MM345323****After looking at many hotels, I chose this one. It's close to the subway, the room is very clean, and the hotel is a standalone building so you don't have to navigate through twists and turns to get to it. The front desk staff and the cleaning auntie were both very polite and friendly. This will be my top choice next time I visit Chongqing!

GGuest UserFor my three-day, two-night trip to Chongqing, I chose to stay at the Regent Chongqing, and it turned out to be absolutely amazing!
The moment I stepped into the Regent Chongqing, I was captivated by its design, which seamlessly blends Eastern aesthetics with modern luxury. In the lobby, the massive golden 'money tree' installation was particularly striking during the ***** New Year, with golden ingots piled beneath it and lion dance heads on either side, cleverly combining traditional festive charm with the hotel's high-end positioning.
During my stay in the room, what impressed me most was the omnipresent attention to detail. From the moment we checked in and they proactively delivered our luggage to the room, to the complimentary lattes and snacks in the lobby bar; from the entirely free minibar drinks and snacks in the room, to the 24-hour bubble bath service – everything made us feel incredibly comfortable and completely relaxed.
Furthermore, I must genuinely commend Regent's Choice (丽晶轩). The restaurant's ambiance was excellent, with soft lighting perfect for photos, and the food quality was exceptionally high. They even provided three complimentary specialty appetizers before our meal.
If I visit Chongqing again, I will definitely choose the Regent Chongqing again ❤️

GGuest UserThe environment is clean, tidy and beautiful, with a view at every step. It is a very distinctive homestay that is carefully built. The housekeeper has a good service attitude. He contacted me in advance before I checked in, and all the requests were met wholeheartedly. It was a great stay experience. Each room type has its own characteristics. I will try another room type if I have the chance.

SStefan C PadI stayed at this hotel for 20 days and had a consistently comfortable and smooth experience, making it ideal for both long stays and repeat visits.
The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. Even with a language barrier, communication was easy through translation tools and messaging apps and we had a bit of fun. I also appreciated the complimentary room upgrade, which showed genuine care for guest comfort.
I had the chance to see both the original room and the upgraded one, and both were well designed, modern, and highly practical. The room layout and smart features are clearly intended to improve everyday comfort. Everything is easy to use — from curtains and lighting controlled from the bed to USB-C and USB charging ports, as well as a self-heating toilet seat with automatic flushing, high quality hair dryer.
The hotel also has a terrace on the 36th floor with a beautiful view, which is a great place to relax. On the same floor, there are washing and drying facilities, making it very convenient for long stays and allowing you to travel light.
The view of the Jiangbeizui area is impressive during both the day and night, while the surroundings remain quiet in the evening, ensuring good rest. The mattress was excellent for sleeping — not too soft and not too firm — providing great support and high sleep quality throughout my stay.
The robot delivery service is efficient and can deliver food or requested items from the reception/lobby directly to your room when you orders things via WeChat or ** (food delivery app) which adds to the hotel’s modern and convenient experience.
The location is a strong advantage, with many key places reachable within 5–15 minutes by DiDi taxi, making transportation quick and easy.
Overall, this hotel offers an excellent balance of comfort, smart design, quiet surroundings, and reliable service. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would happily choose to stay here again — and even longer, if given the opportunity.
The only small issue I had was with the air-conditioning configuration. I wasn’t able to set it to a lower temperature that I personally prefer (around 17°C). However, this wasn’t a real problem — the hotel kindly offered a fan, which I declined, and simply keeping the window open was enough since it was cool outside.

Ss.oya_Everything was good. It's not that hard to find as people write. The location is amazing, everything is pretty close, but when you come back you don't struggle with the crowd. The room was clean with a nice city view. It had a shampoo and shower gel in the shower, free sleepers in the room.
The hostel has a laundry that costs 8 RMB.
The host was extremely friendly and ready to help with everything. Even helped me to find a location from the photo. She doesn't speak English so every conversation was through the translator. But it was comfortable

CChehanOn the 6th day of our 5-day Chinese New Year road trip from Xi'an to Yunnan, we stayed at the InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City on our way back. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of Chaotianmen, offering breathtaking views of the two rivers converging. The lobby, situated on the 42nd floor in the Crystal Link Bridge, is spacious and adorned with lush greenery, exuding vitality. The guest rooms feature a minimalist and stylish design, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing stunning river or city views, and the bathrooms are generously sized. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the Sky Garden restaurant and bar offer a unique ambiance, perfect for a relaxing break. Overall, my family had a wonderful experience, and it's definitely worth recommending as a must-visit spot!

MM273164****During my trip to Chongqing, I stayed at both Ji Xia Shan and Ji Xiang, and I definitely preferred Ji Xiang.
**Pros:**
- The hotel is genuinely new, and both the common areas and the rooms are well-maintained.
- The rooms are really spacious. We stayed in a 'Li Xiang King Room,' and upon entering, it's divided into a bathing area and a bedroom. The bathroom vanity is large, facing a big glass window, and it has a truly functional large makeup mirror (though it wasn't fully charged upon check-in). The lighting is exceptional, which was one of the reasons I chose this room.
- The design of the public areas and the breakfast restaurant is exquisite and elegant, making you want to linger.
- The afternoon tea cakes are genuinely delicious and well-made. The collaborative travel photography produced very professional results, and our butler, Shuyou, was very responsive.
**Cons:**
- After getting dropped off by a taxi, you need to walk down some steps and a slope to reach the lobby. Families with young children should be aware of this.
- Both the Wi-Fi and cell signal in the room were surprisingly poor.
- The showerhead in the bathroom was the only real flaw in the room's amenities; it swivels inwards towards the wall, making it impossible to use properly.

GGuest UserYuliya provided excellent service – she was so warm and thoughtful. I really liked the room; its decor was very stylish and minimalist, and the bedding was super comfortable. They even offered a welcome drink upon check-in and a complimentary sweet soup at night, which was a nice touch. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

MM2gp9rf4n****I have to say, the cleanliness at this hotel is absolutely outstanding. Every corner of the room was spotless; I didn't find a single speck of dust or any clutter. The furniture surfaces were polished to a shine, and even under the sofa was thoroughly cleaned. The bathroom wasn't just clean, but also stocked with high-quality toiletries, and the towels were soft and fluffy, making for a very comfortable experience. Overall, it gave a refreshing and tidy impression~~~

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.
