ROYAL PARK HOTEL KURASHIKI
9.3/5102 Reviews
New beautiful hotel very close to the station (5 min walk) in a great location in the middle of restaurant and downtown area. The rooms are tiny so it’ll be just a place to sleep as you can hardly open a large suitcase, but the hotel has a nice lounge on the top floor. The room is super clean and has a fridge as well as a small electric kettle to make tea. This room had a full bathroom with a large bathtub but we preferred going to the big bathroom upstairs. When I stayed at a smaller room on another day, it only had a shower so it seems to differ by type of room. The breakfast set needs to be purchased separately but we thought it was worth it. The hot dish alternates between Western and Japanese style on a daily basis, and the buffet had all kinds of dishes including a very yummy Japanese style curry. Also, the lounge had a great terrace with an amazing view of the surrounding hills. In overall, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay to the extent we ended up extending our stay for a few days.

This hotel was perfect. The service was awesome, and the location is really good because this hotel is next to the Okayama station
UNO HOTEL

The transportation is very convenient! JR Uno Station is just across the road and provides access to downtown Okayama. It is only a four-minute walk from the port and a ten-minute boat ride to Naoshima. There was a lady at the counter who could speak Chinese. She provided me with a lot of help and recommended a delicious dinner. The breakfast is Western style, and the fruit and vegetable juices are particularly eye-catching. If you have food allergies, you can let us know in advance and we will prepare special dishes for you. Bottled water and snacks including corn on the cob puffs and Japanese tea are available in the common area. Things purchased from nearby supermarkets can also be placed in the refrigerator. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy a bath in the famous Setouchi Onsen Tamanoyu hot spring in the Setouchi Inland Sea. They can also pay to experience cooking, bedrock bathing, SPA and other services. Pajamas, down jackets and umbrellas are provided for use when moving between the two places. No The women's cabin is clean and tidy. After swiping the room card to enter, the sliding door of the single room cannot be locked, but there is a small safe (the computer cannot be put in it). The bathroom provided is also very clean and tidy. It is the largest and cleanest among the youth hostels I have stayed in. The Sekkisui series is also available for use.

Perfect location for having a run in early morning around Okayama castle area. The hotel is just a few step approaching from the Shirosita tram station! Highly recommend. P/s: we can ask for free iron machine from staff.

The hotel is not new, but looks modern and clean. The location is superb, next to the Okayama staion and Aeon mall. On the 10th floor there is public bath, thouh not natural hot spring. We liked using it after long day of walking). It really hepls to ease muscle pain. Breakfast is very good and there is a lot of space in the restaraunt.
HOTEL MYSTAYS Okayama

Decent stay, although can be quite noisy as the walls are quite thin. Thankfully, the hotel provides free ear plugs. Breakfast is the same everyday, a bit boring for those who stay for many nights. Other than that, location wise is OK, walkable distance from Okayama Station.

The hotel is a bit far from the station, but is still walking distance. The room is small. The service is great. The staff can communicate in basic English but they are very helpful in providing information.
Daiwa Roynet Hotel OKAYAMA-EKIMAE

The hotel is just opposite the east exit of Okayama Station. The rooms are a bit old and clean. There are several shopping malls around, Takashimaya is a 3-minute walk away and Aeon is a 6-7-minute walk away, making shopping very convenient. It is also not far from Korakuen. You can take a 16-minute ride from Okayama Station to Kurashiki, which is very pleasant.

The hotel is located in the train station building, which is very convenient. The reception is on the fifth floor. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage. The room is a good size in Japan. It is just a little noisy in the evening or morning because it is in the train station. It is very convenient to go to Korakuen by bus for a few stops.

Everything was just as described. Comfortable modern, clean. Kettle and cup in room, but no tea bags. The sound proofing isn't great but fortunately voices and laugher stopped at 1030pm.
