The hotel is right inside the ancient city, so ride-hailing cars can't get in. You can contact the front desk in advance to have them arrange an electric shuttle from the ancient city to pick you up. The hotel seems to be quite large, and the location is excellent. The snack street is just a few steps away, making it very convenient to watch glove puppetry and enjoy the night scenery in the evening. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, helping with luggage and answering all our questions. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting Zhangzhou Ancient City. Now for a few negatives. Since we arrived early, we were assigned a courtyard with a terrible view; the opposite side was quite dilapidated and really spoiled the scenery. Also, there was no introduction to the room facilities when we checked in, so we had to figure everything out ourselves. It would be great if they could send an explanation via WeChat. Additionally, it gets quite cold at night in winter, and there's no heating. Luckily, the duvet was thick enough. Overall, it was a good experience, with the positives outweighing the negatives, especially the excellent service attitude. P.S. The hotel has a rooftop terrace you can access, which is an amazing spot for photos. They didn't mention it when I stayed, but I found it myself.

Hotel was new, clean and service was good. The room is good-sized, and considered large for single occupancy. Check-in and out were quite seamless. There are not many restaurants around the hotel, so one may need to travel out to dine, or choose one of those around there. Highly Recommended!

Hotel may be a bit dated, but location was superb and excellent! Right in the midst of Zhongshan Road, surrounded by eateries and shopping. Staff was efficient, and the best surprise was that they allowed us a late checkout at 2pm because our flight was at 5.30pm. Truly appreciative of this gesture. Breakast is simple. But there are lots of affordable and nice food in the vicinity, so not an issue.

I specifically booked this type of room when traveling with my parents. Everything was pretty satisfactory, except for the slightly poor soundproofing. It had a fridge and a washing machine. The microwave was apparently disabled by the building management. Both rooms offered great sea and city views. Any issues we had during our stay were resolved very promptly, and they asked us daily if we needed housekeeping, which was excellent service. Oh, by the way, there was no drying rack in the room, so I put one together myself using some tools, and it worked great, haha. We visited Nanputuo Temple and Gulangyu Island over two days. We didn't use the complimentary travel photoshoot from the hotel, but we'll definitely come back next time we have a chance.

This is my 'N'th stay at this hotel, and every time it feels just like coming home – so comfortable! They're always ready to help during your stay. The lobby is beautiful and chic, the rooms are clean, and the facilities are complete. The bedding is soft, and the toiletries are all premium brands; every detail is well thought out. Whether it's for a business trip or a vacation, this is always my top choice. It's truly a godsend for business travelers. Highly recommend!

Experience with Macro Polo (JinJiang) hotel is pleasant. Room is clean and well maintained. Location is a little away from city area about 20mins car journey (depends on traffic).

This hotel experience was fantastic! The location is super convenient, close to the subway and shopping areas, making getting around and shopping a breeze. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, the bedding was soft and made for a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the value for money was excellent. I'll definitely be back! Book this hotel with your eyes closed, you won't regret it! The cleaning was incredibly thorough, the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and hot water was instant. The facilities were complete and new, WiFi was fast, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Perfect for both business trips and vacations. The location is superb, within walking distance of where I needed to be for work. The room had a large desk and plenty of outlets, and the high-speed internet made working stress-free. The comfortable bedding really helped relieve my fatigue. Staying here with kids was incredibly easy! The room space was ample, and the safety details were well thought out. Some room types even have children's facilities. The staff were very patient with the little ones, and the surrounding amenities made going out with the kids a breeze.

Facilities: This is a 10-year-old brand, and the facilities and equipment are very well maintained. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy. The hotel has its own laundry room, so we felt very comfortable using the bedding and towels. Environment: The hotel's outdoor garden in winter is bathed in sunshine, making it very pleasant for an afternoon tea. Service: The staff were warm and helpful. Special thanks to Bill for upgrading us to a garden view room. The hotel staff's attitude was excellent. This is definitely one of the top hotel choices in Fuzhou. We were lucky enough to catch the hotel's Christmas tree lighting ceremony during our stay, which added greatly to the festive atmosphere.

Good spread of breakfast except the coffee fromthe coffee machine were very cold. The staff were very helpful to warm it for us . All the staff were very helpful, especially Demi, David, Sandy n Fanny.

Location: Inside the ancient city. After taking a taxi to the east entrance of the ancient city, a shuttle bus picked us up within minutes, which was very convenient. Actually, it's not far to walk, but it saved us the hassle of dragging luggage. Ambiance: The hotel doesn't include breakfast, but there are many snack options nearby. The hotel also has a terrace. Cleanliness: The room was clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure. Facilities: The facilities are new, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. There's a smart Tmall Genie that helps open/close curtains and turn lights on/off. Service: They offered complimentary簪花 (hairpin flowers) and麻糍 (mochi-like snacks), and even a souvenir when checking out. They proactively suggested sightseeing routes and local snacks. One night, before going to bed, we discovered the terrace door couldn't close properly. The lovely front desk staff actively offered to move us to a quiet room with an inner window for the night. The next morning, we moved back to our original room with the terrace view. This saved us the trouble of repacking and moving our luggage – very thoughtful. They truly put their heart into what they do. I highly recommend staying here, and I wish the owner a prosperous business. I hope they can be more diligent in checking room facilities and repairing them promptly to provide an even better customer experience.
