GGuest UserHad a fantastic stay! The hotel is spacious and grand, and the location is super convenient. There are lots of great food options nearby, plus a street with many pubs, which was really pleasant. Most importantly, the front desk service was incredibly warm and friendly! Their service attitude was excellent and they were very service-minded. Seriously, a huge thumbs up! It was a great experience for a business trip. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Chongqing!

SStefan C PadI stayed at this hotel for 20 days and had a consistently comfortable and smooth experience, making it ideal for both long stays and repeat visits. The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. Even with a language barrier, communication was easy through translation tools and messaging apps and we had a bit of fun. I also appreciated the complimentary room upgrade, which showed genuine care for guest comfort. I had the chance to see both the original room and the upgraded one, and both were well designed, modern, and highly practical. The room layout and smart features are clearly intended to improve everyday comfort. Everything is easy to use — from curtains and lighting controlled from the bed to USB-C and USB charging ports, as well as a self-heating toilet seat with automatic flushing, high quality hair dryer. The hotel also has a terrace on the 36th floor with a beautiful view, which is a great place to relax. On the same floor, there are washing and drying facilities, making it very convenient for long stays and allowing you to travel light. The view of the Jiangbeizui area is impressive during both the day and night, while the surroundings remain quiet in the evening, ensuring good rest. The mattress was excellent for sleeping — not too soft and not too firm — providing great support and high sleep quality throughout my stay. The robot delivery service is efficient and can deliver food or requested items from the reception/lobby directly to your room when you orders things via WeChat or ** (food delivery app) which adds to the hotel’s modern and convenient experience. The location is a strong advantage, with many key places reachable within 5–15 minutes by DiDi taxi, making transportation quick and easy. Overall, this hotel offers an excellent balance of comfort, smart design, quiet surroundings, and reliable service. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would happily choose to stay here again — and even longer, if given the opportunity. The only small issue I had was with the air-conditioning configuration. I wasn’t able to set it to a lower temperature that I personally prefer (around 17°C). However, this wasn’t a real problem — the hotel kindly offered a fan, which I declined, and simply keeping the window open was enough since it was cool outside.

GGuest UserRegent Chongqing deserves a perfect score! It truly lives up to its reputation as the pinnacle of luxury in this mountain city. From check-in to check-out, every single detail exuded elegance and thoughtfulness, completely redefining my high-end hotel experience✨. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the bellboy immediately took my luggage – I didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. The front desk staff were efficient and incredibly kind during check-in, even offering thoughtful recommendations for local authentic eateries, saving me the hassle of planning. The room was super spacious with breathtaking river views; the dazzling lights of Hongyadong at night were simply stunning. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, providing instant relaxation. All drinks in the minibar were complimentary and restocked daily. The Chongqing-specific snacks and custom bottled water were a lovely touch. High-end amenities like a Dyson hairdryer and daily face masks really elevated the sense of refinement. The dining experience at the hotel was also exceptional. Breakfast offered a vast array of choices, with authentic Chongqing noodles made to order and tasting truly original. Serving until 10:30 AM was a blessing for those of us who struggle to wake up early. The Chinese restaurant's dishes were exquisite and delicious. The chef even meticulously explained the ingredients and cooking methods – every bite was a delight. The executive lounge service was also incredibly attentive, always ready to assist, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. All staff members I encountered were exceptionally professional, whether at the front desk, house-keeping, or in the restaurant. Communication was prompt and patient, and any requests were quickly addressed. That feeling of being completely looked after, truly made me feel at home. This stay was absolutely perfect. I couldn't find a single fault, from the hardware facilities to the soft services. Because of this hotel, I've grown to love Chongqing even more! Next time I visit Chongqing, I will definitely choose Regent again. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a high-quality experience!👍

DDr. OscarLongmen Pu Village: A Serene Escape into Chongqing's Mountain Charm As an avid traveler, I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Longmen Pu Village, a remarkable resort nestled in the heart of Chongqing's stunning mountain landscape. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the seamless blend of modern comforts and the region's rich, traditional charm. The resort's accommodations are a true delight – beautifully designed rooms that effortlessly combine sleek, contemporary aesthetics with the warmth and character of the local countryside. The attention to detail is truly impressive, creating a sense of tranquility and authenticity that is all too rare in today's hospitality landscape. One of the standout features of my stay was the opportunity to explore the entire village on my last night. Navigating the winding paths felt like stepping into an adventure game, with new discoveries at every turn. The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting. The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me. The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever. Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure. While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort. In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an immersive cultural experience, this resort delivers an unforgettable journey that I wholeheartedly recommend.

