If you're here for an exhibition, this hotel and the Regal are definite choices. However, during exhibition periods, the value for money isn't great. For over a thousand yuan, the rooms are just so-so. As for the service, it's like Hong Kong overall – some staff are enthusiastic, others are a bit sloppy. The aunties in the restaurant are very friendly, but the young people at the front desk seemed a bit cold, though they did provide basic service. Maybe I shouldn't expect too much to begin with?

In a word: dated. While the hotel claims to have been renovated in 2019, the reality suggests otherwise. From the moment you step into the corridor, it feels like a time capsule from the 1990s - a feeling that is only confirmed once you enter the room.
The room showed significant signs of neglect: peeling wallpaper, a deteriorating bathroom ceiling, a stained bathtub, and heavily worn furniture. To make matters worse, there was a persistent ”old” odor throughout the space. The only saving grace is the location, which is likely why most people choose this property. However, location alone doesn't justify the lack of maintenance.

This hotel's location is superb! Coming from Zhuhai, after crossing the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, you can take the A11 bus directly to the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. I booked a sea-view room, and the view was absolutely stunning, offering direct sight of Central and the Victoria Harbour Ferris Wheel. The scenery was breathtaking, creating a truly romantic ambiance.
The hotel also thoughtfully provides free mainland converter plugs. The room itself doesn't come with drinking water, but if you ask the front desk, you can get a large bottle of glass-bottled water. The staff are very friendly, and check-out is super easy – no need to queue; you just drop your room card into the self-service check-out box. It's a lightning-fast check-out process, saving time and hassle. With its excellent location and a perfect experience, I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong!

A truly healing retreat for a bestie foodie trip! North Point is a quiet escape amidst the hustle and bustle, with MTR and tram stops right outside, making it super easy to get to Causeway Bay and all the Instagrammable spots. Our harbor view room had floor-to-ceiling windows and a scenic sofa, offering direct views of Victoria Harbour – shimmering waters by day, dazzling lights by night. Every photo we took turned out amazing, capturing the perfect vibe.
Great food paired with stunning views – our pictures turned out fantastic! The hotel itself has several great spots for photos, perfect for chilling with your bestie and catching up. Exploring the local eateries and soaking in the street life, then returning to the hotel to relax and watch the harbor view – it truly made our trip incredibly happy. Absolutely the top choice for a girls' getaway!

Pros: The hotel is super conveniently located right across from the MTR station. You can even access it directly from the mall after exiting the subway, thanks to clear signs. Hung Hom Station makes it easy to get anywhere, with most attractions just one or two subway stops away. Plus, dining and shopping in the mall are incredibly convenient.
Cons: Most hotels in Hong Kong seem to have decor from over a decade ago. Finding a new, spacious hotel is practically impossible. The room had a faint, old, slightly damp smell, and the cleanliness wasn't meticulous. I extended my stay for a day and asked for the bathroom hair to be cleaned, but it wasn't thoroughly removed.
Summary: For the price, the room size is relatively large, and the location is genuinely convenient. The cleanliness is acceptable overall. All in all, it offers good value for money and is worth booking.

First off, the hotel service was excellent. As soon as I walked in, an attendant helped me with my luggage. Check-in was super fast, and they didn't even require a deposit. The room was clean and odor-free, with complimentary welcome fruit and a full set of toiletries including toothbrushes and shower gel. The hotel's location is fantastic – close to the MTR, and just a five-minute walk to the Avenue of Stars, making it really convenient to see the Victoria Harbour night view. I'll definitely stay here again next time; the experience was wonderful.

The location is very convenient, and the room was clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a sea-view room (kind of, haha!). What's truly worth praising is the service! The gentleman who helped with luggage storage was incredibly thoughtful, and an auntie even brought water to our room after we checked in. After checking in, I realized I'd forgotten my universal adapter. I quickly went to the front desk to ask where I could buy one, and the front desk staff member immediately lent me one from a drawer for emergencies (it was quite urgent as my laptop was out of battery and I had a meeting soon 🥹). A big thank you!

I chose this place based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The hygiene was good, and the room was quite spacious. You can borrow adapters at the front desk, and the staff there were all very nice! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. (I was staying alone so I pushed the beds together haha)

This hotel is decent. Even though it opened in 2009, the facilities are still in good condition and don't feel old. The room size is ample; there's enough space for two people and two suitcases without feeling cramped. The bed is a bit on the small side; it's fine for someone around 160cm tall, but taller people might find it too short.
**Location:** It's close to the Kai Tak venue, about a ten-minute walk, which is super convenient for concerts as you don't have to deal with crowded subways. Sung Wong Toi MTR station is also about a ten-minute walk, and there's a bus stop downstairs.
**Hygiene:** Good, the sink in my room wasn't tiny this time.
**Power:** You'll need a universal adapter. There's only one outlet at the desk, but there are more behind the bedside table – you just have to move the table a bit to access them.
**Food & Drink:** There's a dim sum restaurant downstairs, and several local 'cha chaan tengs' (Hong Kong-style cafes) nearby. The food at all of them is good, no duds. Just be aware that some only accept cash or WeChat/Alipay, but not Octopus card.
The hotel also offers a shuttle service to Tsim Sha Tsui East and West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for future concerts.
**P.S.:** The hotel doesn't provide free bottled water. The 370ml bottles they sell for HKD 5 are not worth it. You can buy larger bottles of Vita distilled water for HKD 2 at nearby pharmacies or local convenience stores.

