The location is not too bad, it is within a cluster of many newly built homestays. I chose this place for its zen design style and it is newly opened, and i read in thr review that there was free coffee provided during breakfast. Therefore i was rather dissappointed when i found out that there is no such thing, coffee is chargeable. I was glad that i brought my own drip coffee to supplement the breakfast. Although my room was eligible for 2 breakfasts, i was only provided with 1 set of breakfast and not offered any replacement for the other breakfast set that i did not take. The room size is just nice for 1 person with luggage. Bathroom+toilet was quite large in comparison to the bedroom. My room overlook the opposite facility, the window can be opened to let in fresh air. There is washing machine+dryer on the ground floor. The girls at the lobby was nice to help me manage my laundry. I was glad that i could use the large table at the lobby for my work. It is an irony that there is a non smoking signboard in the room together with an ashtray....

Later I discovered that I was the Nian beast. I came during the Chinese New Year and left after herding the sheep and setting off firecrackers. As soon as the charger was unplugged, it was goodbye again tomorrow. I really miss my childhood. I could just play with a ball all afternoon, or I could Rush to the New Year greeting line, go to the front and ask for sweets. Growing up may be hiding tears in your eyes. The hair dryer is not easy to use: normal use will automatically stop due to overheating, and it can continue to be used after a few minutes of static (explained by the front desk staff of the night shift), that is too unfriendly to the long-haired lady; 3. Poor customer service at night: contact the front desk due to poor hot water, the male staff at the front desk said ”the water has not been hot yet, send someone to see it later”, and the result has not been contacted. Even if the customer complaint cannot be solved, it is not suitable for people to say ”no sound, no image”. Another: The staff in the day shift the next day were normal, warm and thoughtful. This trip to Linyi is actually very satisfied. The attractions are very ”amazing”, the service is very warm, and the ”passers” are also very friendly. Only if you encounter problems in the hotel, you are still tired after a day. It is recommended to improve, don't give Damei Linyi points. But this will not affect my extremely good impression of Shanxi (the second time), Linyi, and will come again! I highly recommend Datong and Linyi, and it is recommended that Linyi choose to rent a car for self-driving.

This hotel was really good! It was in a smaller alley, so not alot of noise, close to the ancient city. In 10 minutes walk you will already have the views of the city walls. It was very easy to reach by bus from the high speed train station (Datongnan). The room was beautiful, bed was super comfy and everything was clean. No cigarette smell either. Staff was really friendly and could speak some English which was pleasant. There is also a coffee and cocktail bar in the lobby, we only tried the coffee, but it was a nice!

The Parkview hotel is a five star hotel with modest price. The location js perfect and convenient. The hotel rooms are extremely well maintained. My room had a direct view of Yingze park and the night scene was spectacular. The hotel’s breakfast buffet features an amazing collection of local delicacies and it was hard not to overeat. The Chinese restaurants serve outstanding dishes. The front desk staff are polite and helpful. Ms Wang Zewei was especially helpful. I would absolutely return time.

Great authentic experience at this hotel in Pingyao. This was a perfect choice and I would definitely come back to same location. You feel as part of ancient time: room decorations and also inner courtyard is wonderful. Breakfast is mainly Chinese style but you can find good options even as a foreigner. They also provide you with a nice business shuttle from the station which is more than welcome.
