This hotel boasts an excellent location, making travel incredibly convenient. The JR station, bus stops, and highway bus terminal are all nearby. What's even better is that the ferry terminal is just a few minutes' walk away. In the evenings, you can enjoy a refreshing sea breeze and admire the night views at Takamatsu Port. The breakfast is abundant and delicious, and the dining staff are particularly warm and attentive! If I ever visit Takamatsu again, I would definitely choose this hotel!

Kiki TravelThis hotel gave me a big surprise. The environment, service, facilities and food are all above average. What I like most is that the hot spring facilities are large and comfortable. There are also flower hot springs and all-you-can-drink Japanese sake. It is an extraordinary experience. Highly recommended!

I'm not particularly picky about accommodation, but this one looks a bit old, just like my student dormitory. Although the appearance is not attractive, the actual hygiene is OK. The service is basically self-service. It's just a little bit opposite the station square, and it's very convenient to walk to Takamatsu Castle. I booked a triple room for one person, but it feels like it can actually accommodate four or five people. It has its own advantages compared to staying in an Internet cafe, but it feels better than other youth hostels.

Location is 10mins walk from busy street on a small slope, if not requesting pick up from train station, walking there seems a bit far away.
The atmosphere was quite dark in general, some of the places seems dated but overall a classic onsen hotel and staffs were attentive.
Not much amenities provided, just water in room and rest in fridge need to be charged as well as it's private onsen, which compared to the previous onsen hotel I stayed seems not too appealing.

I booked an accessible room, and it was genuinely spacious. It's really comfortable to stay in a 35 sqm room in Japan. There was a slight odor when I first entered the room, but it cleared up after I turned on the air purifier.
Downside: The soundproofing isn't great.
Upside: Everything else is a plus. The location is excellent. There's an airport shuttle right downstairs, which costs 1000 yen and goes directly to the airport. There are frequent services, almost hourly.
Location: Whether you're going to the airport, Takamatsu Port for island hopping, or the JR station, everything is within walking distance. It's a 12-minute walk to Takamatsu Port, which was perfect for our island-hopping itinerary. Mitsukoshi department store is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and it has an LV store with plenty of stock. There are also many choices for drugstores, restaurants, and cafes.
The room was cleaned daily. One time, I forgot to hang the 'please clean' sign and thought it wouldn't be done, but when I returned to the room, it felt completely refreshed, which was a lovely surprise. I forgot to take photos of the room, so I've included a picture of the beautiful blue sea and sky instead.

Stayed here for one night on our second visit to Naoshima in almost 10 years.
The lodge is quite close to the main port, but it’s up on a hill — so if you’re travelling with heavy luggage, the walk up can be a bit of a workout. That said, there’s a luggage delivery service about a 5-minute walk from the port. We paid around ¥2,800 for two large suitcases (pickup and return), which made things much easier. Bike rental was about ¥1,500 per day.
The lodge itself is clean and fairly spacious. Being on top of the hill gives you a really nice view over the island and out to the ocean. AC worked well, everything was straightforward, and nothing really went wrong.
Simple, comfortable stay. Would consider staying again.

Guest UserI love the location near the jetties, makes it so convenient to book tickets for my island hopping plans. There’s plenty of good eateries and 7-11 downstairs. Big bonus is the onsen bath and laundry facility on the 9th floor. Hotel even gives you a bottle of water incentive and they still give you fresh towels, which they hang on your room door when you don’t wish to have room make-up service. Another plus point is the airport limousine pick is within sister property - JR Clement Hotel
Highly recommend this hotel!

Roman.KusThe place includes the bar and cafe downstairs, chill area on the second floor and sleeping rooms on the third and forth floors.
The capsules are made of wood. If you close the curtain, it gets very hot inside. Need to use the fan. Also, if you plan to come sooner than 16:00 check-in time, that is not possible. You should drop your things at the safe boxes on the station nearby.
On the contrary, even after check-out you can keep the key of the storage box, walk around and take your stuff before 16:00.

This hotel is definitely one of the best, if not the best, on Shodoshima. They also have a pool with a sea view, but I didn't bring a swimsuit so I didn't go. The room was incredibly spacious with an unbeatable ocean view, and it even came with a washing machine, microwave, and electric stove. Even if the small shops around closed at night, you could still go to a nearby convenience store, buy a bento, and heat it up back in your room. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choices. Note: They offer online check-in (you'll get a link via Trip.com or email), so you can fill out your personal information in advance. Once you arrive at the hotel, you can use the QR code for a quick check-in.

Located in the heart of the bustling commercial district, the hotel boasts elegant Art Deco decor. The front desk staff who checked me in spoke English, and interestingly, on my check-out day, both front desk agents spoke Chinese. The room's furniture and lighting subtly exuded an old-money aesthetic, feeling natural and effortlessly sophisticated.
