hotel is a cute, beautiful courtyard, everything is close by. Communication was easy via WeChat, they came to pick us up and carried out heavy luggage all the way to the parking lot, and helped us do laundry in the hotel. The only comments are that the room got some noise from the street, which was very busy at all times, and it wasn’t very well ventilated. They replaced our towels and toiletries but they didn’t make the bed or clean up the room. In any case this is a great choice for spending a couple of nights right in the middle of Hongcun!

I highly recommend this place. First of all, the service is super good. The boss came to pick us up when it was raining heavily, and sent us out the next day. The room is clean and tidy. Although it is a century-old house, the sound insulation is very good. It is very close to Nanhu Lake and the food tastes very good.

This was a trip that I took my 86 years old mom to travel with me. After a long bullet train ride and shuttle ride, Banyan Tree Huangshan gave us a warm welcome by upgrading our room to a villa. The place is beautifully designed, nested in a valley with traditional Hui style building. Inside the rooms, they have the western style bedroom and bathroom comforts, but the deco is traditional Chinese arts with a modern twist, very elegant, not the tacky hotel chain style but details that fits the surrounding nature beauty. All the rooms and facilities are very clean, and service people are very nice too. We had the front desk clerk Sweet, who updated our stay and a room cleaning lady May Zhang who helped us with our needs. Very thankful to their help! The outside garden design blends in with the surrounding mountains. They even have a petting zoo for visitors young and old. We dined in their Chinese restaurant the first night. The foods were good but I won't say exceptional. For two of us, it was way too much in food quantity for one order. We felt bad to waste food this way. Wish they have had smaller choices. But their breakfast is very impressive. And even though they are very close to Hong Village where the shuttle stops, they did not offer free shuttle which I think they should. I highly recommend this place and will travel back with my other family members in the future. 我和我86岁的妈妈旅行到黄山附近， 住的第一家旅店就是悦榕庄。不得不说，印象深刻。整个山庄外观是徽州传统建筑+现代设计，高挑壮观。Villa的庭院设计轻松惬意，完全融入周围的自然景观。室内非常干净，西式的床和卫生间舒适温馨，很容易消除旅途的疲倦。装饰很典雅，是传统中国书画兼有现代的元素，赏心悦目。 我们天刚黑时到达， 很快感受到温暖贴心的服务。前台给我们免费升级房间， 让我们渡过了愉悦的两天。 早上在庭院里跑步是个美好的体验， 健身房也比一般希尔顿或是万豪好很多。 我们第一晚在饭店的中餐厅吃的，不错但没有特别让人印象深刻。早餐则不同， 选择非常多且很多精致可口的饭菜。 尽管他们离宏村很近但不提供免费接送，这样你从机场或是高铁站坐接送车到此，还需要打车或是付比打车高很多的车费到达悦榕庄。我个人认为这完全可以改进。 我非常推荐黄山悦榕庄，以后还会带其他家人来住。谢谢你们周到的服务！

I booked this homestay because I am a huge fan of huizhou style architecture and surely the place didn't disappoint me. The design of the homestay rooms gives one that feeling of antiquity. Takes you back to the Ming Dynasty if you are a Chinese history buff. Also,there is a nicely designed small restaurant at the location. The food was great. Additionally,I enjoyed my overall stay because the owner was very hospitable. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves idyllic antique designs.

The environment of this hotel is very elegant, quiet and comfortable, suitable for getting away from the hustle and bustle. The service attitude is very good, warm and thoughtful, and the boss specially picked us up. After storing the luggage and going out for a walk, the boss also specially sent it to the door for us. It really makes people feel at home. The sanitation is also very good, the room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. Overall, it is a pleasant stay experience.

After arriving at the store, I realized that my anxiety and worries were unnecessary. Although the room is not particularly large, the overall design is simple, bright and warm.
