Great location, space and cleanliness definitely puts you at ease as it is a hostel (I was in the 14 bedder). I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to be in the centre.  I read the reviews about social events before booking and saw, after experiencing myself, it’s not the hostel’s fault. A lot of the guests are either very quiet/ not interested in socialising beyond their group or their own. I was told to be quiet by an older guest in the kitchen and had to remain quiet…I found it strange but no fault to the hostel.

I recently stayed at Eurostars Palace for 3 nights, and this time we chose the Junior Suite for our stay. The room was very spacious, and having a separate bedroom made such a big difference. It meant I could read a book or watch TV in the living area without disturbing my partner while they rested in the bedroom. I especially loved the wardrobe area, which gave us plenty of space for our large luggage and belongings. We also decided not to include breakfast this time because the hotel’s location is so convenient, there are many great breakfast spots within walking distance. One lovely touch was the complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival, which felt very thoughtful and welcoming. I would also like to give a special thank you to Susana from the City Expert team, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She gave us excellent recommendations on places to visit, where to dine for lunch and dinner, and what to expect in Córdoba at the beginning of May. Well done, Susana — your hospitality really enhanced our trip. Overall, our stay at Eurostars Palace was wonderful and made our Córdoba experience even more memorable. The hotel is perfectly located near the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, and the Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba. We even enjoyed stunning views of the city from our room on the 13th floor. Thank you to the whole team for treating us so warmly and making our stay such a pleasant one.

• Room: Looks fine in photos but in reality, very dated (from the 80s?) - requires some serious modernization and renovation. My original room's aircon was dripping water and had to move to another one... • Common area/ ambience: The reception/ cafe area is like a hostel/dorm, not consistent with the Novotel brand/tier- thought I was in Ibis or something. • Location: Very convenient - next to the shopping centre, close to bus/tram station, about 20-30 min from key attractions in the Archivo de Indias

What a fantastic place - we'll be back! We stayed for one night in a superior room with breathtaking views over the reservoir, it was super-clean and actually inside the castle itself. The bed was incredibly comfortable with aircon in every room, although there was a beautiful cool breeze flowing through the large picture window. We had a salon, with a TV but, oddly, just one armchair, a mezzanine floor with a couch and nothing else at all - also odd and a separate bedroom, I had to ask at reception for another chair to be brought in, as only one of us could sit down to admire the view and have a drink, but that was done immediately, without any fuss or delay. The two staff members were extremely courteous and helpful, really nice guys for whom nothing was too much trouble, the barman was also the waiter at the restaurant, located 30m out of the entrance in another building, but very close. Breakfast was served on-site and was very decent, only hot selection was a very good Spanish omelette (tortilla de patatas) and some pleasant mini cocktail sausages, the rest was fresh hams, bread, butter, toast, spreads & jams, cereals, yoghurts plus a lot of very fresh fruit - with the usual coffee and fresh orange juice,, so very good all-in-all. The downsides: 1. There is little or no Wifi coverage in the room (our one at least), plus almost zero cellphone coverage in the rooms; 2. The parking is down the steep hill that leads up to the castle, so a hard trip with luggage up to the reception. 3. The El Ajibe restaurant, which is part of the Hotel, even though it's just along the lane was extremely average to poor, I couldn't really eat what I ordered as it was burnt and very dry, but there are other places to eat in the village; Other than these inconveniences, I would highly recommend this spectacular hotel, maybe not the restaurant, but the castle itself is beautiful with much of the original features being built into the modern feel of the place, overall, it was an awesome stay and we will be back again, without a doubt!

The location of the hotel was so good. It was very convenient to walk. The rooms were assigned to Room 402, but 1.2 went up to the third floor by a separate elevator located in the innermost lobby and went back to the first floor by steep stairs. I had to go up ㅠㅠ I couldn't communicate smoothly with the lobby staff, so I was a carrier in the lobby and went down half the floor and didn't get upset.. It's only ten steps in the lobby, but please tell me directly. ㅠㅠ I think the guide was insufficient. And it was too cold during my two nights stay.. The temperature difference between the indoor and outdoor kept the water on the windows, and the laughter air was so cold that I couldn't sleep. The bathroom was too cold, so when I went to the bathroom at dawn, I trembled. On the other hand, the water pressure was strong, so the hot water came out well. It wasn't an Alhambra view, but the courtyard outside the room? I went out to the terrace smoking area for a while and could see the cathedral view.

It was okay. The room was quite spacious, and the air conditioning worked well. The 24-hour front desk was a nice touch. The pool was a bit small, and it's a little far from the attractions, but the facilities are all quite new. Breakfast was just average.

