NNarmeen ShahidIt is a good one - however unlike its branch in Egypt, they didnt had shower cap, slippers, bathrub and other stuff in rooms. The staff and their service was really good. The buffet as well wasnt full of vareities as in egypt (no doughnut stand). It was an hour away from sight seeings. Beautiful lounge and bar area

LLilit AdamianIt is truly a fairy-tale hotel — the rooms feel as if they come straight out of a classic English story. Everything is neat, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making the stay very comfortable. The location is excellent, perfect for exploring Oxford on foot. The lobby area is especially beautiful — elegant, cozy, and welcoming, setting the tone from the moment you arrive. Overall, the experience was extremely pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience the true charm and atmosphere of Oxford.

HHengqilaobaStaying in hotels in the UK, especially during summer, it's a real gamble whether you'll get decent air conditioning and a working elevator. On this trip, I've stayed at numerous hotels, various brands – all chosen for their good value for money, naturally! Our first stop, the Kensington Palace Hotel, initially gave us a room with problems, and the following day, our new room lacked air conditioning. Then at the Holiday Inn Cambridge, the lobby felt really impressive, but to my surprise, the AC was broken. The room was stuffy and hot, so we had to escape to the lobby for a beer. Luckily, London nights were quite cool, even getting a bit chilly in the early hours. It wasn't until we arrived at the Cotswolds Hotel & Spa. Although it also lacked AC, it had a balcony. We could just leave the door open, and since UK temperatures aren't actually that high, the room stayed cool, especially with the balcony door open to let in the breeze! And while there wasn't a regular elevator, there was a mobility lift that went up to the second floor. Unfortunately, we were on the third, so we still had to climb. Despite these minor quirks, this hotel was by far our favorite on the trip. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a large bed, a smaller bed, and even a sofa bed. The balcony overlooked a lovely green expanse. Our family spent time on the balcony playing cards, so much so that we almost didn't want to go out sightseeing! I also want to give a big shout-out to Trip.com. Their service was truly exceptional throughout my journey. I lost count of how many times I called them, and without fail, they resolved every single one of my issues. Definitely a huge thumbs up! 👍👍👍

QQianshuidehaitangduoduoThis hotel completely exceeded my expectations and was the best value-for-money hotel I stayed at during my trip to the UK. Although it's not in the city center, it's incredibly convenient – just a 10-minute bus ride on the number 6 from downtown directly to the hotel. It's a large resort, perfect for those traveling by car. The hotel itself is beautiful, allowing us to experience the scenic British countryside while exploring Oxford.

GGuest UserWe have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better. The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets. We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.

GGuest UserAround 30 minutes by car away from Oxford city area via motorway. Offered free parking in front of the hotel. Suitable for who is traveling by cars. Add on 10 pounds for the breakfast. Variety is limited yet good enough to start a day with it.  Room itself is wide and clean, just Marriott standards so need need to worry.

GGuest UserWe have visited Sunbury Hotel a few times now , this time we were disturbed by person or persons at 02.47am and also experienced a lot of noise transmitted from above, both of which were a first for us and certainly surprised us. The cleaning service over the three nights amounted to pulling up the bed covers which is a definite lowering of previous standards. The complimentary bottles of water and snack biscuits were not refreshed at all, and the room itself now has two large areas of damp showing in the corners which should have been attended to and at least kept clean. The hotel was busy during the weekend but the Tuesday am breakfast was attended service rather than the buffet which was great as the food was freshly prepared and served to us. A warning if you have a pet it's £20 per night now and segregation in the bar area for breakfast which is fine except for the walk through with your serving from the restaurant area before it gets cold. The grounds are superb and the outside patio are excellent, plenty of car parking. It would be interesting to see if management comment.
