Dorsett is a good chain hotel that I’ve stayed at before many times in Hong Kong, but I have to say this is probably my least favourite of the several locations they have. The hotel does offer good facilities and good sized rooms with comfortable bedding, bathroom. The hotel also has a gym, and restaurant. However, the location isn’t too good and despite saying it’s only a few hundred meters away from two metro stations it’s quite a long and inconvenient walk from either. In addition, one side of the hotel overlooks a huge cemetery and grave yard - so if you are particular about this kinda of thing it would be an issue and it would be your entire view so something you can’t avoid. This isn’t mentioned anywhere else from what I can find. The only way you can avoid this is to pay to upgrade to a premium room (I feel this is a little unfair way of marketing). Staff are generally friendly however I did find one of the concierge a little rude and abrupt.

First time staying here since the renovation, and my first time on a lower floor, which was a bit disappointing. The room was incredibly small; it was my first time in a Club Smart room, and maybe this room type isn't suitable. The breakfast wasn't very good either. The location, however, is excellent, only about a 20-minute walk from the TIDES performance venue in Whampoa. If it didn't include breakfast, it would be fine, but with breakfast, the value for money immediately drops by 20%.

The hotel is located close to the bay with a nice environment. However, there are hardly any dining options nearby, and the restaurant downstairs is expensive and serves bad food. Since there are no other places to eat around, I wouldn't recommend it. While the bay view is a plus, the surrounding area is simply inconvenient. I heard it's a hotel for expectant mothers. This stay was a failure, and I won't be returning. The room facilities are also basic, but at least it's spacious. Given the price, I can't give it too harsh a review. In short, I don't recommend it unless you're looking for extreme quiet. The surrounding area is really inconvenient, and getting to the hotel itself isn't easy.

Hello everyone, what can I say about this hotel? It's clean and cozy, and the room was spacious. We booked a standard room and got upgraded to a suite! The breakfast isn't a buffet; it's à la carte, but it's enough to fill you up. The location is on a hill near Victoria Peak, within walking distance, and there are many bus routes around. There's also a supermarket nearby. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay here.

We stayed here for a staycation when the hotel first opened during the pandemic and had a great experience. Returning after a few years, however, was quite disappointing. First, the cleanliness fell short of standards. As soon as we entered the room, we found long hairs left behind by the previous guest on the sofa, along with a lot of white crumbs in the sofa crevices. When I went to the pool, I found that the clean towels in the locker room smelled awful. I was going to use one to dry my hair, but as soon as it touched my hair, the smell made me want to vomit. Second, the breakfast options were extremely limited. The waffle toppings didn't even include chocolate sauce, the yogurt only came in pineapple flavor, and the other hot Chinese and Asian dishes were very monotonous. It is severely overpriced (over 400 per adult and over 200 per child). The view is still great and the staff are friendly, but the hotel management and pricing simply don't match up.

This was my first time in Hong Kong for a concert, so I chose the hotel my good friend always stays at, and it was truly excellent! The location is superb, just a seven to eight-minute walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. The street views around the hotel also have a great vibe, and you can see the Victoria Harbour seascape just a short walk from the hotel, which is super photogenic – perfect for friends on a short trip. After the concert, our route back from Kai Tak was also very smooth. Plus, the hotel environment was very clean, and the staff's service attitude was excellent! Highly recommended!!!

Although the room size is a bit small, it's generally clean and comfortable, with a great view. You can enter the hotel directly from the main stadium direction, and nearby there's a shopping mall with a wide array of shops and food, making it very convenient. The transportation is also quite accessible.

Pinnacle of Dining The hotel boasts 8 Michelin stars, with Lung King Heen (3-Michelin-starred Cantonese) and Caprice (3-Michelin-starred French) located within the hotel. I chose the Regala SkyCity Hotel for its proximity during a layover in Hong Kong. Since I arrived late at night, I initially thought the shuttles had stopped running and planned to walk. However, after walking out of the airport, I found there was no pedestrian walkway and had to turn back. Luckily, I managed to catch the last shuttle bus. A heads-up for anyone planning to walk: make sure you navigate your way through the inside of the airport! That said, the shuttle is very convenient—only a five-minute ride. The front desk staff were very friendly. However, perhaps due to the sheer number of rooms, the cleanliness was quite disappointing. There was stray hair left uncleaned in both the bathroom and the toilet, and water stains were all over the faucet. Since I had to head back to the airport early the next morning, I didn't bother making a fuss about it.

A truly satisfying two-night stay! The service here is excellent, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping team – everyone was helpful, answering questions and offering suggestions with a wonderful attitude. What particularly stood out was the cleanliness of the room; it was tidied both morning and evening. The staff's words were also very warm and thoughtful, wishing us a comfortable stay and a fun time!
