Everything was good except for the fact that the only reason we booked the hotel was because of the outdoor pool on the top floor, since it’s the only one of its kind in Zagreb. Nowhere did it say that the pool would be closed when we made the booking.
What compensation did we receive? Access to a pool at another hotel. The problem was that those pools were indoors. After several complaints and calls to Trip.com, we received 15% of the booking fee back. In my opinion, that was not sufficient, but it is what it is. Everything else was fine.
We booked a room with a sofa bed for two adults and one child. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, with a sunken center and raised ends. The child's back was good enough to sleep on it, but the adult's was not. The room was quite big, the decoration was neither old nor new, the food in the restaurant was OK, but the service was very good, they would ask questions proactively, so we specially consumed a dinner in the evening, but we waited for 40.50 minutes before it was served. When it was served, we found that the price of the Tomahawk steak was per 100 grams, and ours was 120kg. No wonder the waiter kept saying it was very big. We confirmed it again and again, and the steak alone cost 200 euros. Fortunately, the taste was very good. We couldn't finish it and packed it up to eat it again with instant noodles the next day.

I booked this place on a friend's strong recommendation while preparing for my trip to Zagreb. My friend highly recommended this place, so I had high expectations. Since there was a discount, I was able to book it at a relatively reasonable price, but as expected, it was a 5-star hotel, so the base price was quite high.
First of all, the location was perfect. It was in the city center, so I could easily walk to major tourist attractions, which was very convenient, and I especially liked being able to enjoy the beautiful night view while taking a walk in the evening.
The kindness and service attitude of the hotel staff were very impressive. From check-in to check-out, the front desk staff's meticulous consideration and friendly service made my stay pleasant.
However, the breakfast, which I had been looking forward to the most, was honestly disappointing. My friend said the breakfast was special, so I paid an additional 100,000 won for 2 people (50,000 won per person), but although the menu was varied and fresh, I wondered if it was worth the extra cost.
The interior of the hotel was elegant and old-fashioned, but personally, it felt more old than luxurious. The way the windows in the guest rooms opened was classic and unique, but the old window frames and other parts of the facility stood out. The bathroom also had an old feel rather than a modern facility, which may be appealing depending on your taste, but it was disappointing for me.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location, which is the best for travelers. However, for the same price, you might have a more pleasant experience in a suite at a nearby 4-star hotel. It is worth experiencing once for travelers who value a traditional atmosphere, but I think I will consider other options if I come to Zagreb again next time.
The location is convenient, very close to the bus station, and convenient to the airport. The room is clean and the breakfast is rich. It is the first choice for business trips. The price is moderate. I will come again next time I go on a business trip. The cost performance is relatively high.

The first night we arrived in Croatia, our first stay was smooth and pleasant, but when we went back to stay again a month later, our stay was cancelled. The excuse was that the system was wrong, but it was probably because the hotel was not authentic and oversold. When problems occurred, Ctrip was still very helpful. Responded to the problem in a timely manner and handled it proactively. The female customer service who contacted us was sincere, patient, professional and efficient 👍. The handling result was still satisfactory. In the future, I will be more confident to use Ctrip as the main platform for domestic and foreign travel.
The store is warm and thoughtful, friendly to Chinese people, and willing to help. The breakfast is average, but you can eat enough. There are not many varieties, but it is quite convenient. The transportation is convenient. There is a big supermarket nearby.

The hostel is very clean and conveniently located, yes!
Would I return there? Not sure. This is due to lack of amenities that I have never seen missing from other hostels:
- 1 bathroom per floor, the bathroom is shared between 3 rooms of 4; 12 people at 1 bathroom is a bad idea.
- sockets, sockets, sockets. The beds does not have a socket, there are 2 of them randomly located in the room but other hostels I have been in had bed and own socket which should be standard.
- no curtains for the beds, no privacy
- no light in the bed, like a small lamp that everyone can use if others are sleeping.
Clean hostel but the lack of these amenities is disappointing.

The hotel is a 4 star. A clean hotel, very friendly, pleasant staff… it is a place that I would recommend whenever you want to go through… since the center of Zagreb itself is quite far away.
Very spacious room. That's right... BEWARE! On TRIP it said FREE PARKING… and we had to pay €7 per day… nothing free…
I would recommend it if I would return while passing through Zagreb… breakfast, for example, is included and is very varied and delicious!!!

The newly opened hotel in 2023 has an excellent location. There are pedestrian streets and squares nearby, which is very convenient for sightseeing, eating and shopping. It should be a renovation of an old house. The room is slightly smaller, but the layout and decoration are quite ingenious. Although there are no side windows on the 5th floor, it is very clever to make a skylight. The sunshades inside and outside can be opened by remote control, which gives it the charm of being in a historical building. The comfort of the toilet is No. 1 in the half-month trip to Croatia, although it is not a smart toilet. The lighting design is reasonable, and my friend also planted its coffee machine. There are welcome drinks or dry white at the front desk, and two large bottles of water are sent to the room. Breakfast is buffet and menu.
Swimming pool and sauna are free to use.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton in Zagreb and found the experience to be quite average. While the staff were friendly, the accommodations were disappointing, especially for a hotel rated 5 stars—it had more of a 3-star look and feel.
The lack of windows made the rooms feel stuffy, and the carpet was noticeably dirty. The bathroom was small, the TV was outdated and small, and not all channels worked. The rooms overall felt old and in need of renovation, which was a stark contrast to the beautifully renovated front desk area downstairs. The bright, modern lobby clashed with the dark, outdated corridors and old rooms, leaving much to be desired.
I had hoped for better given the brand's reputation. While the service was good, the overall accommodations did not live up to the rating or expectations.

EEll-AnneClose to the bus station and great staff. We arrived early for check in and they gave us an available room as we were tired from our journey and the hotel wasn’t fully booked. Good breakfast too. We enjoyed our time in Croatia.

GGuest UserThis wonderful hotel is right in the center of old Zagreb. Everything is within walking distance.....restaurants abound, flower market and food markets, shops, the trolley for transportation is close by, and many museums, churches, government buildings, parks and Historic sites. The Hotel Dubrovnik is clean, light rooms, comfy beds, and a sumptuous breakfast! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
LLinaFirst things I like to express my appreciation to Toni at front desk who's very friendly welcoming my first day check in and helping me when I have problem with rental car. He really put his effort making so many calls when the rental car didn't response well, but finally all problem solved. And he sent his regard throe his friend at front desk on my second check in after 7 days traveling to Split and Dubrovnik, his name also Tony and he also very friendly.
Thanks to both of you Toni & Tony ( I hope I didn't wrong spelling your name )
It's highly recommend for all type of traveler, the room is very quite, I can't hear anything from next room or outside, sleep like a baby. I love the spacious shower room and all luxury amenities. If not mistaken I think this is a brand new hotel.
Since i drive a car, for me location is not important, 8 minutes drive to the old town, not too far. I like the neighborhood is so quite.
Breakfast has many menus and tasty too.
Overall is perfect , one thing I don't like is the dimming lights.
If they have a brighter light, I will be so happy.

MManuelGreat place to stay, elegant and well maintained.
I particularly enjoyed the gym and the parking lot attached to the hotel. The daily rate of the parking lot is 15€.
MMehpare hanımThe staff at the reception (late/night layer) is simply unfriendly. Breakfast is good for the price. The house wackles as soon as the tram passes. Hotel is in the middle of the city. Rooms are mega small.
