Hotels With Bars in Pest, Hungary

Check-in time was flexible; we arrived early and were immediately given a room to rest, which was a huge plus for those arriving on early flights. Our standard room was on the 5th floor, a typical hotel room setup with good natural light and plenty of sunshine. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. In contrast, the bathroom had a much more distinctive design. A highlight was the small spa pool on the basement level, which had a unique vibe, wasn't crowded, and was very relaxing. It's complimentary for guests. While the hotel breakfast didn't have a huge selection, everything was relatively tasty, especially the Hungarian baked eggs, which were exactly to my liking. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended! PS: There was a wedding party on the day we checked in, and the music was quite loud at night, but fortunately, we couldn't hear it much from the 5th floor.

The room is incredibly spacious, even larger than suites in many high-end or luxury hotels. The service is excellent, and the breakfast pastries are top-notch. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, highly recommended! 👍

Very chaotic and confusing check-in process. Arrived before check-in and got registered, just needed to get my key at check-in time. So far so good. At check-in time I am directed to an iPad terminal to register with with my name and my booking number from the accommodation, not then one on the booking portal, which I've no clue which it is. After me struggling to look-up this number out of countless CRM-emails I received from the Hostel the friendly staff member, looked up my name in the guest list, went back to the receptionist desk to check my check-in amd got my key card to my room. Arrived in the room it didn't matched with the category and pictures I booked. Went back down to the reception, who fixed it. All this took a lot of time and not to mention all the Welcoming and Info-e-mails you receive from Maverick's at any occasion of the ”customer journey” process. To the management and marketing folks there: Keep your check-in process simple. Your visitors are offered to pre-check-in online or at an iPad terminal in the lobby, just to end up queuing again at the reception to identify yourself again, pay the tourist tax or get their key card. It's nonsense. Have a vending machine spitting out the keycard for those cases. Just keep the regular check-in process as anywhere else directly at the reception with showing your passport etc... Stop these insane amount of email at every step of the customer journey, no-one needs this ot also makes it difficult to find one's relevant booking information. Let's come to the positive part. Staff is friendly and helpful. My room was very nice, clean and comfortable, it was a good deal to. Good internet. The kitchen is great, well equipped and a nice place to connect with people. Free coffee and tea, also a water dispenser in the lobby - great! There are many free activities organized by the hostel, we had a wine tasting for free and it was nice to talk to other guest there. Location is central, where you'll find all you need, even mini marts open 24/7. Free locker before and after check-in.

Booked this for my elderly family members. If you have a car, this hotel is definitely the best choice! It's worth noting that the parking lot downstairs is not the hotel's free parking. We ended up getting a ticket for 9900 Forints.

It’s an ideal location for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while still being easily connected. Service: The receptionist staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I appreciated their attentiveness; they would knock multiple times before entering the room, ensuring guest comfort and privacy. Additionally, the option to store my luggage at the hotel after check-out was a significant advantage, allowing me to explore the city without the burden of my bags. Room Comfort and Amenities: My room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was decent, providing a good night’s sleep. Despite my short one-night stay, I found the accommodations to be more than satisfactory. Dining: The breakfast section offered a variety of options, making it a pleasant way to start the day. I found the selection to be adequate and enjoyable, contributing to a positive overall experience. Conclusion: In summary, if you’re seeking a quiet retreat away from the city’s hectic pace, this hotel in Budapest is a commendable choice. With its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and accessible location, it provides a comfortable base for both short and extended stays. My experience was quite satisfactory, and I would recommend it to others looking for a relaxed stay in Budapest.

This hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing around the Buda Castle.  Locations such as the Fishermen’s Bastion and the Museum and within easy walking distance (although including some stairs).  The Chain Bridge is close, giving easy access to the sights in Pest. The facilities in the hotel are excellent and the breakfast is top range. The service is second to none.  We received top service from the Room’s Division Manager. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it highly.

Each bed in the dorm is equipped with a fan and central air conditioning, making it very cool in the summer. The bathroom is clean and odor-free, and the facilities are well-maintained. The location is also easy to find, with several restaurants downstairs for convenient dining. It's only a few minutes' walk to the airport shuttle bus stop, which is great for catching early morning flights.

I’m waited for the day that hotel opens, we been few times before cake shop dwonsters were we had dessert very delicious. Ok 👍 I’m arrived 2.45 so don’t need it I just decided wait until 15.00 Sitting opposite reception she don’t say even hi 👋 🥲 or how can I help Being honest not friendly start I’m asked mini bar has water ? Yes we have I’m going room there is no still water Calling receptionist there is no water, she said are you sure ? 😂 yes I’m positive I see there no water Can u pls send me ? Yes I’m gonna bring up 20 min later I got still water 21.00 I got hungry so I’m decided to try Italian restaurant dwonsters instead delivery I’m regretting 😕 I’m just ordered carbonara what is terrible and of course I’m agen waited water to restaurant as well 20 min Breakfast simple Butik hotel style Norbert only person who has been helping and asked chefs made omelet for me , no halal option , everything pork , no many options for kids as well All together nice hotel good for staying close to airports hope the working staff get more better attitude Restaurants I’m not recommending 10/6 for me One night is okay but I’m not gonna book back anytime soon 🔜 hope future more improvement comes

The hotel is very close to the airport, and the shuttle bus is super convenient. The staff are warm, friendly, and professional. The hotel decor is unique, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The room was spacious, and there were even flight paths on the carpet! The only downside was that there was only one small bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash, and it was almost empty, making it very hard to squeeze anything out. I hope they can refill or replace it promptly next time.

Stayed in the comfort twin room, the shower and beds are only separated by a thin curtain, there is no opaque door for the shower only a fully transparent shower screen. If you are traveling and staying with friends please take note it may be awkward as you can see the other person taking a shower if you want to walk past the shower area to the toilet. Very bad room design, how can there be no door to the shower!
