The Hilton Quebec boasts an excellent environment, blending natural beauty with cultural charm, and its interior facilities and decor are outstanding. The location is superb, right in downtown Quebec City, adjacent to Old Quebec. You can easily walk to Old Quebec, the St. Lawrence River, and Parliament Hill. The executive lounge, located on the 23rd floor, offers an even better viewing experience, with captivating cityscapes by day and dazzling lights by night. The exterior environment is beautiful, featuring a unique outdoor heated rooftop pool that's open year-round. In the summer, you can enjoy cocktails at the poolside bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This is definitely the hotel to choose when visiting Quebec! 👍

Very good location in the heart of downtown we don’t have a hard time to find places in downtown,, once that you step out in the hotel you are already in downtown area , very easy access in the bus from the airport and easy walking distance in the metro ,, highly recommended, staff are so friendly and helpful, I will definitely recommend this hotel if you’re planning to visit Montreal,

Arrived after midnight and planned to leave after breakfast. The gentleman at check in (Laird) advised that the kitchen probably wouldn't be open at 6am on Sunday. We planned to eat and run to catch a flight. He kindly offered to pack us a to-go breakfast. When we went to checkout at 6 after ordering the Uber, he advised that the kitchen will in fact be serving breakfast at 6. I told him the Uber was waiting, so could we just grab the to-go bags we'd ordered the night before? He advised that he didn't organise them, because the kitchen was open, so we could receive the hot breakfast included with the booking. So, ultimately, we left without eating anything. Could have been managed better. Also quite far from the airport. A comfortable stay, though.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, right next to the Plains of Abraham and the bar street. Parliament Hill is also very close. You can walk everywhere. The view from the room window is fantastic. However, the air conditioning is old and very noisy. Why wasn't the room cleaned on the second day? Is that common practice here?

I had an amazing time in the city of Montreal, with its vibrant atmosphere and lively summer spirit. From strolling through the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal, where history meets modern charm, to enjoying the stunning views from Mount Royal, every day was filled with unforgettable experiences. The city’s festivals and outdoor events added to the excitement, making summer in Montreal truly special. Whether savoring the local cuisine, exploring the artsy neighborhoods, or simply relaxing by the waterfront, every moment was a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and relaxation. Montreal in summer is an absolute delight!

The curtains are like sliding doors, so they block out light perfectly, and the soundproofing is excellent; it's quiet both day and night. There were unwashed coffee stains in the cups. Free parking is provided, and driving to the city center is quite convenient, although there can be some traffic.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Samsun Montréal. The place is clean, well-located, and comfortable. However, a major downside was that the bedding wasn’t made up beforehand. This was quite surprising since many other hostels in Montreal, even cheaper ones, provide this as a standard service. It’s especially inconvenient when you’re on an upper bunk as it creates noise and disturbs others. It would definitely be much more comfortable if beds were prepared in advance.

XxoolisaThe good: location is really unbeatable. It’s close to the old city, and the 747 airport bus stops right across. Train stations and bus terminals are walking distance too. The staff is friendly and helpful, I got to check in a bit early. The rooms were big and had beautiful views - I loved watching the sunset. However, I checked out early and couldn’t bare staying here one more night. It wasn’t that the room was cleaned poorly- that could have been fixed more easily. Instead, you could see the result of negligence over a period of time. The floor was so dirty I washed my feet before going to bed and putting on socks. There were particles of dust or something on the left side of my bed, under the covers - I noticed after getting a skin reaction. And the section of the bed where the sheets were tucked in was dirty, leaving dust and hair on the sides of the sheets. Some surfaces inside the bathroom weren’t cleaned well. Basically if you look closely anywhere there’s dust and dirt. This is the first time I’ve written a negative review on any hotel, but I think the issues were seriously enough that they’re worth raising.

AAnonymous UserGood location, close to other services (restaurant, coffeeshop..), close to downtown . Room is large enough, can be cleaner around back door, fresher odor is needed. Staff is ok, some use language more fluently than others. Kitchen/ breakfast is full, relaxing. Parking is safe

GGuest UserGreat location, close to some very good restaurants and a block away from Old Montreal, and close to Metro stations. The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. It does have a laundry facility, which is nice, but the breakfasts are really substandard, considering the cost. Selecting breakfasts increases the room cost significantly, or you could pay $27 per person for the breakfast. It was standard hotel breakfast buffet - you could get twice the quality for half the price elsewhere. And parking is $28 per day, or portion of a day.

CCarmen CarmelinaVery unique looking decor. Everything looked new and was very clean. Super amenities. I prefer hotels to Air BnB and this had the extras like a stove, fridge, cooking pots and pans, dishes, utensils, kettle, and a N'Espresso machine. There is even a Metro grocery store around the corner and restaurants outside The downsides are that it appears to be in an ”interesting” part of town (I would not be comfortable walking alone as a woman), and stairs, no elevator. It was a challenge to bring up the luggage even to the second level. Otherwise a great place in Quebec City and within walking distance to the train station, which is why I chose it.

LLittleMoonMoonI love this hotel. They have warm chocolate cookies, free hot spa and sauna. The bed is comfy and I had a really good sleep. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. I will definitely write a formal complaint. I was at the shower - the shower gel and shampoo were both empty. Obviously they didn’t refill the bottle. That’s fine. I called the counter and asked them to bring me new bottles. They rejected and asked me to go down. Ok that’s fine. I asked my friend to go down. He came back and said someone would come to change the bottles soon. Sure. I stood in the shower room for 10 minutes and no one came. Ok maybe they needed more time. I came out of the shower and sat down on the bed. Another 10 minutes. So I asked my friend to find someone. He was told that someone would come again. Another 10 minutes. A man came and gave me a bottle of shampoo and body lotion???? My friend went out again and finally got me some shower gel in a cup. It took more than 30 minutes and I just stood there. After shower, I got to do the skincare routine, dry my long hair and so on. Eventually, I went to check out. I was late of course. The lady asked me to pay for late fee. I was like ???????????????????? Explained and she agreed to waive the fee. Everything was perfect until the empty da** bottles. I am late for my lunch reservation now and I am missing some attractions for sure.

GGuest UserMy experience was awful. The first night a false alarm went off in the entire hotel at 4:45am. The next day we came back to our room and the room service was not done. Lastly, since the hotel was going through renovations, our last night at the hotel was horrible since the day before the AC units on our floor were turned off cause of the same renovations previously stated. In summary, an awful experience especially for how expensive the hotel was. The only good thing was the location but will never stay at this Embassy Suites again