GGuest UserI specifically chose to stay at the fashionable yet vintage Jixiang Ren'aitang Hotel this time, having heard great things about it. The hotel is nestled in the bustling Shan City Lane, offering a tranquil escape amidst the crowds. It's built on the former site of the Ren'aitang, cleverly blending French historical architecture with the unique topography of the mountain city. The interior design, from the public lobby and restaurant to the room decor, incorporates numerous Scandinavian design elements, creating a very stylish ambiance that perfectly matches my aesthetic. The staff were consistently and appropriately enthusiastic, offering to help with luggage while patiently introducing the building's history and the surrounding area. Complimentary snacks and drinks were available in the lounge area, and thoughtful touches like turn-down service with a sweet soup in the evening were much appreciated. The complimentary travel photography service provided by the hotel was also very professional; it was wonderful to capture beautiful commemorative photos in such a retro and elegant setting – definitely a must-try. All in all, it was a delightful urban getaway, truly memorable, and I hope to have the chance to visit again.

AAman junkieMy first trip of 2026 was to the mountain city of Chongqing, and my first hotel choice was the #ihg InterContinental Hotel, located in the Raffles City complex at Chaotianmen Plaza. The hotel's location is truly exceptional, with direct elevator access to Raffles City shopping mall and Chaotianmen Station on Metro Line 1. It's also just a 15-minute walk to #Hongyadong. I booked an Executive River View room this time, located on the 57th floor, offering expansive views of both the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers, with Chaotianmen Plaza directly below. The interior decor is primarily minimalist, lacking a separate walk-in closet. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation, and the Swedish fragrance brand BYREDO Blanche toiletries were a pleasant touch. This room included executive lounge access, with a complimentary, decent mini-bar – the Tianfu Cola was particularly memorable. The executive lounge offers breakfast, afternoon tea, and a light dinner. While it's a step down from the five meals a day at the Ritz last year, the quality remains good. Both breakfast and dinner are semi-buffet with à la carte options; the presentation is exquisite and the taste is definitely up to par. Most local Chongqing specialties, besides hotpot, are covered. The overall service at the hotel aligns with its positioning; they proactively inquired about guest needs and responded promptly to requests. In summary, it truly lives up to its reputation as one of Chongqing's top-tier hotels.

ZzzqzgyThis hotel offers an excellent spot for taking stunning night photos of the Qianximen Bridge. Its location is superb; just across the road, you'll find the 11th floor of Hongyadong, and it's also very close to Jiefangbei. The hotel's service and environment are fantastic.

GGuest UserThe room was pretty good. You can get to Hongyadong by turning right on the first floor. From the 22nd floor, you can reach the railway and Jiefangbei. From the 22nd floor, you can also go to Hongyadong directly, making the location incredibly convenient. The river view is also fantastic, and they offer complimentary sweet soup in the evenings. You can also do your laundry for free. The front desk service was excellent, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It was a great stay, and I'll definitely be back next time!

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Jiefangbei, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. Taxis to nearby attractions are super quick, and you can even walk to Hongyadong. This location was an excellent choice for my trip to Chongqing with friends. There are tons of great food and drink options right downstairs. And the breakfast noodles (Wanza Mian) at the hotel were absolutely delicious – I had them three days in a row! As for welcome drinks, they offered a complimentary goodnight cocktail at the 29th-floor restaurant, along with red bean soup. After a long day of exploring, it was really nice to sit up there, chat, and take in the revolving panoramic views.