Pros: Great location, convenient for getting around, especially for walking to the Hong Kong Coliseum. The staff were friendly. To my surprise, there were complimentary disposable toiletries in the bathroom (all previous Hong Kong hotels I've stayed in charged for these). The room facilities were complete, and the room was larger than I expected.
Cons: Unfortunately, the decor is quite dated. The bathroom had a slight odor, and the soundproofing wasn't great.
Overall, the comprehensive experience definitely exceeded the platform's rating.

Bbb1979_2006I booked two adjoining double rooms. Though small, they had everything needed, and the hotel felt quite new and comfortable inside. It's located next to a highway, so there was some noise (rooms facing the small road on the opposite side would probably be quieter). I'd say the air conditioning unit was even louder. For breakfast, they offered one pastry and unlimited coffee refills. There was no bottled water in the room, and toiletries and slippers were not provided. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station. The value for money is much better than some of the older hotels.

GGuest UserMy stay here was excellent! The hotel is easy to find and super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby until morning. Both the front desk and room service staff were incredibly warm and patient, and they were quick to respond to any requests. The facilities are comprehensive, and it offers fantastic value for money. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel, I highly recommend it!
LlamlllThe hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, offering a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of areas near MTR stations. However, it's about a 20-minute walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, or a 6-7 minute taxi ride (around HKD 20-35). We were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing Central, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had a complete panoramic view of the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the US Consulate, the Peak Tram Terminus, Government House, and even the distant Bank of China Tower, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and IFC.
The staff were all very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even helped bring up our food deliveries to the room. The room cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing, however, was average; we could hear louder noises from upstairs and next door. In the mornings, we could also hear the birds chirping from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens below. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but there was a kitchen available for cooking.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something a bit more unique. Compared to 5-star and 4-star hotels near MTR stations, this place offers a really good stay.
GGuest UserHotel was in a fantastic location, right next to the Happy Valley Racecourse. I was unaware though that half the hotel (typically the cheapest rooms) overlooked a huge cemetery, which was very eery..! The hotel was able to change rooms for me to a ”Course View” room, but I had to pay an extra fee.
Hotel facilities were okay and room was comfy. Some of the furniture is slightly outdated and the walls are quite thin. I did really like the huge wardrobe/storage available in the room. When issues did arise (e.g. aircon not working), it was fixed immediately.
The wifi never worked for me, only in the hotel lobby, so would recommend getting a HK Sim Card to get internet.
Regarding transport links, these were great: the hotel is a short walk away from a Tram stop (1 minute) which gets you into Central very easily; and Taxis (use uber) are easy to hail. There is also a hotel shuttle bus on offer too.
GGuest UserThe environment and scenery are impeccable, truly comfortable, and far superior to the older hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui. The MTR is also very convenient. I'll choose this place every time I visit Hong Kong from now on. However, the attitude of the front desk staff during check-out meant I could only give four stars at most. Those four stars are for the excellent service during our stay. The one star deducted is because when we were queuing to check out, another lady cut in line at the registration desk! Yet the staff member said they didn't notice who was first and that we should have queued up properly! That's outrageous! I didn't pursue a complaint because I was so satisfied with the accommodation and didn't want to spoil my trip.

Very Good
TTsuribiExcellent Horizon club staff. All thanks to Leo, Reine, David, Gordon, and Cloe. Always welcoming us with a wide smile. Thanks to Chef Hardy Hui, we gained weight hahaha. Last day of CNY my parents needed vegan breakfast and he delivered in style. 5 star! Great variety of food, execllent service and ambience at the Horizon club is fabulous. We have to come back again.
Cafe TOO, your breakfast was outstanding. Your dinner buffet is out of those world. My mum eat very little yet she was chomping it down. Very fresh ingredients all the way.
Not forgetting the wonderful housekeeping team and special thanks to a lady named Eva. I heard you were responsible for my room. You are instrumental and noticed our preference and acted accordingly. Thank you and sorry we didn't meet in person. Maybe next trip.
We really enjoyed our stay and the Horizon club initiative to respond immediately to whatever it takes to make our stay very comfortable. We thank you!
BBenbodelouyiThis is a great hotel, though getting to the 19th-floor lobby from the third floor was a bit of a trek at first. Hong Kong feels even hillier than Chongqing! Once I got my bearings, I found a shortcut through Ship Street, which put me about 400 meters from Wan Chai MTR station. It's also conveniently close to the bar street that's popular with expats.
DDietmar KOur stay at W Hong Kong was nothing short of outstanding – and that's not only because of the breathtaking Victoria Harbour views, the stylish design, or the convenient location above the Elements shopping mall. The real difference was the exceptional service, especially from Alex, the Welcome Manager.
From the moment we checked in, we felt truly welcome. Despite a fully booked hotel, Alex took plenty of time to explain everything, gave us excellent local recommendations, and made our request for a high-floor harbour-view room happen effortlessly. His warm, professional, yet relaxed attitude perfectly captures the modern luxury that the W brand promises.
The room was immaculate, the famous W Bed was incredibly comfortable, the rooftop pool area was stunning, and the service at the bar was fantastic throughout our stay.
Final verdict: Whether traveling for business or leisure, W Hong Kong comes highly recommended. And if you want something special – we hope Alex will be there to welcome you. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Alex, for an unforgettable experience.
We will definitely be back.