Iberostar Waves Málaga Playa

From the moment you walk into the hotel, it feels as though you've entered the Alhambra itself. The architecture of this Iberostar is truly stunning: Arabic-inspired, colorful, with high-quality materials. The reception area is nothing short of majestic, with marble tiles, flowing fountains, wooden ceilings, and other details that leave a lasting impression. I booked a side sea view room for my parents, and they were given probably the best possible one: located on the 5th floor at the far end of the hotel. The view was far beyond “partial”: they could admire the sea, lush gardens, outdoor pool, and all the hotel terraces all at once. As for me, I made two separate bookings for a three-night stay. Since the same room wasn’t available for all nights, I was upgraded to a superior apartment, an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture. We opted for half-board, and the food was outstanding in both quality and variety. From fresh seafood to superfoods like chia seeds, the buffet offered something for every taste. This hotel truly stands out among the 4* properties we've been to across Europe and the world. The outdoor pool is impressively large, with plenty of sunbeds available. The entire property was immaculately clean, and the green spaces were greatly maintained. Parking was hassle-free, with numerous free spots available both in front and along the sides of the hotel. Another plus: water fountains are placed throughout the hotel, allowing guests to enjoy cold water at any time. Just across the street, you'll find a variety of shops, making it easy to pick up anything you need. Lastly, a mention to the entire hotel staff - from reception to restaurant service - who were consistently professional and kind.

This hotel is punching above its weight and winning. The staff are all really friendly and really take pride in making sure your stay goes well. While on holiday I had a problem with my suitcase not wanting to unlock (likely due to being thrown about in the plane). The staff helped me and found a solution to get inside by cutting the tags and smoothing them off to avoid injury. Without which I'd have had no clothes for the trip. While in Spain we had the national power outage which was totally beyond anyone's control. The staff handled this the best they possibly could. Allowing us to gather water from the pool to aid with flushing toilets, which were affected by the power outage. Providing us with candles and matches. As well as the rooms having a torch inside. When the power came back on, they organised a get-together with complimentary drinks and nibbles to thank us for our patience. This was a lovely touch even though this wasn't the hotels fault. The room I stayed in had recently been renovated and I was so impressed by the new design and choices that had been made. The resort was kept clean all the time by the fantastic cleaning team who were always doing something. All members of staff were friendly and were on board with the hotels pledge to reduce its environmental impact. The hotel doesn't have dedicated parking but on street free parking is so easy to find between the hotel and the park that this isn't an issue. The location is minutes away from the seafront and a selection of places to get breakfast and other meals. I've been to this hotel before, but I've seen a real improvement this year in how Sahara Sunset is being ran. I look forward to seeing how they continue to develop.

Nice Hotel bang in centre of Sevilla & staff were friendly. However, we drove here & it was a nightmare locating the hotel ! Streets blocked off due to roadworks everywhere caused chaos for us. We had to park up, walk to hotel & get directions to official parking which is still ten minutes walk from hotel ! The roads were really narrow at points, full Of pedestrians  & it’s not an easy city to navigate by car. I wouldn’t drive there again ! Room was okay but beds like lying on a bench, so hard ! You needed a tech degree to operate TV which had ONE UK channel ? I get it’s Spain but dozens of French, German & even 3 Russian channels ! So many English visitors yet not even a couple of channels ? At night, the room is light due to various lights which don’t switch off? Suspect they’re alarm type lights but two blue lights either side of the bed ? No idea why but so annoying !  The toilet basin was so close to the shower cubicle, I was unable being 6’3 to actually sit on the toilet facing forwards ! Not comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, lovely selection, especially Fruits & pastries. The pool on the roof was tiny  with very few beds but has superb views & is beautiful if you can get a bed ? Also had a lovely bar terrace adjacent to pool but on our final day, they closed this facility completely including refusing to serve drinks on the sun terrace ? This was extremely annoying & imo completely unnecessary as the private event in the bar didn’t take place until the evening which meant guests sunbathing during the day still couldnt get cold beverages ! All in all, a nice hotel in a decent location but expensive for Whats you got. Not the place if you’re driving !

Hilton Garden Inn Sevilla

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Overall, by Hilton or Garden Inn standards, this property falls somewhere in the average to slightly below-average range. However, if judged by a three-star standard, it is generally acceptable. The biggest issue was cleanliness. Upon entering the room on the night of check-in, I was shocked to find that the toilet had clearly not been cleaned, with visible waste left unflushed. This was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable. When I reported it to the front desk, I was told that housekeeping staff were no longer available after 4 p.m., and nothing could be done. This response reflected a clear lack of basic service standards. Service quality overall was fairly mediocre, especially during late check-in. The front desk staff were not particularly welcoming. At one point, when I was about to read a document before signing, I was interrupted and told to listen to the explanation first and sign afterward, which felt dismissive. Additionally, when I requested basic amenities such as a toothbrush, I was told to come down and collect them myself, as no delivery service was available. To be fair, the hotel does have some positives. The facilities are decent and generally meet four-star expectations, including amenities like a swimming pool (although the water was quite cold and not well temperature-controlled). The location is also convenient — while not in the city center, it is easy to reach major areas by taxi. In summary, the hardware and facilities are acceptable, but the cleanliness and service fall short. By Hilton or four-star standards, this hotel underperforms; by three-star standards, it is passable.
